Ave's Pov

Honestly I was jealous when the flirtatious Gayatri called her name and tried to hug in front of everyone. Salim is mine now. It's only natural that I'm jealous, isn't it?

"Avelina ..." Someone shouted my name from the terrace. I immediately got out of the room and headed towards the terrace to see who was coming. It turned out to be Duo Congek.

"Le, what do you do ning endi? Ana wong old ning kene, kowe bablas ae mlebu."((Son, where's your ethics? There's an old man here you come in. 'bout) Eyang Yaya was scolding Dimas and Bhishma for entering through the terrace on a motorcycle.

"Sorry opa" they said with a laugh.

I was about to get out, but was prevented by Salim and Mas Bagas. They told me not to interfere.

"Those dreams you know, le? Show Eyang doesn't like it.

"Yeahyang. They are friends of Salim," Salim replied as he looked at them with dislike.

"Ora ana polite karo wong old. Ora seneng karo kancamu, Le." I see the angry face.

"Eyang. Let Bagas talk to them" said Mas Bagas as he led Eyang in.

It seems that Eyang looks annoyed with the irreverence of Dimas and Bisma who play nyelenong alone without permission. Eyang's regret was at its peak when he knew Mas Bowo had forgotten to close the fence so that the congek entered without permission.

"Oh this is Ave's brother? We thought it was his bodyguard, "it was Dimas who made Bisma laugh softly.

"What do you really want?" Salim had lost his patience.

The bisma took out an envelope and took out several pieces of documents.

"It's better that you sign the document stating neither your father nor you will receive all the inheritance of the Malik family. If not I will act," threatened Bisma while thrusting a ballpoint pen for me to sign.

"Never sign that letter, Lim. You will regret," said Bagas did not accept.

"But Bagas? What about Ave?" There is guilt from Salim.

Salim put the document back into the hands of Bhishma. Both Dimas and Bhishma were about to get angry but they knew that if they did anything beyond reason today, the effort they had devised would be in vain.

Bhishma got up from his seat and took back the document violently.

"One day you'll do it, Tubagus. I'm not going to mess with my words" said Bisma.

"Remember once again your time for that signature is less than two months." Bisma gave a warning.

Salim and Bagas looked at each other on Trail motorcycles.

"Don't mind his words. Remember never to put your autograph on that document, Lim," Bagas said as he walked into the house.

Salim was confused by the decision he had to make. If he gave his signature then he and his father would never be able to use the name Malik as a family surname and would never receive his inheritance. Whereas if he does not sign the document then the Jayanatra family and himself will be threatened. Especially Ave who should be protected. Salim knew that Uncle Husni would do anything for wealth and power. With his cruel attitude Uncle Husni will harm Ave people closest to Salim.

Salim raised his head so that God would give him strength to take care of his family and the family of Jayanatra. It carries a great responsibility.

Ave's Pov

Today there will be a midterm exam that I have to face. Salim can't deliver to campus. He went to help Mas Bagas take care of tea orders to be sent to Palembang. Finally, Mas Bowo who delivered and will pick me up later in the afternoon.

Bruck...

It was the second time I fell in the bathroom. Somehow these few days my head is spinning and my heart seems to be beating faster. If I run a little, my breath will feel tight. Is my pain coming back?

Kuraih Inhaeler in the nightstand. This little thing was always beside me. Things that work to help breathe if my pain relapses.

"Jeez Miss." Mira half-screamed when I saw me fall.

I closed his mouth to be quiet.

"Don't tell anyone, Ma'am. Ave slipped," I said lying.

"Why Non?" tanyanya panic.

"Sir if Mom or Eyang knows for sure Ave is not allowed to go to college. Ave had a test today," I asked Mbak Mira to keep this a secret.

"But npNon. The face of Non Ave is pale. Later more sick," complained mbak Mira again.

"Already Ma'am. Ave is okay. Just relax." I interrupted her words while showing a cheerful face.

"Relatedly Non?" mira asked in disbelief.

"I'm sure Mira," I said steadily.

Finally with a heavy heart Mira allowed me to go to campus and kept this a secret to everyone.

Salim's Pov

There was an uncomfortable feeling when I couldn't get Ave to campus. Mas Bagas asked me to help him send an order of tea leaves to Palembang. At first I didn't, but my father and Eang persuaded me not to worry about Ave.

"Son, you were dumb. What's up?" ask me when I see you daydreaming in the study.

"Miss Ave is okay, Lim. Don'worry. There's Bowo looking after her" Dad said again.

"Jaka, kok yo sehynybut your mistress. Cah Ayu wes dadi. Aja called Cah Ayu Nona Maneh," reprimanded Eyang Yaya who listened to the father still mention Ave with the miss. [Jaka, I still call your daughter 'Miss' . Cah Ayu is already your daughter-in-law so don't mention it like that again ]

"Wes dadi eyed habit," replied the father.

Eyang Yaya simply shook his head and smiled.

"Le, I'm worried about Cah Ayu tah? Saka isuk until saiki kowe daydreams ae." Eyang Yaya instead of reprimanding me. [Le, you're worried about Cah Ayu, aren't you? From morning until now you daydream]

"Yeah there is a bad feeling in Salim's heart but Salim doesn't know what it is."

"Yo wes's. Kowe pick up Cah Ayu marine. Eyang mulih karo your father bumped the motor," suggested Eyang who makes me happy.

"Supervised suwun, Eyang," I said, saying goodbye.

I drove a black CRV to the Ave campus. Mira said something about Ave but I didn't hear Mira said. All I caught was Ave got sick.

Arriving at the campus, I directed my eyes to look for a sedan car that used to drive Ave to campus. From a distance, Mas Bowo was confused as if looking for something. I'm approaching Mas Bowo right away.

"What's Bowo looking for?" I asked out of curiosity.

"Roof?" Mas Bowo was half surprised.

"Where is Ave?" I went back to asking.

"I'm sorry Mas Bowo, Salim" he asked.

"What's up, anyway, Mas Bowo?"

"Salim, how is this? Miss Ave is gone" he said in panic and fear.

"What do you mean by Bowo?" I panicked too.

"So there were two friends Miss Ave approached Miss after college. I guess they took Mona Ave to class to complete a task that hasn't. But I waited a long time Miss has not come out and I went after her. Miss is not in class. Non Ayu and Non Rani said to me that Miss has come home from earlier," said Bowo in a panic.

"Did Mas Bowo know the characteristics of two of Ave's friends?" My investigation wants to know.

Mas Bowo nodded and explained in detail. I'm who they are.

Dimas and Bisma

"If in an hour Salim doesn't find Ave. Mas Bowo report to Dad and Eyang Yaya." I asked him to report.

"Yes Salim. Miss Ayu and Miss Rani were looking for."

I got back in the car and looked for Ave's whereabouts.

"Avel is with us. It's safe here."

Dimas sent me a message. I know where they took Ave.
