"Gue heard that Salim's a maid, huh?" ask the kunti Safira in front of me when we eat in the cafeteria.

"Not Brother. Salim my distant brother." I answered him reluctantly.

"What's up, huh, brother?" I parroted without being told.

"Look, yeah. I want Salim to be my girlfriend. Don't be weird with him," explained the kunti at length like a ruler.

"Would you like Salim? Do you know who Salim is?"

"Hey flirtatious!. I don't care who Salim is. If I like it, it doesn't matter" it looks like a highway.

"The problem, Brother. Would Salim not be like brother? Did Salim say love to my sister?" Don't you?" I feel satisfied when I say that. It's good to grab somebody's girlfriend.

The kunti puffed up in annoyance and passed away as the canteen boys cheered him.

Who's flirty? Fuckin' kunti.

"Wah cave don't think you're brave, Vel." Rani with her cry was astonished at my attitude earlier.

"I'm tired of picking up the phone every day looking for Salim."

"Who's looking for Salim, Vel?" tanya Ayu stirred her chicken noodles.

"Who else if not the girls in this college. They're all flirty." I'm really upset with Salim being too much of a fan.

"Is there anyone jealous?" Rani teases me with her eyes.

"Who? Me? Oh no." I avoid my own feelings.

"Don't lie to us. You can't lie to us." Ayu also chimed in on Rani's words.

"What the hell are you guys doing?" I went straight out in front of those who often teased me.

The clock is coming home almost. I think I want to go home quickly. Oh ... No I can't relax. There's still a lot to be done. The girl's problems are flirtatious and learn finance about the plantation with Salim. Of course there is Eang Yaya who will accompany us. I wonder the same Eyang. La wong I don't do anything with Salim. They always watch over us. Less work this guy.

"Vel, who's home?" Brother Dimas was already in front of the class when the clock came home.

"As usual." I answered while walking towards the parking lot.

"Follow me yuk. I'll ask you to let you walk with me." Sok he spoke like that even though he did not know the nature of Eyang.

"It's easy to talk to my eyes? It's not easy, brother. I'm the only one whose granddaughter does not easily ask permission from Eyang," I explained so that he understood if I do not like to walk.

"Give me the same. It must be allowed" he said with great confidence.

"It's up to my sister." I was lazy to respond to his words.

True allegations. It is not that easy to give permission for just anyone to take their children or grandchildren for a walk except for a crowd.

This is what happened I was given permission to go with Kak Dimas as long as someone accompanied me. Salim and little Jaka, Mba Mira's son.

We just went for a walk around the park and ate grilled corn. Salim plays with Jaka. Me and Brother Dimas were sitting on a park bench.

"I'm sorry, yes, Brother. Like that," I apologize for not agreeing.

"The one that still holds the rules of the past. We have to stick to it."

"I know that Eyangmu still holds the tradition, but it is now the 21st century. A century of freedom in choice. You should have told your eyes if you also needed freedom. Free to choose your life path, choose a soul mate or go with anyone" he explained straightforwardly while holding my finger. I untyed.

"Sorry Brother. I think we should go home. Jaka's getting sleepy." I gave a reason to want to go home soon.

I can see that Brother Dimas is reluctant to go home. But what do I care. Indeed Eyang Yaya gave rules to his children, but he never forced the will of his children or grandchildren as long as he thought it was good. Eyang still gave a little leeway of opinion. I don't like it when someone tells us we haven't been friends for long.

At eight o'clock we had to get home unless there was work at school or campus. I immediately called Mas Bowo to carry the sleeping Jaka. I lazily say goodbye to Brother Dimas.

Salim's Pov

"Salim ...." Dimas called out as I was about to climb the stairs.

"What's up Dim?" I turned my body.

"What's your relationship with Avel?" tanyanya was suspicious.

"My relationship?"

"Yes. I want to know your relationship with Aveliena. You're just a maid, aren't you?" He is speaking in front of me now.

"I'm not a maid if you know, Dim?" I walked back down the stairs towards him.

"If you're not his maid then what? Brother?" He grieves haughtily.

"More than the maid." I answered him quietly so that no noise could be heard.

"It's up to you, Salim. For sure I'll take it from you" he said, riding his motorcycle.

You want to take it from me? Don't expect Dimas. I was gonna love him.

"Sir..." I was shocked when someone patted me on the shoulder.

"Not heard the man's words. Whatever is yours forever will be yours. We will always support you, Salim" Brata said, sitting on the steps.

"But Salim thinks Ave has not been able to accept Salim as his future fiance, Pakde." I poured out this heart.

"Who said? That's just your thinking, Lim. Remove those ugly thoughts from your brain from now on."

Before I spoke there was already someone shouting from above.

"Dad ...."

"Told to enter with Eyang Uti. It's night." It's night." Ave stood in front of the door with a waist clack.

"Well that's see. Who can change his nature other than you, Lim," said Pakde got up and immediately entered the house.

That's right Pakde said. I have to erase this ugly thought.

"Salim Lim .. fast in. I'll lock it. Kapok you." My little miss called out in a loud voice until Eyang Uti shouted along.

"Nduk, wes bengi. Ojo rame - rame." (It's night. Not many)
