Mike ignored yet another whatsapp call from Laura. He put his phone back before a message notification came in. Mike glanced at her and found a message from Laura lining up among the other whatsapp group messages.

"I know you want to stay away from me, Mike. I know you did this because you had to. If you don't mind, I'd like to see you. Bring your girlfriend too, I want to see her."

"Say, where should I see you ?"

Briefest. Dense. Evidently. Don't want to mince words Mike replied to Laura's message.

"Cafe at the hotel where you work. I'm waiting for you both."

Not long after, Laura replied to Mike's message. Without thinking again Mike prepared himself and then walked to the boarding yard, where he parked his motorcycle. He didn't tell Tania first. In a hurry he rode his motorcycle to the Tania boarding house, no matter if his lover was in the boarding house or not.

"Mandi, prepare yourself. Beautiful Dandan, I'm waiting for you in front of the hostel."

Unblunt. There was not much he said and he turned off the phone. No matter what Tania's response was, she put her phone back in her jacket pocket.

"Why did you take me to the hotel, Mike ?"

Mike did not answer Tania's question. He walked to the left elevator. He deliberately covered his face with a jacket headgear and of course that made Tania even more confused.

"Mike, you're not gonna fuck with me here, are you ?"

For the question this time, Mike turned his head and looked at Tania's face. He did not expect Tania to think like that but this was the risk because she did not want to tell the truth.

"Tania, I'm targeting you. Ii'm sorry. But you'll find out after this."

"What do you mean, Mike ?"

Mike did not answer again until the elevator door opened. He held Tania's hand and pulled her into the elevator.

"Mike, don't mess around or I'll leave you here" Tania threatened.

Of course Tania would think that way. He was frightened because the fact Mike took him into a luxury hotel and from then on his question had not received the right answer.

"Mike, tell me what you want to bring me here or you will regret it" Tania whispered as she did not want her voice heard by other hotel guests who were in an elevator with them.

"Mike, let go of me or I'll yell" Tania whispered in a furious tone in Mike's ear as Mike clasped her hand and pulled her out after the elevator door opened on the fifth floor.

Mike ignored Tania's question. Tania takes a deep breath and tries to eliminate the fear that overwhelms her after she finds out Mike only took her to a cafe.
