Mike stood in front of the villa and looked at the raindrops dripping from the roof of the villa. Empty look. Right, Kevin was jealous of what he had just seen.
Inside, Kevin tries to let go of Mega's embrace. He asked his girlfriend to stay up and warm her body there, near the village.
"We'll leave when you're not cold anymore" whispered Kevin.
Mega nodded and thanked Kevin for his concern. Then with a shaky step, Kevin approached Mike at the door.
"You want a cigarette, bro?" ask Kevin to offer his cigarette to Mike.
"No. Thank you, Bro," Mike replied quickly after realizing Kevin had been standing next to him.
Then they shut up. Kevin lit his cigarette. It spouts a very thick smoke at its first attraction.
"I think you should know and now it's time, Bro," said Mike. Kevin glanced at his best friend with a confused face.
"Since I went to college, I've known Mega. We were so close. I always drive him and pick him up at his boarding house" Mike explained.
Kevin should know. Now he regrets to have recognized Mega to Kevin without explaining to Kevin exactly what happened.
Mega may have explained to her lover but not as detailed as possible so Kevin still feels jealous to this day.
"Mega did love me. He's disappointed in me because I didn't love him back" Mike continued. Kevin still enjoying a skirt.
"I also love him, but I cannot accept him as my lover. I can only love her as a friend, as my sister." This time Mike tried to look at Kevin.
"I'm happy if you're jealous. That means you really love Mega right now" Mike continued with a smile.
Kevin remained silent not responding to Mike's explanation.
"To this day, Mega and I are still very close because Mega has mengikhlaskan me and want to love me as a friend and brother."
Mike went back inside the villa and grabbed his jacket. Mega remained silent and warmed her body near the fire.
Mike didn't say anything to her. The man came out again and met Kevin who was still standing outside.
"I'm sorry, Bro. I think it's natural that I'm jealous. I love Mega very much. I don't want to lose it a second time, Bro," said Kevin, glancing at Mike as his best friend stood beside him.
"I'm the one who should apologize. I asked for it. I was wrong" said Mega suddenly. The girl stood behind them.
Mike looked back but Kevin remained firmly in his position. Mega stepped forward and hugged her lover again.
"I don't want your relationship with Mike to be ruined, Vin," Mega said again.
"If I'm angry, I've gone and left you when I saw you hugging earlier" Kevin replied quickly.
Mike was shocked by Kevin's words that grabbed Mega's speech. He glanced at his best friend for a moment.
"Please don't argue anymore. I was wrong" Mega suddenly interrupted.
"I'm not gonna hug Mike like I did. Will you forgive me ?" ask Mega about her boyfriend.
Kevin spouted his last smoke and threw away the cigarette butt carelessly. It will be turned off by rainwater. He glanced at his girlfriend and smiled.
"I forgave you long before you apologized. I told you, if I'm angry I've left and left you. Sorry if my jealousy seems excessive, because I love you Mega" whispered Kevin to his girlfriend.
Mega smiled and hugged Kevin. Kevin glanced at Mike who was staring blankly outside. In her heart she felt guilty still behaving like that right in front of her lover.
"Bro, I'm sorry" he told Mike. Mike looked at Kevin and smiled.
"Casual, Bro. I'm sorry too. Hopefully after this there will be no more misunderstandings between us" Mike replied.
Mike walks back into the villa and picks up Kevin and Mega's jacket. His two best friends let him hug each other at the door.
Mike is now relieved, at least with this incident gave him a lesson to no longer be too close to Mega, let alone to cuddle like that.
Today Kevin, maybe tomorrow or the day after Tania will be jealous. Jealousy is not just for others. Jealousy can be for anyone. To my brother, especially my friend.
Mike took a deep breath and let go and went out to meet his two best friends.
"Mega, are you ready to continue the journey ?" ask Mike suddenly.
Mega let go of her embrace. He looked towards Mike.
"Yes, I think I've. My clothes will dry themselves on the road if exposed to the wind" replied Mega.
Mike hands the jacket to Kevin and Mega and they get ready to continue their journey back.
The rain always tells its own story. He left not only memories, but also memories. In the past, the rain gave Mega a chance to almost fall asleep on Mike's chest. And today, it happened again. Will there be any more or today be the last lesson after it is known Kevin is really jealous ?
"Bro, sorry about that. I hope this doesn't build a wall between us. I have to learn not to be jealous if it's you. Sorry if I'm overreacting." Kevin intercepts Mike's move.
Mike stopped and looked at Kevin, his best friend.
"Bro, I'm glad you're jealous. I'll keep my attitude if I'm near Mega. Today you're jealous, tomorrow or the day after tomorrow it could be Tania" replied Mike .
"I'm happy you've forgotten Cindy and your love is now only for Mega, Bro" whispered Mike softly to his best friend. Of course Mega didn't hear it.
"Hehehehe, don't discuss that anymore. I want Mega now," said Kevin with a small laugh and passed away to go to his motr bike.
They tighten the helmet straps together. Kevin tidied up his jacket, as did Mega.
It's midnight. They had to rush to Jakarta so Mike could rest because he had to work.
"Hopefully there are no more obstacles on the road yes, we should have arrived in Jakarta before morning," Mike said before they left the villa.
Mega tightened her arms at Kevin. They both take positions up front and let Mike follow them from behind.
They took the time to thank the villa guard and continue their journey back to Jakarta. They no longer care about the beautiful scenery of the village lights on the hillside. The rain has ruined everything.
