LAST GREETINGS

Episode 19's

The second semester of the class has now started again. Mike has arranged his work time well so that his lecture is not disturbed. He went to college three days full and the rest he focused on working.

Mike stepped into the campus courtyard. Suddenly a voice greeted him from behind.

"Mike, wait for me," the voice stopped Mike. Mike knew that voice. He looked around and found Mega walking towards him.

"Hi, Mega. I thought you had arrived first" he said, handing Mega a greeting. Mega just smiled.

"How are you ready for the new semester ?" ask her for a moment while stepping towards the classroom.

"Everything is not ready, it must be ready, hehehe," replied Mega immediately with a small laugh.

Mike walked into the classroom followed by Mega. When he got to the front door of the class, Mega asked him to enter first. He's going to the toilet. Mike gave a small nod and entered the classroom and headed for his seat.

Mike walks with Mega to the parking lot. As usual, Mega will go home with him. Mike's mind was a little relieved because since the meeting this morning, Mega did not show any signs that he still harbored his feelings of love for Mike. I don't know, Mega holds it in her heart or she is really trying to accept the fact that Mike can't repay her love for Mega.

"To the park, or straight home ?" mike asked suddenly breaking the silence between them.

"Other times. I want to go straight to the boarding house" replied Mega flat. Mike nodded while tightening his helmet strap.

Mega didn't talk much today. Mike felt something was different than usual. Since leaving the parking lot, Mega has not put both hands on Mike's waist and holds Mike's jacket. Not like before. Mega really kept her distance this time.

Mike lets the change happen while pretending to be unaware of what is going on between them.

"What was my offer yesterday. Have you thought about it ?" Mike asked while turning his face so that Mega could hear his voice.

"I'm not ready yet. I'll let you know if the poems are ready" replied Tania. He slightly brought his mouth closer to Mike's ear. It was only at that time, the sitting distance was a little closer to Mike.

Mike was silent. He let this different atmosphere just happen. So is Mega, she's trying to keep her feelings for Mike from showing up again. Yes, hopefully he can because Mike can not return his love. This is what's best for them.

"Let me know right away so I can set my time and set up your meeting with Kevin" Mike said. Mega just nodded behind him.

Mike again focused on looking forward, occasionally looking for a gap in the road that can be to slip his motorcycle. The streets are quite crowded so as always, it always causes congestion.

"Mike, have you liked another girl ? " Task Mega instantly. Surprised to hear Mega's question, Mike almost crashes into a transport car in front of him. He immediately braked with all his might. Mega hugged him. Mega is shocked and frightened to realize Mike's nervousness that almost made them wretched. Of course things that suddenly turned out like this convinced Mega more and more about what he was thinking lately.

"What's up Mike ?" ask Mega for a moment.

"I'm sorry Mega. His cargo stopped suddenly," Mike replied with a trembling voice. Mike was struck by lightning hearing Mega's question. Her face flushed. He did not answer Mega's question. His mind began to rage. He thought hard whether Mega realized that he was in love with another girl ? He began to fight a great war against his own mind.

Mike kept staring ahead, pretending to forget Mega's question.

"A moment to get to Mega's boarding house, hopefully he does not ask again," he said.

Mike deliberately focused on paying attention to the streets that are still crowded so it looks not to know that he has not answered Mega's question.

He reduced the speed when he was about to get in front of the Mega boarding house. Mike stopped the motorcycle for a moment and was about to leave immediately when Mega got off the motorcycle.

"Mike, you haven't answered my question yet," asked Mega suddenly, stopping her intention to leave immediately. Her face flushed. His heart is beating fast.

"Yet. I'll tell you if there is," she replied half nervously.

Mega just silently looked at him. Both of Mega's hands tightly hugged several large books that she had stuck to her chest.

"alright. Be careful on the road, Mike. Thank you for driving me," said Mega quietly.

"Every boss. Don't forget to eat yes" Mike said with a smile on Mega. Mega nodded then turned around and walked into the gate.

Mike pulls his motorcycle gas and leaves the Mega boarding alley. His mind is still fucked. His heart is still beating fast.

"May Mega trust me" he said.

Mike thinks a great war between Mega and Tania will start soon if Mega knows the truth. He became afraid. Instantly his mind was fixed on Tania. He imagined what would happen if that happened.

Mike tried to watch the road in front of him to arrive safely at his boarding house. He ignored the thoughts of Mega and Tania for a moment. His mind was relieved earlier when he felt the changes that happened to Mega lately, especially that he felt today. Ever since that night at the park, Mega seemed to have changed on Mike.

Today Mega spoke very little. No more questions about Mike's feelings for her. There was no request to stop by the park and spend their time there. Everything looks as if it is fine, Mega is trying hard to kill her feelings for Mike. He studied sincerely.

But Mega's question that almost made them wretched earlier really disturbed Mike's mind. Mike thought Mega would forget him when he pretended not to remember him again. What Mike is thinking right now is that his fear is going to happen - when Mega comes back from the village and he's trying to conquer Tania's heart - he doesn't want to see the sight of two girls fighting and grab each other's hair.

Mike parked his motorcycle after arriving at the boarding house. He opened the door quickly and entered, put his bag on the chair and laid his body on the bed.

"Lord, help me. May all be well," he spoke himself pleading with the Lord. Both of his hands were rubbed on his face, occasionally squeezing his head.

His mind is fucked again. Stuck between her feelings for Tania and Mega's feelings for her. He was really confused how. What should he say to Mega when he has succeeded in making Tania his lover ?

His face was mediocre, not handsome and attractive. But why should he get stuck on this taste ? Ahh, Mike is really confused as to how to deal with this situation.

"Hopefully Mega quickly fell in love with Kevin so that he immediately let Mike to belong to someone else."
