Part 74: Give Him a Chance

They decide to eat together at Louis's restaurant, because Louis will be brought home to his parents.

They are warmly welcomed.

The morning restaurant was still quiet as it had just opened, and it would be crowded starting from lunchtime.

Finally they were now in the vip dining room. Food has been served. Ana only looked at the food one by one, because she still could not consume other foods besides the porridge cooked very diluted.

"Why don't you eat??" Ask Louis in wonder.

"I'm still full.I ate fruits in the hospital.." said Ana lied.

"Eat this.." timpal Jane thrust a vegetable salad.

Mr. Kim also appeared to pour warm water into Ana's glass.

Louis looked at it carefully, Ana was really treated very well.

"I'm going to the office this afternoon." said Ana gulped her warm water.

"You just take a break today Ms. Grey.."

"It's okay. I have to take care of some of Franz's company files.."

"You're gonna buy it?" Jane enjoyed the food.

"Of course.wasn't that your wish from the beginning?? Mastering all Franz's.." Tukas Ana flatly downed her warm water.

"You sound like you don't like doing it." - Jane chimed in a cynical tone.

Ana slammed the glass in her hand onto the table, sighing loudly. Instantly made everyone jump in shock.

"Don't start again.I'm saving my energy.." chirped Ana coldly growling.

"Have.had eaten.let's eat again.while it's still warm.." exclaimed Louis who was sitting across Ana, Ana, he also appears to be piercing pieces of boiled potatoes with a fork and trying to feed them to Ana.

"Eat.."

Ana says without any resistance or comment, she opens her mouth to take a bribe from Louis. Of course, making Jane, Mr. Kim and Ms. Louis who also ate together were stunned by the situation.

"It's so sweet." Louis' mother chirped awkwardly.

"You guys dating??" Timpal Jane guess.

"Hmm.." Ana's quick nod made Louis choke. She did not expect Ana to admit it. He thought Ana was just trying to play him.

"really??" Excited Louis' mother was shocked.

While Mr. Kim just smiled sweetly got a response from Ana.

"Of course, Mom.."

Louis' mother patted Louis' left arm hard. "At last you melted her heart??" Mumbled Louis' mother was happy.

Louis stammered in response to his mother.

"No. she hasn't melted my heart yet." Ana's bell chimed.

"A..what do you mean??" Ask her mother confused.

"She wanted to date me. I just gave her a chance. I haven't felt anything at all for her yet." Ana added casually.

Louis was stunned for a moment. He did not know what to respond, but there was pain in his chest, feeling tight and feeling sad. He looked at Ana's calm face while watching the fruit and vegetable salad bowl in front of him.

"Sooner or later you will be able to feel Louis' sincerity in you." Louis' mother said as she comforted her son Louis.

"You're just wasting empty space in your heart for her. she doesn't even have a heart or a feeling.." Jane insinuated Ana to Louis.

Louis seemed to nod in understanding with a sad feeling in his heart.

Drrt..

Ana's phone rang, momentarily looking at her phone screen and she immediately got up out.

"I picked up the phone for a second.."

The atmosphere in the dining room became awkward.

"You think he's gonna melt himself??" Louis asked in despair.

"Of course. Do you know how bad our relationship is?? Look now, he's given me a chance to make things right, and I'm not going to want to question this opportunity, even if we're very opposites, but at least I'm going to have to try to keep giving up until the end.."

"Until the end??" Louis was confused.

"I mean, I'm old.no one knows.at least I want to die on good terms with him.. he made me aware a lot, so I had to be more patient and give in to him.."

"Surely, sometimes he's really very rude and crazy." nodding Louis understood.

"justified?? I also think the same. That's why we in our right mind have to give up a lot. hahahha.." whispered Jane then laughed.

"What are you laughing at??" Ana's chirps suddenly from the direction of the dining room door.

"Nothing.." Jane's bellowing still chuckles.

"Let's go. I still have business.. Mom.. I say goodbye first.I'm sorry I can't linger long.." said Ana immediately passed away without waiting for another.

Louis' mother seemed to run small while carrying a mini box of stacking supplies that he had prepared since earlier under the table, he seemed to catch up with Ana out.

"Ana.." she called Ana.

"Mommy.. What's wrong??"

"This. I've prepared some food menu, you've barely eaten anything since. bring it.." he said thrusting the mini box.

"There is no need to bother like this, ma'am." added Ana Sungkan.

"Hurry up. Bring this. You have to eat a lot, your body is getting thinner.You can work hard, but still have to take care of your own health.."

"I'm sorry.."

"I'm sorry why?"

"On my relationship with Louis." replied Ana bowed.

"Why apologize to me?? I know Louis really likes you, but you also have the right to reject him.The feeling can never be forced.but I'm sure that one day you will feel the sincerity of my son for you.."

Ana only speaks a thousand languages. I'm doing this with no strings attached to you, Ana. I already consider you my son, so never feel guilty or condescending to me if it's between you and Louis.. you're a grown man and woman, whatever you want to do, it's your right to privacy, so even if you deny her feelings, I hope you don't refuse to keep up good relations with my family.."

Ana only nodded in understanding, her eyes looking glassy.

"Thank you.."

They finally leave, Louis immediately disembarked at his new house near the middle of the city, while Ana had just arrived at her apartment, Jane decided to take Ana to her apartment doorstep.

"Don't forget to eat and take medicine." exclaimed Jane standing at the door handing over Ana's belongings.

"All right.." Ana pulls the doorknob but Jane immediately holds it back.

"Wait, are you sure you're alone here??"

"Of course." nodded Ana immediately pulled the doorknob again, but again Jane held it back.

"What else is it??" Ask Ana softly.

"Don't forget you reheat the food first, let it be more delicious." said Jane base stale.

"I know." answered Ana, irritatedly pulling the doorknob shutting the door, but this time Jane slipped her foot between the doors so that they wouldn't close.

"Can you stop?? I really don't want to fight with you.." Ana sounded very annoyed, yet she looked very limp.

"I'm really worried about you." said Jane Lirih.

"Go away. I'm fine.." Pinta Ana held back her anger.

"All right. I'm going.."

Ana still sees Jane who seems reluctant to leave.

"Close the door." said Jane backwards slowly.

"I won't close it until you get into the elevator." Ana yelled softly.

"All right, I'm right to leave immediately.." This time Jane really left, she immediately went into the elevator. Apartment Ana in 1 floor there are only 2 rooms facing each other, incidentally the apartment in front of him has just been empty. And he plans to buy the apartment so that no one lives there.
