Part 40: Layla's Suspicious Behavior

Ana's body was drenched in sweat even though the room temperature was already very comfortable.

"No. don't. let go of me. no.." Ana tried to rebel in her sleep.

"Akh !!" Pekik Ana awoke with a reflex immediately pointing a gun at Louis which she took out of her pocket. He was still asleep in his full clothes. Louis, who had been awake, immediately sat in front of Ana and tried to shake her shoulders to wake her from a nightmare.

Louis was shocked when Ana pointed the gun right in front of his face with trembling hands. Louis handled it very calmly.

"It's me. It's me.." exclaimed Louis softly holding the gun slowly and took it slowly from Ana's hand and immediately placed it on the table beside Ana's bed.

"You're having a nightmare??" Ask Louis lirih.

Ana looked at him blankly, her breath hunting, sweat pouring from her forehead.

Louis grabbed a glass of mineral water on the table, thrusting it at Ana. "Drink.."

But Ana did not immediately take the glass, she seemed to shift to the side trying to open the small desk drawer, reached into the drawer and took out a white bottle, and, then he took out a yellow white tablet.

"That must be the sedative Mr. Kim said." Louis murmured inwardly.

Ana immediately downed the medicine with a glass of water that Louis gave her. He began to seem to calm down and set his breath slowly.

"Do you feel calm now??" Ask Louis again.

Ana just nodded slowly. "I'm sorry I almost hurt you." Ana Parau added.

"Relax.it's not the first time.maybe I'll get used to it soon.." replied Louis lightly.

The look on Ana's face looked at Louis in confusion.

"At that time, when we fell asleep in your office.You were like this too. You pointed a gun at me... don't you remember??"

"Hundreds.." answered Ana.

"What??" Louis was shocked.

"That's in the storage shed for me to sell. that I keep private there are 5.."

"Can I have one??"

"It's lucky that you have it so easily.. Then where did you keep it??" Louis looked very impressed.

"What I always bring 1, the workspace in the office there is 1, beside the bed there is 1. in the kitchen there is 1 and in the bathroom.." clearly Ana while pointing towards the point where she was storage.

"Why did you spread it like that??"

"I won't know where my enemies will attack. I must always be on my guard.." Ana got up from her seat. Louis was still focused on Ana.

"You're not resting anymore?? It's still 4 in the morning.."

"Ah.. do you want to smoke? don't you want another break?"

"After this.." replied Ana immediately passed wanting to near the window of the room.

"You sleep on the couch??" Ana asked when she saw that there were pillows and blankets on her sofa. "Sleep in the guest room.."

"I was afraid to go inside alone. later even considered a thief." Louis reasoned.

Though shortly after Ana cried as much as she did at the mini bar she fell asleep at the bar table, after downing a lot of wine.

Louis then carried her in his arms, and she met Aunt Layla as she passed by the living room. He asks where Ana's room is, and immediately drives Ana after being told by Aunt Layla. They also talked afterwards. Aunty Layla also said in recent days Ana seemed to often stay up even for a few days seemed not to sleep. Aunt Layla noticed it when she went to the kitchen every night she saw Ana's room lights were still on, because from the direction of the kitchen there was a window next to Ana's room, so she could see the lights were on or not, Ana never sleeps with the lights on.

Shortly after that Louis returned to Ana's room to check his condition, but he was asleep by looking at Ana. He can also see Ana looking restless, like the last time they stayed at the office. That's why in the morning Mr. Kim saw Ana fall asleep on Louis' shoulder.

"Let me take you to the guest room.." Ana immediately undoes her intention to smoke, she immediately leads Louis through the connecting door behind the closet to the guest room in the main mansion, because if it passes outside it will be very cold because it is snowing.

"Is there a secret door, too???" Louis was surprised to see that door could be there.

"Sleep here.." Ana sets the heating button on the side wall of the room entrance. Then Ana gets out of there.

As she was about to return to the connecting door, Ana saw the light at the end of the hallway turn on, and the light went to Aunt Layla's room. The curious Ana walked towards the direction of the passageway that passed through the living room. Ana settles slowly. At her sight, Aunt Layla's bedroom door opened slightly. It looks so messy. Ana wanted to open the door but her intention was stifled when she heard Aunt Layla talking to someone.

"I know.. I'll be there soon. I'm afraid Ana knows about this.. she will definitely get hurt... hmm... she sleeps in her room with Louis.yeah.it seems they are dating.at least it makes it even better now.." every word Aunt Layla says is not very clear, but Ana can hear a piece after a word even though Aunt Layla has whispered very slowly.

Ana was still trying to think positively and knocked on Aunt Layla's bedroom door, then immediately opened it wide.

"Auntie.." said Ana.

"A.. Anaa.. ka..what are you doing??" ask Aunt Layla to panic.

"I just woke up and wanted to take a headache medicine in the kitchen. I was a little dizzy. Then I saw Aunt's hallway lights on.." Ana replied lying.

He looked around in a mess with his clothes and bags. "why is Aunt's room so messy?? What's with those clothes.does Auntie want to go somewhere??" Ana looks confused.

"A.I wanted to visit my friends at the tea plantation at that time Ana. I miss them so much.." she said nervously.

"Why didn't aunt discuss it with me first?? Sorry to bore Auntie here.I'm sorry I always leave Aunt in the mansion because it's too busy Bi.." exclaimed Ana still trying to think positively of Aunt Layla.

Of course her Aunt felt lonely because she always left him in that magnificent mansion only with servants who were also busy working.

"It's not your fault Ana. You're supposed to work hard. I just want to see a friend.."

"How long will auntie be there?? I'll keep you company.."
