Part 26: Detective Albert

Ana tries to focus on her work. He's trying to get rid of all the distractions from Dominic's mind. During the meeting, he became very sensitive and angry.

"This only??"

"Whose rubbish is this??"

"Who wrote this garbage?"

"Are you just going to spend the company's money without working with a becus??"

"Dispose of this garbage from my desk !!"

Meaning after meaning came out of Ana's mouth during the meeting, even though the ideas and reports from the staff for the new promotion target is not too bad. Usually Ana does cursing, but the mockery usually ends with a speech of encouragement and support for all staff. But this time it ends with a slam of work files and a deadly cold stare from Ana to all the staff.

Currently Ana is checking the work contract file Mr. Kim entered and immediately approached Ana.

"Ms.Grey there's a detective from the police station.they want to ask you about your assault case yesterday.." Mr. Kim seemed hesitant to say that.

"Isn't it taken care of???" Ana asked in a annoyed tone.

"Su.has Ms.Grey but the suspect..."

"I don't want to know that. I told you to take care of it !! And now I have to deal with the police??" Ana cuts off Mr. Kim's unfinished remarks. This time Ana was really angry.

The detective immediately opened the door and leaned his head into Ana's room.

"Hello Ms. Grey I won't be here long." she smiled.

Ana just sighed in annoyance. Mr. Kim gestured for the detective to enter immediately, then Mr. Kim immediately passed out of Ana's room.

"Please sit.." Ana tried to be polite and friendly even though her chest was about to explode with anger.

"I'm sorry to bother you. I'm detective Albert from the S police station.. I just wanted to ask you a few questions, because you can't come to court, so I came here to ask you for your information.."

"Alright." answered Ana briefly.

"OK. I'll just go right away. 'cause you must be really busy right now.." The detective seemed to pull out a little notebook from his jacket.

"Have you heard that the suspect has been killed after a counterattack from you??" The detective asks suddenly disperse Ana's daydream.

"What???"

"Wahhh. You certainly do not know about this. from your expression is very clear you do not know it.." the detective seemed to try to read Ana's shocked and panicked expression.

"I don't know about it. Isn't he okay?" Ana still doesn't think about what happened.

"At first he was fine, but the day after he was arrested, he had a severe infection in his wound.and he had a heart attack and died instantly.."

"...." - ".Ana just fell silent without flinching.

"This case will be closed soon because the prime suspect has been killed.but I just want to make sure of one thing.he gave me this letter an hour before he died.." the detective handed him a letter from a piece of newspaper from his notebook.

Ana immediately grabbed the letter with a curious face.

"Ms.Grey is a monster.he deserves to be punished.He even sent a hitman to finish me off at the hospital while I was still in critical condition.."

"I never did this. He attacked and terrorized me. I even went into a coma because of this problem.."

"I know Ms. Grey, your secretary Mr. Kim has shown you some evidence of cctv and dashboard footage that proves her guilty.. it's not the girl's writing.."

"What do you mean??" You looked at the detective with a cold look.

"I investigated the veracity of this letter with the various handwritten notes of the perpetrator in her apartment. And this writing is much different. I'm sure you're having problems and difficulties at the moment Ms.Grey.. I knew there was something odd about his death." The detective began to explain one by one in detail what he knew.

"Before he was killed, he was in 1 cell with a man, this man had just been arrested after surrendering himself to the police station for murder, but shortly before the girl was killed this man was released and paid bail from others who were not his family, unfortunately at that time the police station cctv suffered damage simultaneously.. I thought you had a little clue about this, so I decided to meet you in person.."

Ana tries to digest every detail of the detective's explanation.

"Well, Dominic did this to get the police to arrest me." Ana thought hard at heart.

"I know you want to tell me something, Ms. Grey, I might be able to help you." The detective seemed to convince Ana.

"I don't want to say anything. I don't know anything about anything, and for sure I'm not trying to send a hit man for him." Ana said firmly.

"Well, I know you're really depressed right now. This is my business card. Call me if you change your mind. I can help you.." the detective put his business card on the table.

Ana just stared at the business card hesitantly.

"Call me whenever you need Ms.Grey.I say goodbye first.good afternoon.." the detective immediately passed out of Ana's room. Leaving Ana still stunned in her daydream.

"One more.." cried Ana stopped the man's steps and turned to Ana.

"I don't trust the police." Ana flatly said.

Albert Hanua smiled faintly and then continued his steps leaving Ana in his room.

"Is it time for me to involve the police?? Ahh no. This will not be possible.." thought Ana agitated and worried with the strange problem at this time. Can not be denied if the condition and the situation is currently very chaotic.

To this day Ana is still staring at the business card she held since yesterday. He's still thinking what he's gonna do to stop Dominic. Tomorrow night they will transact in the harbor. Ana is not sure what they will trade there. Women and children or firearms.

Louis since yesterday looked moody at the shooting location, he was not even focused and several times reprimanded by the producer. Mr. Dong who had been paying attention since yesterday asked for a break for Louis.

"Hey.. What's up? you look so fucked up.." Mr. Dong handed Louis the phone he always held while Louis was working.

"There's nothing. I'm just so tired.." nodded Louis quietly.

"Whatever your problem is, you should always be focused and professional at work.."

"I know.." answered Louis turning off his phone screen.

"Are you waiting for someone to hear from you?" ask Mr. Dong suspiciously.

"No. No. already do not bother me.." exclaimed Louis drove Mr. Dong not to bother him.

"Tomorrow we'll be out of town for a few days.. After shooting make sure you get enough rest.don't forget to take your vitamins.."

"Alright.." nods Louis softly.

He always thought of the words from Ana the other day. After receiving a mysterious phone call Ana turns cold and very cynical to her. He sure didn't make any mistakes. He wanted to contact Ana. But he knew it was very risky, Ana would definitely be really mad at him.
