Part 67: Say No for Wedding

Franz decided to return to L. While Layla is hiding somewhere, the mansion is now abandoned.

When he wanted to buy food stock, the unlimited credit card that Ana gave at that time was blocked, then he checked several other credit cards were also blocked, then he checks his dark bank account which Ana has also cleared along with other Franz's black account.

"Sial*n he was really draining all our possessions.I won't let this.." his grunts growled.

Ana is now enjoying her warm coffee in the office while working on her work documents.

"It looks like your mood is very good Ms. Grey." Mr. Kim smiled.

"Hmm. of course.." Ana smiled fluffily.

"Franz has returned to L country, but Mrs Layla I can not find it. gps her phone is also not tracked, it looks like she turned off her phone." explained Mr. Kim.

"Just let them.at least we've put the money in the right place.It's better to give it to people in need.." Ana is still focused on signing many of her work file documents.

"Oh yeah, just last time you had a meeting Mr. Louis' mother called, wanted to invite you to dinner together at their restaurant.."

"really?? Though I'd rather have dinner at their house. It seems like dinner at the restaurant is common.."

"Well, I'll arrange for dinner at her house.."

"Ah. need not.." annoy Ana quickly. "But.. What if I invited them to dinner in my apartment?? Inviting them to the mansion wouldn't it be very awkward? I'm afraid they're uncomfortable there, plus the current state of the mansion is very dirty.."

"For that I have sent people to take care of Ms.Grey.today the cleaning and maintenance of the mansion has begun.so you do not have to worry.lunch I will go to the mansion to check their work.."

"OK well, thank you Mr. Kim. You are very understanding." praise Ana flattered.

"Then I'll invite them to the apartment tomorrow night.let me call them.."

"Well Ms. Grey.." nodded Mr. Kim understood.

"Come.we'll have dinner together.."

"Sa..me??" Ask Kim in shock.

"Hmm. sure, didn't I say, I think of you as my family.I want us to have dinner together more often.as a family.not as co-workers.."

"All right, I will attend.." Mr. Kim is happy that Ana is now much more comfortable and open with him.

"Come sooner.help me prepare her dinner. hahahahaha.." Ana chuckles.

"Well Ms. Grey.." nodded Mr. Kim with a small laugh.

That day Ana came home early from the office, although Ana still came to the office for work. He had been shopping at the supermarket with Mr. Kim, they rushed to prepare dinner in Ana's apartment.

Previously Ana had cleaned her apartment, she just changed her dining table that was previously minimalist to be larger to fit for many people sitting there, she also added some furniture that is minimalist and simple.

Now the apartment looks very simple but still elegant, because the combination of wall paint is in the color of old ash, light ash and white.

That day Ana and Mr. Kim cooked a lot of food menu, stir-fried meat, fried chicken, grilled fish, vegetable stir-fry, vegetable salad and fruit salad, pickle, pickle, kimchi and dessert are cakes that they buy at the famous cake shop.

After finishing cooking they began to arrange the dining table as neat as possible.

Shortly right at 7 pm Louis family came and warmly welcomed Ana and Mr. Kim.

"Welcome.." welcome Ana warmly.

"Thank you for Ana's invitation, even though we were the ones who wanted to invite you to dinner." said Louis's mother.

"Ah.. I also want to invite you guys.incidentally I just moved here.my previous residence is being renovated.."

"Ohh so it seems.." Louis' mother looked around and was very salute to see Ana's house which was very neat clean and fragrant. "Your apartment is very comfortable." praised Louis' mother in awe.

"Perhaps because I just cleaned up after the hahahaha move.." Ana laughed heartily.

"Even the mansion is amazing, ma'am, no less neat and clean.."

"Because there's a waiter who cleans it.." Ana chimed.

"I'm not surprised.Seeing your independent, assertive and responsible personality you must have a very comfortable place to live." Praise Mother Louis gently.

After looking around Ana immediately let everyone go to the dining table.

"Let's have dinner first." take Ana in kind.

"You've bought some stuff?" Louis asked half a whisper accompanying Ana's steps.

"Hmm.." nodded Ana quickly.

"Of course.."

"Well, you're amazing." praise Louis in admiration.

"That's why I'm so limited edition, I'm a complete package, beautiful, smart, very rich, and independent." Ana boasted.

"There's still nothing lacking." Louis chimed in with a mocking look.

"What?"

"I can't have it." answered Louis briefly.

Ana was wide-eyed and looked at Louis flatly.

"You've always been teasing me." said Ana Ketus.

"You're the one who always thinks I'm hurting you.."

Louis and Ana are unaware of being noticed by the others as they are still standing and arguing with each other.

"Are you not hungry??" Louis' father's timpal resuscitated the two of them and immediately sat across from him at the dinner table.

"Please enjoy.. Mr. Kim is very good at cooking.."

"Ah..no. I'm just helping Ms.Grey out.."

"Cihh. I told you this is a family dinner, why still talk formal.." Ana was upset.

Hearing the family words from Ana's mouth, Louis felt his feelings cool.

"Sorry Ms.Grey.I'm not used to it yet.."

"So talk formal again?"

"Sorry Ana.." added again awkwardly.

"Irene.. How's your job?" Ana opened the conversation after a few minutes they were quietly enjoying dinner.

"My work is very good, sis. now I have learned very much.thank you for helping a lot.."

"I didn't do anything. It's an achievement you did yourself.it's all thanks to your own hard work.."

Irene looked at Ana with her sweet smile. "You helped Irene so much that she aroused Ana's self-confidence.she was usually very insecure.." Louis's father added in thanks.

"I just want him not to waste his extraordinary abilities.."

Louis had only looked at Ana with a warm look. She actually felt homesick, but she was reluctant to say it because Ana would taunt her or ignore her.

"Are you planning on getting married, by the way?" Ask Louis' mother to arrive.

Ana and Louis choked and coughed together.

"Mother.." exclaimed Louis in shock. "Don't ask such personal questions." Louis felt bad for Ana.

"Ma.sorry that I was presumptuous." murmured his mother felt guilty.

"Ah.. It's okay Mom. You can ask me anything.." Ana's bellowed casually.

"So? You have plans to get married? You're old enough and it doesn't hurt to think about marriage.."

"I know. but.." Ana was stunned for a moment. "But I never planned to get married." Ana calmly continued.

Suddenly everyone was shocked to hear Ana's calm and relaxed answer. He still seemed to enjoy the food.

"Ah.. You must have a western-style taste huh?? Living with your partner without marriage??" Guess Louis' mother guessed.

Ana looked to be laughing.

"Of course it's not that. I'm very very very conservative Mom. I never had such thoughts.. especially until you have to get married." explained Ana with a fairly clear affirmation.

Louis's mother and father stared at each other, while Irene remained silent without comment, Louis looked at Ana with disappointment in his heart, while Mr. Kim was just an elegant listener.

"It's a pity.." murmured Louis' mother softly.

"For me, marriage is not an easy thing.Even to establish a relationship for me it is very complicated and will certainly be troublesome.. so I don't want to burden myself with anything else anymore." explained Ana again.

Louis was increasingly disappointed to stop his eating activities.
