Chapter 153: Witness -> Suspect

Ana receives a call from an unknown number, she immediately goes to the basement of the parking lot, she gets into her car immediately before receiving the call.

"Hello.." she replied.

"Ms.grey.. It's me Neo.. I can't see her anytime soon.. Someone is spying on me.. They even tapped my phone.. Please don't look for me.. I'll call you right away if the situation is safe.. Remember that.. Don't trust anyone.. Or you'll die.. Don't tell anyone about me.. I don't want to end up like Leo." Neo sounded so scared and ended his call immediately.

Ana's heart beat fast, even he did not expect if Neo also knew about Leo's death. He believes Neo must know something, and he's in danger right now. However, Ana does not want to be rash, she believes Neo can definitely protect her.

Ana immediately gets a call from Mr. Kim.

"Hello.." answered Ana.

"Where are you? There is something I want to say." cried Mr. Kim firmly.

"I'm in the parking lot.. There's stuff I left in the car.. I'll be there right now." Ana replied lying. Ana gets out of the car. He immediately went to the elevator to go upstairs to Mr. Kim's room.

Ana opens the door to Mr. Kim's room slowly, she walks in casually. Louis and Mr. Dong looked at him with serious gazes.

"What's wrong?" asked Ana calmly.

"You were fired." said Mr. Kim firmly.

Ana who looked puzzled, then immediately gave a small laugh. "What?? You fired me??" tanya Ana repeated Mr. Kim's statement.

"This company does belong to your father, even you still have a small stake here.. But you can no longer afford to, the gods press and urge me to fire you.. They already knew about the news of your colleague's death." explained Mr. Kim seriously made Ana's expression change instantly.

"What do you mean??" ask Ana awkwardly.

"Aren't you watching the news?? Your co-worker, Leo, he was killed.. He was a member of the big mafia in C.. What are you doing Ana ??" asked Mr. Kim, looking disbelieving at him.

"I didn't do anything." Ana nodded firmly.

"But it impacts the company.The stock price drops dramatically in a matter of minutes.. The prosecutor will be here soon to take you.. They want to check you out more.."

Louis and Pak dong looked extremely shocked, even Louis looked at Ana in confusion.

"They're done performing an autopsy, and further examining the case.. And your fingerprints are there.. All over the victim's body where the wound is, even your fingerprints are in the car.."

Ana was stunned, like in a lightning strike in broad daylight. He believes it must be a trap. He could not back down and falter now.

"I didn't kill him !! There is no reason for me to kill him !!" elak Ana shouted loudly.

Mr. Kim's door was open. Looks like a bunch of people came in from there.

"Excuse me.. We from the prosecutor's office want to bring Anavalia Grey's sister to be examined further, at this time her status as a witness is changing to that of a suspect." said a man with a neat stelan.

"I didn't do anything !!" pekik Ana denied.

Louis looked frightened, he was even very worried about Ana.

"Please come with them, Ana.. I'll hire the best lawyer for you.. Everything will be fine." pinta Pak Kim resigned.

"I don't trust anyone !!" said Ana cynically immediately dragged by the police who accompanied the prosecutor.

Ana was taken forcibly to check. He is now a suspect. He doesn't even know what happened to Leo. He doesn't even know why he has his fingerprints on the phone and on Leo's body. Upon arrival at the prosecutor's office, before the examination, the prosecutor confiscated Ana's cell phone. They even seized a gun in his car.

Ana waits alone for quite a long time in a very cold interrogation room. He seems to be losing his mind. He just sat quietly in a chair with his hands in handcuffs.
