Fugitive Woman

Fugitive Woman
Chased Darian

Darian had just arrived at his house when he received a message from Kalila. His heart was in turmoil when he read the message. His mind was scruffy and raging. Darian continued to wonder why Kalila had suddenly sent a message like this.

I'm sorry, but I think I'm gonna have to break my promise to visit you, Ian. I'll pay for the bag you bought for me. Please don't call me again, Ian.

Darian's confused. It felt like he wanted to run straight to Kalila's apartment and ask the purpose of this message. But Darian undoes his intentions. It might be better if he gave a moment for Kalila to think back.

Darian walks into his house and thinks Hanna will be waiting for him in the living room as usual, but strangely tonight Darian does not see his wife there. He didn't even find his wife all over the house.

"Bi, where's Hanna?" Darian asked one of his house assistants.

"The lady left early in the morning and hasn't come home until now. But the madam didn't tell me where to go." Answer the house assistant.

Pucuk loved ulam also arrived. Shortly after inquiring about Hanna's whereabouts, his wife returned home. Darian who saw Hanna enter the house immediately asked his wife.

"Where have you been?" Tanya Darian flat.

"I'm from my friend's house." Hanna replied lying.

The unsuspecting Darian did not even bother even though his wife was lying. Now all Darian had in mind was Kalila. He felt unsettled because the message sent by Kalila earlier and Darian would make sure himself meant by Kalila directly.

The next day, Darian came straight to Kalila's apartment right after she got home from the office. Darian could not linger on continuing to question what really happened to Kalila. He had to know it directly from the woman.

"Calilla? You're inside?" Darian asked as he pressed the bell of Kalila's apartment.

There is no lawfulness.

Darian pressed the bell once more. But same. There was no response from the unit's occupants. The security guard who was guarding Kalila's apartment clearly said that Kalila was in her house. So there should have been someone who opened this door earlier.

Suddenly a sense of worry ambushed Darian's mind. What if something happens to Kalila? This woman lives alone and does not rule out the possibility that she is helpless in her room. Darian immediately requested that Kalila's apartment to give him a spare key so that Darian could enter Kalila's apartment.

"Sorry, Sir. But we can't do it. The key to the apartment is the privacy of the unit occupants." Said one of the employees on duty.

Darian twisted his wits. How did he get into Kalila's apartment? He was very worried about that woman.

"But I am Kalila's fiancee. I'm worried that something's going on with him because he hasn't opened the door since." Darian was lying.

Finally after a discussion with the apartment and security, Darian managed to get a spare key to Kalila's apartment. Of course with a little slick money so they shut up. Darian quickly ran to Kalila's unit again. The door opened and Darian didn't see anyone there. His mind is getting less and less. After a confusing message last night, now Kalila disappeared somewhere.

"Who are you?!" A woman shouted from behind Darian.

Darian knew that voice. Kalila Voice. The woman he's been thinking about lately. Darian turned his head and he saw Kalila standing there. Just use a towel tied to his body.

"Dian? How did you get in?" Kalila did not believe it.

"Ah, I can explain everything, Kalila." Said Darian stammered.

Then Kalila realized that her body was only covered by a short towel. Kalila hurriedly covered her body with her hands and prevented Darian from walking towards her.

"Stop there! Don't come any closer, Ian. I'll change clothes first." Kalila said as she ran into her room.

Darian just laughed at the woman's behavior. It turned out that his panic was an overreaction. Darian thinks something bad happened to Kalila. In fact, Kalila was just taking a bath and did not hear the sound of a bell ringing. Darian laughed at his own actions which made him look like a fool in front of Kalila.

"Stupid you, Darian."

...****************...

"Gosh, Ian. How did you get into my apartment?" Said Kalila while serving a glass of coffee without sugar on Darian.

"How do you know I like coffee without sugar?" Ask Darian curiously.

"really? I don't know, Ian. I just made it like I used to drink. I always drink coffee without sugar." Answer Kalila.

"Geez, I didn't expect that we had so much in common, Kalila." Darian.

"Dan, you haven't answered my question." Kalila reminded Darian.

"Oh yes, I'm sorry. Actually I came here to ask what your message meant last night. But I got worried because you didn't open the door even though I rang the bell many times. I'm sorry if I startle you, Kalila." Darian.

Kalila just nodded while sipping her coffee. Her wet hair was just combed carelessly and made her look very sexy. Darian couldn't even divert his back from the woman. Moreover, after he saw the sight of Kalila just wearing a towel earlier.

"So what did your message mean last night, Kalila? Why can't you see me again?" Darian asked confusedly.

"I'm the one who should ask you, Ian. Why are you lying to me about your status. You said you weren't married, but you weren't." Reply Kalila.

"What do you mean Kalila?" Darian asked Kalila again.

"Your wife came here yesterday. He slapped me hard in the corridor of the apartment. He pointed and accused me of being a destroyer of people's households. How could I know that the man I went with already had a wife? You lied to me, Ian." Say Kalila again.

"He humiliated me in front of every apartment dweller. Accusing me with contemptuous words as if I had taken you away from her. My heart hurts and my pride hurts, Ian." Kalila continued exaggerating the events that actually happened.

Darian. How dare Hanna humiliate Kalila in front of the crowd? Darian's hands clenched with emotion. Kalila saw Darian's expression change and she felt victorious in her heart. The second step almost worked.

"And I promised Hanna I wouldn't see you again, Ian. I can't keep seeing people's husbands." Kalila.

"But why Kalila? Why can't you see me? Hanna has nothing to do with our relationship." Persuade Darian to hope that Kalila changes her mind.

"Because I love you, Ian!" Kalila tried to make Darian understand.

Darian was stunned to hear Kalila's words. On one side his heart surged with excitement as it had already managed to make Kalila love him. And on the other hand, he was afraid that Kalila would really leave him.

"What did you say, Kalila? You love me?" Repeat Darian again.

Kalila nodded. She covered her face with both palms because Kalila did not want Darian to see her cry.

"Yes, I love you. But I can't love a married man, Ian. It will only hurt me because in the end you will definitely choose to go back to your wife." Kalila said while sobbing in tears.

Darian approached Kalila's side. He hugged Kalila tightly. Trying to calm her tears.

"I love you too, Kalila. Even though we've only met a few times, I can't stop thinking about you. You're in my head all the time, Kalila. And I realize I've fallen in love with you too. So please don't leave me, Kalila." Said Darian while looking deeply at Kalila.

"But what about your wife, Ian? I don't want to be humiliated like yesterday. I'd rather hold my love alone than be branded a snatch for a man's husband." Kalila said slowly.

"Don't worry, Kalila. I'll protect you from anyone, even Hanna. Nothing will separate us both. I'll make Hanna accept you anyway." Darian said as he cupped Kalila's face with his hands and looked at the woman's eyes seriously. His thumb wiped the tears that flowed through Kalila's beautiful cheeks.

"really? You promise, Ian?" Ask Kalila.

Darian smiled at Kalila.

"Yes, I promise."

Kalila smiled happily and hugged Darian tightly. As the durian crumbles, Kalila's heart is filled with happiness over her victory. But not because he won over Darian's love. But because the plan both went smoothly.

Oh, Darian. If only you knew that I was your nightmare.
