Chapter 73's

"Oh, so that's the story!" chloe chirps who finally managed to gather one by one her memories of Nine hours ago. He remembered that he was faking a faint— following Midnight's plan. Then, accidentally fell asleep, and woke up inside Midnight's cold room. Actually, Chloe couldn't say that the room she was in belonged to Midnight. But, apparently, this room is devoted to guests who come at once stay at the house of the bespectacled woman.

Now, Chloe's questioning where Midnight is now. There are many things he wants to ask. Yeah, Chloe doesn't want to miss this opportunity. He and his friends have gone so far that they can be reunited with Midnight. The one who knows everything behind this Aura problem.

Before thinking that far away, Chloe once thought of a strange black creature with red eyes. The creature had no mouth and was as tangible as a living liquid. The creature was wearing a black hairy coat. More closed off point.

“If not wrong, his name is Silentwave. Where is he now and is he Aura also the same as Black Aura?” chloe murmured.

"Oh, yes too! Midnight told me to go to the kitchen."

On the second-floor balcony, Midnight looked at the night sky with thousands of snowflakes falling. At a time like this, no one would bother him. After spending half of his energy saving the teenagers, Midnight decided to release his entire tiredness into the sky. He sighed.

“Sepi once.” Said. Then, raise his head up. Look at the beauty of the night sky. Midnight took a chair and sat down. Every time he looked at the night sky, all his beautiful memories came to visit him. Almost all of those memories are closely related to him, Megawave, and his favorite blonde girl. Although strange, silently, Midnight felt envious of the sky. At all times it is accompanied by thousands of races of stars, moons, and Auroras in the northern polar hemisphere.

“Haah... When yes, all these problems are finished?”

As he muttered, there was a Silentwave hand emerging from the sleeve of his jacket. Yes, right now, Midnight is wearing a jacket because the temperature outside is so cold.

Midnight glanced at the black hand, then smiled. “Hmm? You want a donut? Tomorrow how? I am very tired today.” said Midnight as if, he understood with the intention of the hand.

Silentwave brandished his thumb, after which it disappeared. Midnight knew where the Aura was going and she didn't mind it either. Now, he would have to devise yet another plan to kill Legend Aura. He had no intention of finishing off Yuuki because, such an act could have stained his name and his hands. And also, he did not want to be judged the same as Yuuki.

The one who had already broken his heart, his feelings, and his life. Always put forward the word love in order to melt the anger that often dominates Midnight when he met or heard the name of the man.

Enough with his negative thoughts, Midnight turned to something else. “Oh, you've gone, Chloe?” tanya Midnight noticed the presence of someone behind her.

Chloe was grinning wide. Apparently, Midnight can't be fooled by how Chloe walked around just now. “Already. Hmm, what are you doing here?”

Midnight turned around slowly, their positions facing each other and Chloe could clearly see Midnight's appearance from head to toe. Her face was very foreign in Chloe's eyes. But not his voice.

Besides, he doesn't look like a real American.  Chloe thinks Midnight is sweeter than she is. Could it be, that was the reason why Yuuki liked Midnight so much? But isn't it common? Everywhere, people will definitely notice the new look of the trait.

“I'm just looking around. You're feeling distracted huh?”

“Eh?” Chloe turned a short distance. Quickly, the girl denied it. “Ngak. Not that, I just want to thank you.”

“What's the problem?”

“Soal. Thank you, for saving us. Because of your plan, we're happy.” Chloe said then bowed briefly.

“Do not think. That's already my responsibility. Ah, I mean, that doesn't mean I'm a hero! I'm just a regular girl just like you guys.” Midnight blushed in embarrassment as she moved her hands up and down to relieve her embarrassment.

Chloe chuckles, “Don't be ashamed of that. You're great, Midnight. Oh, yep! I was wondering, how did you know we were at the Golden Gate Bridge? Who told you?” chloe asked, she remembered.

Midnight smiles, “From Dark Fire. He said, ‘you guys are dealing with Huke’. Therefore, I quickly checked you and Voila! Meet!”

“Oh, so... Hmm, where is Black Aura?”

“She's in her room. Why?”

“Nothing. Just want to ask how it is?”

“He is fine. The wound has healed. If you want to meet him, go ahead! He's in the last room on the second floor. Get used to knock on the door first yes!” midnight.

“Good...” reply Chloe who secretly felt amazed by Midnight's attentive manner of speaking. Soft voice. The intonation and articulation are stable. Come to think of it, this Midnight looks like the birth mother of Black Aura. Chloe was wondering, was Black Aura really her child?

“Oh, yes! Didn't I tell you to go to the dining room?” Midnight awakens Chloe from her brief daydream.

“Gosh! Sorry, forgot.” Chloe laughed embarrassedly.

“True. But, it'll be ten in a minute. Is it okay?”

“Ngak papa. Relax aja.”

Chloe smiled before finally turning serious. Yes, it was true what Aoi said. Maybe it was time for him to reveal all the questions that were lodged in his head. Some facts and secrets that only Midnight knows as well as, the reason behind his conflict with Yuuki.

Outside the window, the sky above was dark black. It is not clear that there are thousands of stars scattered there. In addition, the snow also fell.

After his unexpected encounter with Midnight, Yuuki becomes frustrated. He threw his body on the comfortable bed. His face was covered with his hands that were drooping limp.

Midnight's face was still on her mind. The face that had made him crazy and always raised millions of expectations. That was the face he wanted to see up close. During this time, Yuuki could only look at Midnight from a distance. Yuuki wondered, when did he get to see Midnight's face up close?

Aware of thinking too much about Midnight, Yuuki decides to get up from her bed, then turns to the dining room for dinner.

After locking the door of her room, Yuuki walked through the dark alleys in her house. The hallway had been deserted for a long time. He lived alone in the house he built. Usually, he spends his solitude with hobbies. This time, however, he chose to continue preparing the ABC to Z plan, to melt the heart of Midnight as cold as the full moon above the poles. Despite the fact, Yuuki never went to the moon.

The resentment that had once controlled him, slowly faded away. Yuuki still did not understand the path of this world. The fact is that her feelings are indeed strong towards Midnight. However, the mistakes of the past make him have to work hard to restore Midnight's trust in him.

Yuuki still remembered his first meeting with Midnight at the cafe. At that time, he was a visitor who had just returned from campus and wanted to spend his favorite novel at the cafe. Not surprisingly, he was even met with Midnight who was then working as a cafe waitress. Yuuki still remembered very well the smile that Midnight had pointed at him. A very sincere smile. Even more sincere than her mother's smile.

What a beautiful memory. Midnight's voice was softly stung. He talked to Midnight in the cafe.

Yuuki chuckles. He recalled that time he and Midnight were discussing about a suitable place to express love. Yuuki deliberately discussed the topic because he wanted to express his feelings to Midnight if the time was right.

Unaware of being too late in his mind, Yuuki accidentally hit the door of his dining room that stood towering upwards. The man reflexed backwards while holding his red nose.

“Constant again?”

Yuuki turned his head slowly to the side and found the figure of Huke standing not far from him. The aura carried a few piles of magazine books that he was about to put back in Emma's room. Coincidentally meeting with Yuuki, Huke immediately confines his intentions. That aura placed the stack of magazines beside the vase of flowers. Then, enter the dining room with Yuuki.

“Iya. Maybe because I'm exhausted. Come, eat!” take Yuuki as if nothing happened. Huke just obeyed Yuuki's words while not contradicting his thoughts.

This is the umpteenth time Huke saw Yuuki's nose reddened by being hit by the door. Well the man was always dumbfounded for no reason which then ended with a brief kiss on the surface of the door. Whatever the door is.

Huke breathed a heavy sigh. He knew what Yuuki was thinking right now. But he chose to shut up.

When pushing the door, the scent of roast meat instantly invaded Yuuki's nose and made the man startled. With a big smile, Emma greeted Yuuki. The woman took off her apron, then gave it to Dark Flower.

“Honey!” welcome him with a warm embrace.

Yuuki was surprised to respond to the embrace of Emma so suddenly. Automatically, Yuuki returned the woman's embrace. They share the warmth and gloom that only a couple of lovers who fell in love just before the end, return to the dinner table and eat the food Emma made for Yuuki and Legend Aura. On average, the dishes she cooked were Yuuki's favorite. It all started with Emma wanting to make Yuuki happy.

“Eh? A lot of you cook,” Yuuki chirped with enthusiastic look.

Emma smiled broadly. “What the hell, that doesn't make you?”

“Ah, yes too! Come on, dinner! I'm sure, Emma's cooking must be better than my mother's.”

“Yuuki! Don't overdo it! After all, your mother's cooking is number one! If I'm number two.”

Yuuki laughing. “Termu's up!” Without waiting for long, Yuuki immediately ate a dinner made by Emma with other Legend Aura. They look happy. Each one, smiling their particular smile. Until without realizing it, someone observed them from behind the door that opened a little. With the phone wiped out, the person typed in a few short messages which he then, he sent directly via chat to his friend across there. The man did not forget to photograph the scene using his cell phone camera. After that, it passed leaving the dining room full of that warmth.
