Chapter 70 (Nine Hour Week Ago)

This afternoon was very boring. After coming to Jacqueline and asking for Midnight's whereabouts, Elena chose to sit quietly in the park chair while looking at the pedestrians passing by in front of her. He sat down while shaking both his legs forward and backward. Sometimes he looks like he is breathing because he is tired.

Personally, Elena felt lonely. He wanted to talk however, on the other hand did not want to involve the people around him. Elena was very confident that her sister would be involved this time.

“Kok can, huh? Perhaps, Yuuki has a bond with fantasy. Though if I think about it, it is very impossible.” He muttered.

Then, he opened his phone. Nothing has changed there. There were only pictures of her and her little sister on the screen and still with the same smile. The photo, he took two years ago when they were still early to come to America. However, the photo was unable to erase his sad expression. His index finger is now switched on the gallery app used to store photos.

Elena opened one of the gallery folders that stored some of her personal photos. She pressed one of the photos of herself that looked so young. The smile Elena carved was extremely sweet. Elena looks very happy embracing a brunette girl with her horse's tail hairband. Apparently, the girl was on good terms with him. The girl is certainly not, her sister.

The days of Junior High were wonderful, yes! Know it? I miss those days. You're the first person who can understand me, my first friend.

A few drops of tears washed over the screen of his phone. Secretly, Elena sobbed. His chest ached every time he remembered the face of the girl he had embraced in the photo. The girl was his first friend. The guy who defended her in the bully. A person who understands everything he likes and wants to plunge into his great imagination. But, the person who always exudes a positive aura even went first.

“If you were here, maybe that freak wouldn't be able to touch me and stress me out.” Elena closed her eyes. It was fun those moments. He seems to want to go back to the past.

Elena sighed as she raised her head upwards. The light the sun emitted was not too strong to get rid of the surrounding cold. Traces of tears on the girl's left cheek look real.

"What is going to do then?"

Elena was stunned for a moment to realize her phone was ringing. There's the name of a man named 'Ethan'. Don't know who or what the man's relationship is with Elena. What was clear, the girl directly picked him up and asked the man's whereabouts without further ado.

"Where are you?" tanyakanya.

"I'm still in the library. I accidentally left my watch here, hehe."

"Don't I care about that watch?! Where is that book you mean? You said you've seen him? What's it say?"

The man across there was silent. Elena guessed that the man was thinking.

"I don't remember the contents. But the book is still the same Chloe. Just then, I was in the hospital again. Until now, I still don't know where they are. I don't know what Chloe's doing either. How're you? Did you really leave your sister to him?"

Elena nodded slowly. "Well, I hope, Chloe can take good care of him. Anyway, it's weird that I keep playing with my underclassman."

“He is an ordinary man and he is in a conscious state. So, there was no way that he was possessed by Aura. The proof, he's working with Huke. They also look familiar.” Jacqueline is currently hiding behind a car with Chloe and Rara.

Rara complained, "When the enemy is one. But really, it's hard to beat. So, is this what their fight is like? Just like in the other world!"

“Do not trap.” Guess Chloe all of a sudden.

“Ha?” jacqueline Sahut.

“Ndon't know too, yeah. I'm just guessing.”

“While I wish, right.” Rara felt defeated because her guess was wrong.

At the same time, Black Aura and Yumi carried out a combo attack. Black Aura teleported behind Huke and Yumi utilizing her ability to outwit Huke's attention. The woman repeatedly throws her bread knife in various directions so that Huke's gaze is fixed entirely on the knives. Huke is neither weak nor strong. What was feared from that Aura was, he was an unfathomable Aura.

“Feel this!” exclaimed the Devil Mask while slashing at Huke with his claw regardless of the damage that Aura was experiencing. Black Aura and Yumi.

The three of them attacked Huke together. The attacks they unleashed were more than enough to defeat Huke. However, due to Huke's extremely high regeneration, his wounds healed faster. Meanwhile, the three Megaville were already feeling exhausted against Huke.

Their energy has been drained a lot. Coupled with their meager rest periods it was impossible for them to pause for a moment and allow themselves to be in danger.

“Restore my brother!” sambar Rara suddenly. “I know you made my brother disappear!”

“Restore Aoi too and don't be that weird again!” added Chloe.

“Aoi is not with us. Anyway, you guys don't interfere! My problem is just them, not you!” yuki who almost lost her patience.

“But they're our friends! Actually, what's your problem?” Jacqueline was the same, almost out of patience.

“Cih, you don't have to interfere napa!” Yuuki rebelled, causing Rara and Jacqueline to be pushed down and fall.

“I'll end it all! After that, I..." Yuuki closed both of his eyes. In his black vision, he saw the figure of Midnight with the warm smile he craved.

Shortly after, he opened both eyes, reaching into his shirt as deep as possible. There was a small book coming out of his pocket.

“This week, there is no longer such thing as Black Aura, Devil Mask, and Yumi!” emphatically. The book he opened.

Black Aura responded quickly to Yuuki's high-pitched speech. Automatically, he saw Yuuki's actions, then looked up. Same with Yumi and the Devil Mask.

“I-that's right.." Devil Mask's words were stuck on the tip of the tongue. Suddenly, he felt something painful in his chest. He glanced to the side. Apparently Huke! Huke's sword tip pierced through the Devil Mask without the knowledge of the masked Aura.

“Bye.” Huke said after that slashing him upwards, then shooting him until the resulting damage could completely cripple his opponent.

The magenta-colored viscous liquid spread to form a puddle. The Devil Mask weakened due to the surprise attack earlier. He fell down and did not move anymore.

“Devil Mask!” cry Jacqueline panic. Eyes glazed.

“Gosh!” yumi had not had time to glance back, the girl had been slashed by Huke to the same fate as the Devil Mask.

“Yumi!!” shouted Jacqueline who was about to chase after Huke to avenge Aura's attack. However, he is detained by Rara not to approach Huke.

Fortunately, the last Black Aura. With his ability to move pain, he immediately transferred the Devil Mask and Yumi's pain to Huke. How surprised Huke was with that ability. The wounds that the Devil Mask and Yumi had, he now felt for himself.

“I forgot.” Huke turned towards Black Aura. His face is very flat. The aura had yet to show any reaction of surprise or fear. It was as if he had no soul so he could not feel the name of fear.

On Yuuki's side, the man smirked as Huke successfully distracted Black Aura and the others. Now, it's time for him to go into action with a book that doesn't know what it's called. The book was glowing when it opened its middle page. Yuuki scratched his palm, then smeared his hand on the sheets of the book.

Realizing that there was a light behind her, Rara looked back. The girl was wide-eyed to find Yuuki acting strangely with the book she was holding. The man said a few words. Unfortunately, Rara's ears weren't too focused on spelling out what the man was saying.

“Oi! What are you doing?!” Rara ran towards Yuuki in a hurry.

“Eh? Rara!” Chloe's coming after him. “A-what is it?” just as Rara is curious about the booklet, Chloe finally changes her mind and chooses to stop Yuuki's actions. Chloe doesn't want anything bad to happen to her Auranya friends.

“Shadows under footing, flowers falling on his crown, bonfires extinguished, turbid waters, victories not for the strong…” Yuuki mentioned a few sentences that seemed to have nothing to do with the current events.

Annoyed by the words, Rara and Chloe jump in to prevent Yuuki from doing anything strange.

“Enough!” grub Chloe.

Yuuki fell, dragged quite far back. “Cih! Late!”

“What?”

Those “late” words sounded all the way to where Black Aura was fighting against Huke. Black Aura was stunned. He turned his head towards Yuuki who was grinning towards him while saying, “Goodbye, Carmine.”

“Hah?”

In a split second, the ground Yuuki was poking on was giving off a strange symbol. Chloe, who had been holding Yuuki back, chose to dodge. The symbol forms a circle. Then, the circle branched out and gave birth to five other small circles. From that circle, came several figures that resembled people yet, equipped with weapons.

“Hand ogre?” Chloe mutters. He froze in place. Like deja vu. I don't know where or when he saw the gun. Not only ogre, a sword covered in fire, a short blonde girl with a long jacket that has a liquid texture like water. Those guys seem to have Chloe seen. But, where?

“Hahahaha! Nah! How do you fight all these feelings? They were all reborn. They are also certainly stronger than ever.” Yuuki's voice was accompanied by a big smile.

"Oh, no." Yumi tried to wake up even though she was still in pain.

"They're alive again?" The Devil Mask returned to prepare his claw after swallowing his doubts deeply.

No one could avoid the sight in front of them. What they were doing at the moment, could only grimace in their doubts. The wind they felt was not very healthy for their bodies.

Yui, Dark Sport, Dark Dlower, Dark Fire, Aurora and Dark Shadow. They all stood up with smiles of grin that they snorted.
