Chapter 176 {Season 2: Risk}

After five minutes of freezing while listening to a lecture from Midnight, Chloe, Jacqueline, and Okka finally released Midnight to cook dinner. This afternoon is getting darker and the night sky is about to take over the world.

Midnight opens the door to her familiar kitchen while having a light conversation about the cookware and the ingredients the three girls can use to cook. Indeed, all the ingredients and cooking equipment are complete, only, there are some of the objects that belong to her late husband. Had one of his items broken out, the third world war would have finally exploded.

“So, guys.. Here I only allow you to use the cookware that I have provided on the table. Materials too. Our dinner theme today is seafood. You've all eaten or cooked seafood, right?” midnight asked just to ascertain which of the three girls might be reliable for cooking with her tonight.

“I ever!” Chloe raised her hand. Followed by Okka.

While Jacqueline just grinned wide while saying, “I made the drink ya!”

Midnight smiled. Then, the woman walked slowly toward the six dishes on which there was a large tuna. He palpated the tuna while smelling the fishy smell of the fish.

“As far as you want what this tuna is. Want to be sushi, sashimi, or baked. The point is, the cooking is easy for all three of you. Btw, I'm going first! I'm sorry, I can't help you cook because I've got some important business with Megawave. Bye!” pamit Midnight at the end with the kitchen door closed very hard in front of them all. His vibration nearly dropped the glass bowl standing on the edge of the table.

“Say to escape..” Jacqueline sneer a few minutes later Midnight's footsteps sound more faint in her ears.

“Hush! Not polite with the lecturer!” chloe's assault who didn't agree with Jacqueline's words just now.

Unlike Jacqueline, Okka chose to cook directly. With a tutorial on cooking on youtube, the girl began to practice the way people who were in the video how to make sushi.

From the first minute to the end, Okka follows all the steps the person shows.

Satisfied with their trivial debate, Chloe and Jacqueline immediately stop the useless action when their views are accidentally turned towards Okka who seems to be enjoying her activities at the time. Okka while rolling the sushi, Okka's gaze unintentionally glanced towards Jacqueline and Chloe who was not expected to notice her busyness in silence.

Hurry up, Chloe and Jacqueline help Okka. The two of them did not even need to discuss an hour to share the task. Each of them already knew their duty in cooking the tuna in order to be a decent dinner for them to eat together.

While washing the fish, suddenly, Chloe was exposed to the flat face of Black Aura. Only now, his heart missed the Aura.

Chloe's hand stopped instantly. He kept quiet while stringing together dozens of ways he would use to start a conversation with the girlfriend. The whole day is ignored because of Ethan's presence. And finally, Chloe regretted that she had repeated the mistake that others made.

Chloe hates to be ignored, well that's a fact. However, without realizing it, he actually did the thing he hated so much.

“Hah... Focus, Chloe! You must cook a good meal for Black Aura! Must!” hard on himself.

Feeling that the tuna she was washing was clean, Chloe turned to the dinner table and gave up the tuna on Okka. Okka is in charge of rolling sushi. Jacqueline was in charge of making drinks. Just like the girl said before.

“What do you drink, Line?” okka pleasantries so that the atmosphere around him is not so stiff because, almost five minutes more none of them open their voice.

“What, huh? You're all cold, aren't you? This afternoon, we went swimming. How about a ginger drink?” jacqueline.

“But don't forget to give sugar! If I forget, I'll throw the ginger in your face. Let me know the taste,” Okka teacher ended with his ignorant laughter.

Hearing Okka's joke earlier, Chloe could only respond to it with a wiggle of her head and a small laugh. He had not expected that Okka and Jacqueline would be this close. Okka is Chloe's favorite youtuber. Honestly speaking, Chloe is very happy to be able to get together with people like them.

“Hello, Ao! What do you want to drink? Cold or hot?”

Across there, Aoi replied to Chloe's question. “Cold.”

“The guy asked for a cold,” reports Chloe, after that directly turn off his call with Aoi.

“OK!”

Without a second thought, Jacqueline immediately picked up a bowl of ice cubes on the table. Then, pour it into a teapot followed by orange-flavored syrup.

“Ready!”

“Sushi is too!”  timpal Okka, showing his plate that has been filled with dozens of sushi results from his hard work with Chloe.

“So, this ritual you chose has two risks and you have to choose one of them,” Megawave said, closing the ritual book he found on one of the reading shelves in the Midnight library.

From the outside, Midnight stepped over to Megawave who was sitting on a reading chair. Midnight sat beside him, pulling the old book. He reopened the book and read the contents of the page Megawave meant.

“There are two huh? First, the Aura that reincarnated into another person would return to its original form. However, his memory while he was a human vanished without a trace. Midnight replied to Aura's comment with a smile.  “Tomorrow, will you help me?”
