Chapter 49's

"Devil Mask, where are you?" ask the person behind the phone.

"In the woods. I'm looking for Aura and Chloe. Why call?"

"I'm worried about you."

"Don't worry about me. I'm fine here." Reply warm Devil Mask.

The person across there sighed heavily. "Be careful... Aoi a few minutes ago came out. Meanwhile, Chloe hasn't been back since morning."

"I know that... If Chloe wasn't around, Aura would have been with Chloe. I'll catch up with both. Stay home and not go anywhere. I think the situation is strange when viewed from my feelings." Reply to the Devil Mask together with his breath. He turned his eyes to the night sky. It felt like something was wrong, had just happened.

"My feelings too."

"I'll go on again, yeah..."

"Yes. Take care of yourself there."

"You too."

Their connection was finally severed after Devil Mask pressed the red-colored icon on his phone screen. He keeps his cell phone in his pocket and steps back in search of Chloe, Black Aura, and Aoi.

During the run, the Devil Mask's mind was very full. It all has to do with his feelings. Remembering a few minutes ago when he was eating a plate of donuts alone.

It's so weird tonight. When I eat donuts, I still feel bad. What the fuck is malan?!

The grass and the snow were glued on without any guilt.

"That's weird. Usually not this long. Don't tell me that..." While muttering, the Devil Mask braked his feet. Finally, the Devil Mask made it out of the forest.

Without a second thought, he activated the portal to the port. He was a little helped by the Map application that had been installed a few minutes ago.

"Oof... It's cold." Mumbled.

Immediately he jumped through the portal and ran towards the sea. Since he was not human and he did not like getting wet, the Devil Mask had already trained himself to be able to run on water. There was no special tool on the soles of his shoes.

"Hm? Is there a Black Aura here? No, there's two." While running, the Devil Mask got one answer regarding the whereabouts of Black Aura. Bonus for him who feels the existence of another Aura. Certainly not from his family.

There will likely be a fight there. The Devil Mask immediately prepared his long scratches.

When she opens her eyes, Chloe finds herself above a vast ocean. The ocean is calm. Above the sea was a blue sky with clouds gathering peacefully. For a moment, Chloe felt stunned by the beauty and serenity.

“Beautiful once.” The compliment.

Chloe set her foot forward and walked. His head glanced around him. This calmness made Chloe wonder where she was at the moment.  As his shoes retraced the water, they rippled. There seems to be no life down there. Freely she danced. Jumping and walking small accompanied by his little bitterness.

His heart melded with that atmosphere. “Wah, this world is truly coveted! About where is this? why am I the only one here?” chloe thought that shortly afterwards even dissolved in the silence of the sea. A few strands of his blonde hair were clearly painted along with the smile he was sincerely engraving.

After getting tired of dancing on, Chloe threw herself down and produced a few splashes of water that soaked her back. He breathed lightly and was full of relief. For some reason, his feelings felt very wide. He seems to have no burden.

Chloe placed her hand over her chest just where her heart was beating steadily. Like having just been reborn or new in spite of a life of conflict.

“The sky above is completely blue. Aoi would have liked it. This silent atmosphere, I might be able to make it a place to play with Jacqueline. Away from the crowd and if you want gosipin people will not know. Hihi!” chloe said without taking her eyes off the blue.

As he was caught in satisfaction, his left tear dripped out of his will. Chloe quickly realized the strangeness. He got up and rubbed it.

“Where did these tears come from? Though, my feelings are very calm.”Mumbled.

Chloe then pulled both of her cheeks, slapped, and patted her eel. Nothing happened.

I thought it was a dream. It seems real, anyway. But what is this place? who brought me here? It wasn't like I was on the boat and talking to Black…

“You awake?” the voice of a woman made Chloe turn her head.

Chloe's wide-eyed. He thought, only he was the one occupying this place. Apparently, there's still someone else.

A girl with a height of approximately 195, green graded purple hair that decomposes long but drifting. The girl showed five pairs of long fingers, heels that made her height look excessive. She was wearing an armor whose bottom resembled her dark-colored dress the night sky was full of stars.

He grinned accompanied by several knives hovering above his right hand. “New first time there is a conscious human while being controlled by Aura.”

“You who? This where? What are you doing, damn me?!” chloe actually felt scared.

"You're angry but you're scared on the other side. By the way, how are you feeling this time?"

"My feelings? Less work time, anyway! The question has to be answered dong! Don't answer questions again! What school is it?!" Because she was consumed by emotions, Chloe became difficult to control. His face turned a dead red accompanied by an irregular roar of breath. Like jogging in the morning.

"Good... Substantial. Question number one, who am I?" she repeated Chloe's words just that her subject was changed from 'you' to 'me'. The aura grinned broadly showing off its sharp teeth.

"Haihihah... Alright. Do you remember the first time you met Black Aura?"

"Hmmm... Still am. If I'm not mistaken, I met him in the woods."

"Before you met Black Aura, you've already met me, Chloe." He chuckles amusedly after seeing Chloe's surprised reaction. "You remember? Back then, I was in a man's body being cut like a cake by your loved ones, Chloe." He seemed to enjoy repeating the flashback.

"Ah, yes! You were after me with your fucking knife, right?! Uh... WHAT'S?! You know where I'm from..." Chloe was astonished and embarrassed by the words of Aura.

"Sufufuf... When you daydream either out of awe or fear, I take the opportunity to move into your body. After that incident, I was in your subconscious and learned a lot." His speech.

"You're a plain girl. But, your grudge is so thick. Who do you have a grudge with, anyway? Black Aura too. You two are a good fit!"

His blood travels up to the crown. Not because of anger. Except, because of shame. The secret that he had been trying to keep was even discovered by others.

And again, something strange came to pass and made her shy feelings turn into emotions.

"You're saying, you're getting into my subconscious? Mean... This quiet world..."

"If you've had five days, you'll be one of us. You're gonna be a great Aura and kill all those ruthless Megaviles."

"What?! Then, I fell asleep and you're controlling my body out there?"

"Yup! Before that, my name was Aurora. I like you, Chloe. That deep grudge of yours I can use against Black Aura. Oh, yep! That aura is now dying! His intention is to save you. But... You seem to have the same feeling. Therefore, Black Aura was unable to hurt you." Aurora.

Chloe auto stunned to hear Aurora's explanation.

"I am combining my strength, your physique, and your grudges. Of all the Auras, only I can do it. Hence, Black Aura instantly lost balance even if it was only once tin..."

The girl jumped high and both her legs landed hard hitting Aurora's face.

"EAT THIS!" It is Chloe's wrath that then kicks Aurora's chin.

"Ughh! The attack was similar to the one I used before."

Behind Aurora, Chloe was already there and had prepared another fist. At first glance, Aurora caught some water droplets coming from Chloe's eyes.

"HOW DARE...!"

Chloe punched hard on Aurora's back with her emotions.

"Curtain!" Aurora immediately pulled out her spear. Then he stuck into the water and he stopped drifting continuously.

In the distance, Chloe lowered her head with her hands clenched tightly. His fist left a red blood patch. Not hers but Aurora.

He combined everything within me including my grudges. That means, Aura who is exposed to attacks from humans will get considerable damage than fellow Aura. And the current Black Aura...

"Oi! I can read your heart, lo! Are you curious about Black Aura? Okay, I saw a crack in his cheek. A cracked aura usually won't last long."

Chloe jerks. "You killed him using me?"

Aurora flicked her finger. "Yes! Now, you're in danger Chloe. Black Aura is dead and you're one of us. Hihihi!"

Fist hardens.

"You want revenge? Just try! After all, our levels are different too."

When Aurora was next to Chloe and kicked the girl. He also issued many sharp weapons such as knives, axes, and katanas.

As her hand swung towards her opponent, her weapon automatically chased after Chloe.

There were two knives that managed to scratch Chloe's cheek and hand.

"cheat!" Chloe yelled annoyed. He braked so as not to distance and gathered all his strength at his feet then, leaping as high as possible. The knife he had snatched earlier was still with him.

Chloe landed right in front of Aurora. At that time, everything was like slow motion.

Chloe stuck the tip of the knife in Aurora's shoulder. Then, he thrust upwards to create a slash that imprinted on his shoulder all the way to his face.

Not to be outdone, Aurora pulled out a spear and stabbed Chloe's shoulder so that her fate was the same as it was.

Chloe's movements slowed down because of the pain. Aurora took the opportunity to attack again. She strangles Chloe and slams the girl above the calm sea level.

"The atmosphere..." Aurora's murmur was accompanied by a long grin. He seemed to be enjoying his second fight. Not only that, Aurora gave another after-attack. Taking her hand off Chloe's neck, pulling her leg, then throwing the girl as far away as possible.

Chloe slammed while enduring the pain. He could not escape shadowing how dying Aura was out there. He did not think of himself being injured at this moment. What flashed through his mind was how he hurt and beat up Black Aura.

Chloe slammed her fist into the innocent water. Fortunately, the water did not protest because it had been the target of the girl's anger.

I shouldn't have asked him to accompany me today!

"You're sorry? Sadly... More precisely, 'I shouldn't have met him that night." Error Aurora without permission to read Chloe's heart.

The ocean was stained with Chloe's blood. Now, Chloe is confused as to what to do. He thought defeating Aura like Aurora was easy because he was human.

Aurora is back on the move. This time, he used his axe and was about to point towards Chloe's neck. Fortunately, Chloe immediately realized the existence of Aurora from the reflection of water.

Chloe jumped away from Aurora. Is correct. If I stay here, I'll just trouble him.

"Oh, yeah... Aurora."

Aurora flicked her steps "What?"

"It's not good that people feel good about killing their loved ones." Chloe. His voice vibrates.

Suddenly, Aurora receives Chloe's fist for the third time. The aura was thrown far away. Already thrown, he is still being chased by Chloe.

Now, their faces cross directly. That's when Chloe began to express her anger.

"DON'T JUST TAKE MY REVENGE ON THE PEOPLE I LOVE, YOU CRAZY SHIT!" chloe cried tears.

The girl made Aurora look amazing. Not because of his voice that made the sea rage but rather, the still intact Black Aura sword was in his grasp directly.

"Please, don't make me lose it a second time." His speech was simultaneously with the Black Aura sword slashing at Aurora's slash.

Aurora's blood that was supposed to be purple turned red because of the slash Chloe laid on her.

"If he leaves, the memories I make with him will only hurt me every time I remember him." He continued to close both his eyes. Letting himself be wet with Aurora's blood.

The ocean and sky were broken together with the Aurora that disappeared.

That bright blue crack turned into a night. Chloe slowly opened both eyes. Apparently, the conflict he had been through since this morning ended at eleven p.m.

"Thank God... It's all over." Mumbled tired.

Her blue iris saw the fact that she was now hugging the still silent Black Aura.

"I'm home... Black Aura's." His voice vibrates.

Her tears are flowing again. "Sorry, make you wait..." Further. He strengthened his embrace so that the Aura felt warm to be near him.
