Chapter 197 {Season 2: Happy}

Edward opened his eyes after nearly an hour of unconsciousness. When she opened her eyes, she was immediately greeted by Chloe who was staring seriously at her. Beside the girl there was also a Black Aura with a number of bandages and hansaplast on her right cheek.

“Uhm... Chloe?” Edward muttered in wonder. Chloe's face that she saw was a little blurry because she had fainted for too long.

Edward glanced around where the visitors did their activities such as shopping, looking at the goods sold in each store, and eating at the restaurant with the people closest to them. Fortunately, no one noticed that he was quite chaotic after the fierce fight against Huke earlier.

Right beside him, his mother who he thought was dead, apparently still breathing and just sleeping tired— leaned on his right shoulder.

“Iya..Today It was just your dream aja,” said Black Aura lied. While Chloe was standing next to him, she seemed reluctant to talk to Edward. His intent of wanting revenge faded quickly.

Chloe changes her mind and decides to leave Edward with her mother.

Black Aura frowned at Chloe's listless face. Strange, where's all that spirit? Wasn't he excited to take his revenge while Edward was in front of him?

The two teenagers stepped out of the mall. No matter how uncomfortable some of the visitors are with Chloe's footsteps, staying away is the main thing Chloe has to do now.

As usual, Chloe's mind was always changing rapidly. Not that he was afraid of confronting and arguing with his stepmother, but rather, he did not want to be publicly humiliated and also,,, made Black Aura involved.

“Aura... Rather than my world problem, I prefer to deal with the problems that exist in your world,” Chloe said at the cafe. Yes, before, he and Black Aura had been confused about where to go to avoid Chloe from her stepfamily. Fortunately, the idea came to Black Aura's mind and without a second thought, Black Aura opened the portal and took Chloe to the cafe she used to visit with Aoi.

“Why? Isn't it that dealing with my problems not necessarily you can be eternal?” reply Black Aura full of question marks.

Chloe took a slow breath, “True the hell. Play the sword and its benefits, we can be strong.”

“That's it, I agree. So, how's your next move?”

“Hm, I will stay away, stay away, and stay away. Enough past hurt,” said Chloe ended with a smile.

“Then, what about your father? I heard, he missed you,” asked Black Aura again.

Well, after a tiring day, the two teenagers discussed about the tourist attractions they will visit later.

The smile and warm atmosphere they emitted, from a distance made Aoi who was accidentally passing in front of the cafe smile. Together with her lover, Jacqueline, she silently watched Chloe who was enthusiastic about explaining what kind of tourist attractions they would visit.

“Dia... Happy yes!” jacqueline chirps surprised Aoi who even daydreamed when she looked at her best friend across from Sana—di in the cafe.
