Chapter 130 {Season 2: Truth/Secret}

The sound of someone's footprints rang out in the middle of a quiet night and no one passed by there. There are so many buildings such as minimarkets, flower shops, cake shops lined up on the outskirts of the road. Everything's empty. But, the fear as well as the cold sweat that flowed on his face was increasing.

The man who was walking quickly constantly looked back. He was being played by the terrifying shadow on his head. It was like someone was stalking him from behind but there really wasn't. Or maybe, there is a stalker but the form is transparent.

His breathing roar hunted until he could finally stabilize it by hiding inside the restaurant that had been abandoned for a long time. He hid under the table and covered his ears with his hands.

During the journey to find his friend, the man was lost in a city in Carnater that even himself did not know where to go back to the mansion where his friend lived.

Ethan repeatedly controlled his breathing until finally, he could feel the slight calmness he was waiting for each night. Every time he lay in bed imagining the figure of the woman he loved. The woman was not with him but somewhere and was dealing with something heavy.

Despite having to get lost and feeling chased by someone, Ethan has no regrets about his decision to help Midnight. He was sure, Midnight would not forget him let alone his other friends. At the thought of Midnight, she was somehow distracted by the blond girl with her excessive obsession with fantasy.

The series of memories of her with Chloe keeps Ethan trapped in a longing that torments her. The man is eager to go back to his time having fun with Chloe though not for long. They both have the same liking. Chloe is also a good listener. He was also fun to joke with.

Chloe and Midnight are both different but interesting in their own ways. Their background is still mysterious. Ethan has no idea what Midnight's past is like. She also wants to get to know Chloe even further by knowing what the girl likes and the girl hates.

Ethan is stunned for a moment when he remembers the existence of Black Aura who is always beside Chloe. That aura... About how is it now?

Ethan doesn't quite remember the way Black Aura saved him from Dark Sport, however, Ethan remembers Black Aura's fierce fight against the Three Dark Brothers.

“Hahh. If I recall, my meeting with Chloe was simple. At the krispi chicken restaurant and we discussed the psychopathic game. Hahaha. Hmm, my meeting with Midnight.I and Elena were new kids at Japanese High School. Our Japanese is still messed up but Midnight understands what we say. Ah, the stock box! I dropped the box!” Ethan chuckles. For a long time, spread his laughter. It's a shame for him to drop the stock of someone he doesn't recognize. Worse, the person was in his class.

His tongue needs food or drink with a good taste for his tongue.

“The fridge... Similar to the one humans have,” Ethan said finding a refrigerator at the end of the kitchen. The outside looks dusty. Hopefully, the dust does not get into the refrigerator and stain the food.

Ethan opens the refrigerator door which fortunately is not locked as much as his real-world possessions. Inside were some fruits that looked still fresh yet, their appearance was a little strange.

“What fruit is this?” ethan's mumbling.

“Hey, you!” the voice of a successful girl draws Ethan's attention.

A wolf-eared girl was standing in the doorway of the restaurant. Green hair and three wolf tails swayed gently swept away by the wind. The green hoodie and the black and white skirt above the knee made it look like an ordinary High School girl. The girl showed a suspicious look at Ethan.

“What are you doing here? You're human, aren't you?”

“Iya?” Ethan doubts. Moreover, he was alone and there was no Aura accompanying him. She was sure, The wolf girl was not from the Black Aura group but rather another group like Lady Asoka one of them.

“Come! Dangerous here. You can't roam around freely here,” he said as he waited for Ethan to move from the fridge to the doorway where he stood. The girl glanced at a glance at her watch which showed it at 11:32.

Hesitating, Ethan walked over to the wolf girl. He was reluctant to touch the girl even looking at her face directly.

“My name is Jean. I'm not here to hunt but to take you back to your world,” Jean said. He thrust out his hand as a form of brief introduction.

Ethan shakes Aura's hand while introducing himself, “Ethan. I'm not actually here to bother you. I'm looking for my friend, Midnight.”

“Midnight? Oh, so you're his friend. If so, you come with me. Likely, Megawave knew where Midnight was. Thankfully, my emotions are stable now. But, not with the others. There are still some Auras that controlled their sanity by humans who came to our place,” explains Jean. Caught a bit of a worried look from that flat face of his.

“So yeah? If so, you mean on the good side right? Please work together!”

Chloe sipped the coffee. “Morning is good for coffee. Oh, yep! All of you, eat this!” Chloe handed me a plate of potatoes that Midnight actually bought hours ago in the real world.

Okka and Kenzo took it with a crooked face. “Fries huh? If not wrong, there are our fans who like to eat french fries. He's a boy and his age is also on par with you guys.”

Chloe's eyes immediately widened out of curiosity. The girl enthusiastically moved her sitting position closer to the two youtubers. Similarly, Aoi and Jacqueline who joined mingling while dragging a plate containing french fries. Midnight did not participate because she was busy cooking. Black Aura actually wanted to join the teenagers but, hindered by the topic they discussed.

“Omong-by the way, who is that man?” sambar Jacqueline without thinking about Aoi who was about to ask. Fortunately, the question Aoi wanted to ask was the same as Jacqueline.

“Ah, I forgot his name. The point is, he's a good guy. Unfortunately, he died trying to protect us from the blond girl. I remember the guy had a fight with the blonde girl in front of the cafe where we had lunch.”

“If you don't hear wrong, his girlfriend's name is Emma,” Okka said continuing Kenzo's story.

Instantly, all their attention was diverted to Okka who had just mentioned the name of a girl whom they had suspected to be an enemy other than Legend Aura. Emma. Until now, the woman had not shown her evil actions in front of them.

“Emma caught wet being friendly with another man whose name is Yuuki. Americans and Japanese are dating. Cool anyway,” said Kenzo.

“Keren from where?” comment Midnight suddenly. “They are not much different from parasites. They live only to harm others! Like me and that guy, for example. I'm sure the man died trying to save you who were held hostage by Emma and Legend Aura, right?”

Kenzo and Okka are shocked to hear Midnight's guesses that are either coincidental or how similar to the reality they were experiencing back then. Then, the two of them nodded as proof that what Midnight said was true.

“We were then moved to a quiet place. Far from the crowd. Behind that building. Then, came two Auras and one of them opened a portal. We want to get it into that portal. But the man who tried to save us was killed in an Aura shoot called Huke. He died and it was our fault for being weak. We were pushed into the Carnater and chased by the crazy Aura. Okka closed her eyes. The long-lost guilt has finally returned. He also imagined how panicked he and Kenzo were when chased by Aura who looked like they were eyeing their hearts. “So sad people are joking! How the hell?!”

“Actually, it makes sense that Chloe is crying. Because the one who died was his brother and the one who killed his brother was Emma and Huke.
