Falling In Love With Drunk
Episode 7's
Arriving at the apartment, Alfred immediately packed up some of the items he would carry away out of town. Don't forget that Alfred called Lily before he left.
“Hallo Lily, I'm done packing. I have to leave early tomorrow morning. Take good care of yourself when I'm not here.”
“Alright Alfred, take care of yourself too. I'll wait for you back.”
“I'll be home for the weekend, we meet again later.” said Alfred then hung up and left immediately.
Lily went to work as usual. He came early because he wanted to see Lucas.
“Hai Lucas.” greet Lily
“Oh hi Lily, why did you come this afternoon?”
“Iya I accidentally came early because I wanted to talk to you?”
“Speaking about what?”
“I just want to apologize about yesterday, you and Alfred fought like that.”
“Forget it, you don't have to apologize. Anyway it wasn't your fault.”
Lily and Lucas then continued their conversation.
“Hallo Liz, what's up calling?” said Alfred.
“Hallo brother sorry to interrupt for a moment, I just wanted to let you know that Dad and Mom are going home later tonight. After from out of town, you go home.”
“All right I understand, see you later.” said Alfred then hung up.
Alfred's parents were successful businessmen in the property sector. Daniel and Jennifer Hernandez. They often travel abroad to meet some clients. They will come after a business trip from Paris.
The night …
Daniel and Jennifer have arrived at their home. Elizabeth welcomed her parents. Elizabeth and Alfred rarely meet their parents because they are always busy and often abroad.
“Where is your brother, Liz” asked Daniel.
“Sister is in his apartment tomorrow he has to go out of town because there are some jobs. But I've already told you if Mom and Dad are coming.” explained Elizabeth.
“Alright then, Father and Mother rest first. We are very tired.” Daniel said
The time has shown at 12 p.m. Lily and her friends are getting ready to go home. Lily sent Alfred a message.
“I'm done working. I miss you.” wrote Lily.
Lily then went home with David.
Arriving at home, Lily checks her phone but there is no reply to a message from Alfred. Lily is still trying to think positively.
“Ah maybe Alfred is busy or maybe he is asleep because he has to go early in the morning.” Lily murmured.
Lily looked at her father who was sitting in the backyard.
“What's dad doing there, why haven't you slept?”
“Dad can't sleep Lily. You just got home?”
“Yes Dad, I just came. What are you thinking?”
“About the man you told Dad about, what's his name? Dad forgot.”
“Name Alfred, why Daddy?”
“Alfred's a polite boy, but you said he was a heavy drunk?”
“Dad don't think too much about that. Alfred's a good man so Dad doesn't have to worry.”
“How can you not think about it? You're our only child! Dad wants you to get a good partner.” snapped Andy in an angry tone and then left Lily.
Lily was silent because her father was snapping at her. Lily went into her room after that. In the room Lily cried sadly. On the one hand, Lily is so respectful and loving to her parents. But on the other hand he also loved Alfred very much.
Lily checked her phone again, but Alfred did not return the message. Lily finally blocked Alfred's phone number.
4 It went by so quickly …
This morning Lily plans to go with her friends to the festival.
“Mother, I will go with David and other friends.” Lily said
“Where are you going?” ask Gwen
“We're going to the festival, I want to buy you something?”
“No need Lily, you go have fun.”
“Mother, is Dad still mad at me?”
“Mom doesn't know. You try talking to your dad.”
“Dad won't talk to me these few days, I'm confused.”
“You rest easy Lily, I'll talk to your dad later. Alfred hasn't been seen lately, where is he?”
“Alfred went out of town because there was a job, I also did not talk to him these few days.”
“What's really why? You got a problem with him?”
“No Mom, I just don't know what to do. My father banned my relationship with Alfred. I'm so confused.”
“You've gone first with your friends, let Mom talk to your dad.”
“Alright Mom, I go first.”
“Be careful Lily, take good care of yourself.”
Lily then went to the festival with her friends. There Lily release her fatigue by riding a roller coaster ride along with her friends.
“It feels like almost died huh hahaha” joked Lily with her friends.
“How about we go looking for gulali, it looks like I saw someone selling gulali near the trampoline.” invite Lily.
After buying the gulali, Lily and her friends look for a seat to enjoy the gulali they just bought.
While engrossed in eating gulali, Lily saw a figure that was not foreign to her. After the group approached, it was true that Alfred was with his friends. Alfred was seen embracing a woman while walking towards Lily who was sitting.
Alfred who heard his name called tried to find out who called his name. Alfred was surprised to see Lily there as well.
Instantly Alfred removed his hand from the shoulder of the woman with him and then pulled Lily's hand.
“What are you doing here?” ask Alfred.
“What do you think if people go here for?” answer Lily with a sniff.
“Where's your phone? Why can't you be contacted?” ask Alfred with a snarl.
“You think it yourself!”
“You are nothing!”
Angrily Alfred grabs Lily's bag and searches for Lily's phone. Alfred slammed Lily's cell phone into a crumble.
Lily immediately watched her phone being tampered with by Alfred. With trembling hands, Lily picked up her already destroyed phone. Without saying a word Lily ran to the exit and took a taxi to get home.
During the trip Lily kept staring at her ruined phone. Lily did not think through Alfred's treatment of her. Unknowingly, Lily's tears dripped down her cheeks.
“Nona, are you okay?” ask the taxi driver.
“Hmmm I'm fine. You just drive.” replied Lily.
When she got home, Lily went straight to her room and locked the door. Lily lay on her bed and covered her face with a blanket. Lily was crying under the blanket.
“Why is he so brave to me. What was wrong with me to her?” inner Lily.
In between her cries, Lily heard her bedroom door on tap.
“Lily, are you inside?” ask Gwen.
“Iya Mom, what's up?” answer Lily
“Come out, Alfred is out to meet you.”
“Please Mom tell him I don't want to see him.”
“What's with you two?”
“Nothing Mom, please leave me alone first.”
Gwen then went to meet Alfred outside.
“Sorry Alfred, Lily doesn't seem to want to be disturbed. Maybe you can come next time.” said Gwen
“Tante, please let me go in to see Lily.” Alfred said.
“What's wrong with you two?”
“I plead guilty to Lily, I want to apologize to her. Please allow me to go in to see Lily.”
Not to be with Alfred. Gwen let Alfred in.
“Lily, can you open the door for a minute?” pinta Alfred from behind Lily's door.
“Go! I don't want to see you again!” scream Lily.
“Do not talk like that, please open the door for a moment.”
“I said just go! Don't bother me anymore!”
Andy who heard there was a commotion, tried to find his gun that he kept in the drawer and then Andy out of the room. With his gun pointed, Andy walked towards Lily's room.
“You go or I shoot!” andy said angrily.
Alfred then walked over to Andy. Alfred pointed the gun Andy had brought to his head.
“Please shoot me in the head and let me die.” Alfred said.
Hearing Andy scream, Lily quickly opens the door to her room and finds her father's gun in Alfred's head.
“Ayaaaahhhhh ..” cried Lily.
Lily ran to her father and grabbed her gun.
“Why did you snatch your father's gun? You said you didn't want to see me again, did you? Just let your dad shoot me in the head!”
“I beg you to come home, I promise to meet you after this. But please go home first.”
Lily asks Alfred to go home. Gwen then grabs Andy's hand and leads him into the room.
“You know Lily, I can't live without you. You promised me that you would continue with me under any circumstances?”
“Please Alfred you come home first, tomorrow I will see you.”
“Meet me tonight, please Lily I beg you.”
“All right, I'll see you tonight.”
“I'll wait for you in my apartment at seven o'clock tonight.”
“Alright, now you go home first.”
“I'll wait for you until you come.”
Alfred then left Lily's house. Lily immediately went inside the house to see her father.
“Dad, please don't do that.”
“The man has already made a fuss in this house, Lily Father beg you not to approach the man again.” Andy snapped.
Holding her father's hand, Lily cried and did not know what to do.
“Dad, I never really fell in love with any man until I met him. Please understand Daddy.” pinta Lily with sobbing.
“Daddy is sure one day you will find a much better man than that man.”
“I beg you not to talk like that. Please give him a chance, I will help him to change. I beg Father.”
Andy just fell silent and let go of Lily's hand. Gwen who could not bear to see Lily crying then brought Lily into her room.
