Episode 21
At Lily's house …
“You want to go straight home or here with me?” ask Lily.
“Here with you sounds fun hehehe.” joked Alfred.
“You could have. Let's go in.”
“But it's true Lily?”
“Ah already, you're talking what.”
Alfred and Lily then went inside the house. Lily headed straight to her room while Alfred sat in the living room.
Lily changed her clothes and then walked out of the room to meet Alfred. Lily sat next to Alfred and hugged him tightly.When he was engrossed in watching a television show, Alfred's phone rang.
“Hallo Alfred, are you busy right now?” natasha
“Hallo Natasha, I'm not busy. What's up with Mr Jones?” ask Alfred.
“Can we meet this afternoon? I want to say a few things.”
“Well can, where will we meet?”
“How about we meet at the coffee shop this morning?”
“Bby, I'll wait for you there.”
“Well see you later.”
Natasha hung up.
“Who called you?” ask Lily curiously
“That's Natasha Mr. Jones' personal assistant. The client I met this morning. He asked me to meet later in the afternoon because he wanted to talk about some things.”
“Oh so it is, you are so busy it seems.” Lily said with annoyance.
“I'm working instead of being busy with other things. Do you want to come with me?”
“No need, you're working. I don't want to bother you.”
“Then. You don't pout like that. After I'm done meeting him I'll see you again.”
“Boring once if I'm not with you hehehe.”
Alfred who heard Lily say that immediately laughed out loud. Seeing Alfred laughing like that, Lily laughed as well.
“Lily you really make me sick to my stomach hahaha.”
“I also don't know why I can talk like that hahaha.”
They both laughed like there was no burden.
“It looks like I should go home first. I need to change my clothes to meet Natasha later in the afternoon. You want to come with me or you want to stay home?” ask Alfred.
“Maybe I'm home alone, I want to sleep.”
“You want to eat no? Let me order something for you.”
“I'm not hungry now. You better go home now so you can rest.”
“Alright then. I go home first. After you're done meeting Natasha, I'll see you again.”
Alfred said goodbye to go home to his apartment while Lily went straight to the room for a break.
Arrived at Alfred's apartment …
“My body feels sick once.” murmured Alfred.
Alfred opened the freezer and picked up a few bottles of beer. Alfred sat down on the sofa and put his feet on the table then turned on the television. While enjoying a beer, Alfred watched a music show.
Alfred's phone rings …
“Hallo, Alfred am I in your apartment?” ask Natasha.
“Hallo Natasha, yes I am currently in the apartment. What's up?” ask Alfred.
“Thank God Alfred, I was in the Golden Mall parking lot. My car tires are flat, can you help me?”
“Well wait a minute, I'll be there soon.”
“Thank you yes, sorry to trouble you.”
Alfred hung up his phone and headed straight to the Golden Mall which was next to his apartment.
Alfred approached Natasha who was sitting in front of the Golden Mall.
"Hi, where's your car?" ask Alfred.
"Hi Alfred, you came so quickly. My car's downstairs still parked." replied Natasha.
"All right, let's go there."
Alfred followed Natasha to where he parked his car.
"Do you have spare tires?" ask Alfred.
"Yes, it's behind" replied Natasha.
Then Natasha opened the trunk of her car and Alfred lowered the spare tire and then immediately changed the tires.
Natasha kept watching Alfred who was trying to change the tire of his car.
In about 20 minutes, Alfred had finished replacing Natasha's car tyre. Alfred was sweating because it was so hot in the parking lot. Natasha gave her handkerchief.
"This is all you use" Natasha said as she offered her handkerchief.
"Thank you, it's over now you can continue your journey" Alfred said.
"I should be the one to thank you. Sorry if it's a hassle."
"No problem, will we meet at the coffee shop?"
"Yes, of course. Me and Mr. Jones will be at the coffee shop at 5pm."
"Alright, I'll come before. Be careful on the road. See you later."
Alfred walked back to his apartment. While in the lobby of his apartment, Alfred saw Elizabeth coming. Alfred walked up to him.
"Liz, what's up here?" ask Alfred.
"Nob from anywhere? I've climbed to the top, thankfully I can meet you here" Elizabeth said.
"So I went to the Golden Mall to help replace my friend's flat tire, what's the matter?" alfred asked curiously.
"Tonight I'll catch up with Mom and Dad to Singapore, I just want to stop by for a bit. But it looks like you didn't exist and then I got off" Elizabeth said.
"What time is your flight?"
"Later in the afternoon at 5 o'clock, can you drive me or not?"
"Sorry Liz, I'll have to meet with a client later in the afternoon so I can't take you. It's okay, right?"
"Well, that's okay."
"Send my regards to Father and Mother, yes, I'm waiting for you to come home. I have something to talk to you guys about."
"All right, I say yes. Take care of your health. See you soon."
Elizabeth then left Alfred's apartment.
Alfred's phone rings ...
"Hallo Alfred, where are you now?" ask Lliy
"Hallo Lily, of course I'm in the apartment. What's up?"
"No, I'm just making sure where you are. I don't know why I miss you."
"missed me? We just met and you miss me? Then you just stay with me. How's it?"
"Of course you can't, you're this!"
"You said you missed me, we just stayed together. You can see me every day."
"Ah, don't you go on."
"You're weird, and what if we're married? You don't want to stay with me either?"
"That's another story, if I'm married of course I'll live with my husband."
"Well, I'll be ready to go see Mr. Jones in a minute. If I finish too late, I'll come straight to Lion Cafe."
"You take care of yourself, good luck."
"Thank you Lily, you're the most concerned about me."
Lily then hung up.
Alfred was getting ready to head to the coffee shop. He drives his car quickly so he can get there before Mr. Jones and Natasha arrive.
Arriving at the coffee shop, Alfred immediately ordered a hot espreso coffee. While waiting for Mr. Jones and Natasha to arrive, Alfred sends Lily a message.
"Lily I've arrived, as usual I'll turn off my phone. I'll see you as soon as I'm done from here. I love you" Alfred wrote, then switched off his phone.
It was not long before Mr. Jones and Natasha came to Alfred. Alfred shook hands with them and sat down.
"Alright Mr. Hernandez, this hotel is planned to be built in Berlin, Germany. If one day I need you to come to Germany, would you be willing? All costs will be borne by me and beyond the value of the contract that we have agreed. I will give you 50% of the total contract value for now. While the shortcomings I will give after everything is done." explained Ryan Jones.
"Alright Mr. Jones, I understand. It's a pleasure to work with you." said Alfred."
Natasha immediately asked for Alfred's bank account number to send the agreed payment.
"You can already check your account, Mr. Hernandez" Natasha said.
"Well, I'll check it out later" Alfred said.
"Well Mr. Hernandez, we're saying goodbye" Ryan Jones said.
They left the coffee shop and Alfred went straight to Lily's house.
Before long Alfred has arrived in front of Lily's house, it looks like Lily is preparing to leave for Lion Cafe. Alfred then got out of his car and walked closer to Lily.
"You drive yourself?" ask Alfred.
"Jeez, you're surprising me, you're done?"
"It's over, I'll take it to Lion Cafe. Later if I can't pick you up, you can go home with David. It's important you don't drive yourself" Alfred said.
"Well, let's go now." take Lily.
After driving Lily to the Lion Cafe, Alfred returned to his apartment to rest.
