Falling In Love With Drunk

Episodes 10

Alfred was sound asleep. Not wanting to disturb Alfred, Lily decides to return home.

Lily was a little relieved because Alfred would try to reduce his habit of drinking beer.

After arriving home, his father and mother turned out to have gone home and were seen talking to several people. Turns out they were friends of Dad's when in the military.

“Andy, this is Lily? Wow, your son is grown. I used to remember Lily was only able to walk the first time you took her to headquarters.” said one of Andy's friends named Edward.

“Oh Lily has arrived. Lily's grown up now. Do not feel the time quickly passed.” said Andy.

“You're so lucky to have a child as beautiful as Lily, just try my son is not married. Maybe Lily I'll match her with” Erick added.

Lily then greeted one by one her father's friends. Then Lily went into the room to rest for a while. Lily then sent a message to Alfred.

“Darling, sorry I came home without saying goodbye to you. You fell asleep and I didn't want to wake you up. Take good care of yourself. Remember my message to drink less beer yes.” wrote Lily.

Lily then laid her body on the bed.

“Andy, chances are your operation will be done this week. You get ready.” Erick said.

“I'm ready anytime, tomorrow I'm ready hahaha.” joked Andy.

Soon they all said goodbye to go home.

“Thank you for finding me an eye donor. I don't know how to repay the kindness of all of you.” Andy said.

“You don't need to thank us. We also owe you a lot of life when we were active in the military.” replied one of Andy's friends.

“Alright then we say goodbye first. See you again.” they said.

“Be careful on your way.” said Andy and Gwen.

2 Hours later, Lily awoke from her sleep. Lily checked her phone, but there were no messages or calls from Alfred.

“I have to think positively, maybe he's still sleeping.” Lily murmured.

Then Lily washed her face and walked outside the room. Lily found her mother watching a show on television.

“What are you doing here?”

“This Mom is watching a comedy show.”

“Where's dad?

“Dad is in the room, come Lily sitting next to Mom. Mom wants to tell you good news.”

Lily then sat down near her mother out of curiosity as to what good news her mother would deliver.

“What's Mom, I'm curious.”

“Your father got an eye donor, the operation is planned to be done this week.”

“Really Mom? I can't believe this. Soon I can look back.”

Lily then walked to her father's room. Lily knocks on the door and Andy opens it shortly. Lily hugged her father.

“What is this Lily?” ask Andy.

“I'm so happy that Dad finally got a donor eye”

“Who told you?”

“Of course Mom, who else. Dad, I'm really very happy. I'll be able to look back. I pray later the operation smoothly.”

“Good, thank you for the prayer. I'm sorry for being too hard on you.”

“Dad doesn't need to apologize to me. I'm the one who should apologize to Dad. I hope Dad forgives me.”

“Dad, I've spoken to Alfred. I asked him to cut down on beer. He agreed and promised. I hope Dad can appreciate his effort.”

“Lily, can you stop discussing that man in front of me?”

“Alright Dad, forgive me.”

Lily then went into her room and saw her phone back. Lily hasn't received any messages or calls from Alfred. Out of patience, Lily called Alfred.

“Hallo Alfred, where are you?” ask Lily.

“Hallo Lily, I'm in the apartment. I woke up because you called me.”

“Oh so you're still sleeping yeah, sorry if it interrupts your sleep.”

“You're home?”

“Other times if I fall asleep, you just wake me up. No problem.”

“Well then, where are you going tonight?”

“I'm not going anywhere like that. You work tonight?”

“Yes of course. I want to take a shower first. Take good care of yourself. I love you.”

“You also take good care of yourself. I love you too.”

Lily hung up the phone.

Lily then took a shower to get ready for work.

“Ayah .. Mother .. I left for work first. Food I've prepared at the table.”

“After work, you go straight home. Don't meet the man.” said Andy.

Lily did not answer and left immediately.

Arriving at Lion Cafe. Lily's looking for Lucas at the bar.

“Lucas, can you give me a bottle of beer?”

“What's wrong with you Lily? You don't usually order beer.”

“Today I somehow want to have a beer, can you give it to me.”

“Alright, I'll get you.”

Lily became excited because of her father's words earlier. His father could not accept Alfred.

“Somehow I should convince Dad. I really don't know what else to do. Lily murmured.

Lily's beer soon arrived.

“This beer is for you.”

“Thank you Lucas. Have you seen David coming?”

“It looks like David hasn't arrived.”

Lily then finished the beer quickly. After that Lily went to the back to get ready.

Lily sent Alfred a message.

“If you have time, come to Lion Cafe. I miss you.” wrote Lily.

Shortly, Alfred replied to his message.

“Alright, after this I'll be there. Wait for me there.

Lily and her friends are on stage. After singing a few songs, Lily sees Alfred coming and goes straight to the bar table.

From a distance Lily sees Alfred talking to Lucas. They seem to be okay. Lily was calm to see it.

After about 30 minutes, Lily took a break and met Alfred at the bar.

“Sorry yes you waited a long time.” said Lily.

“No problem, what's wrong with you? Why is your face moody?”

“It's okay. Have you eaten yet?

“Not yet, I'm not so hungry. Are you having any problems?”

Lily then hugged Alfred and unconsciously shed tears.

“May you always be given health yes.” Lily said.

Then Alfred let go of Lily's embrace.

“You why are crying? What's the matter? Talk me. You don't worry me like this. If there's a problem you can tell me.”

“No problem whatsoever, I just feel like I miss you so much.”

“Cannot be. Missed me how? You don't lie to me. Tell me what's up?”

Lily did not answer and chose to go back to the stage.
