Episode 44

The next day, Alfred woke up from his sleep hearing an alarm from his cell phone ringing. Alfred immediately grabbed his phone and turned off his alarm. She saw Lily not being next to her. Alfred immediately got out of bed and out of the room.

Alfred searched every side of the house but did not find Lily. Soon she picks up her cell phone that is still in the room and contacts Lily. Alfred heard the sound of Lily's cell phone that turned out to be at the table near his closet.

Alfred grew more panicked because Lily left without her phone and also did not leave a message at all. He heads outside the house and finds Lily's car missing.

"Actually where are you going, Lily! You're freaking me out this early!" grouse Alfed.

Alfred sat on the front porch of Lily's house while waiting for Lily to come. She was so upset that Lily left the house without saying goodbye. About 1 hour waiting on the terrace, seen Lily's car coming. Alfred immediately stood up from his seat with a very annoyed face.

Lily who was surprised to see Alfred was already in front of the house immediately got out of the car and walked up to Alfred. Lily knew that Alfred was angry because of the look on his face.

"You're awake, aren't you? Sorry if I left without telling you. I can't bear to wake you up because you're so sound" Lily said with a glass of light.

"Where have you been? Why did you leave without telling me? Why did you leave your phone?" alfred asked in annoyance.

"We'd better go inside first, I'll explain later."

The two of them then entered the room. Alfred sat on the bed and was ready to listen to Lily's explanation. Lily pulled up a chair and sat down in front of Alfred. He held tightly to Alfred's hand trying to temper his anger.

"You don't get mad like that, I'm really sorry for you" Lily said in a frightened voice.

"Hurry to explain to me, where have you been?" snapped Alfred.

"I'll explain it to you only if you're calm."

"Just up to you! I'll go home first!."

Alfred gets up from his seat and out of the room, Lily follows Alfred trying to prevent Alfred from leaving his house.

"You don't go! You listen to my explanation! It's a small matter why you're enlarging it?" lily said in a slightly annoyed tone.

Lily invites Alfred to sit in the living room, but Alfred just shut up and stand up. Lily looked at Alfred's angry face. He teased Alfred by blinking his eyes hoping Alfred would laugh. It seems Lily's attempt failed, Alfred remained silent and instead looked at Lily's face with such a daze.

"All right I'll tell you. Shera called me earlier, and she asked me to drive her to the hospital. David's been out of town since yesterday. So he asked me to drive him. I was in such a hurry that I forgot not to bring my phone. Shera is currently pregnant, I am very happy. Finally after a few years he waited." said Lily at length.

"Why didn't you wake me?" ask Alfred briefly.

"So I told you, I can't bear to wake you up. I was in a hurry too. I've explained all the reasons, now if you want to go it's okay. You just go."

Alfred then sat down beside Lily while hugging her. He turned Lily's face to her face, Alfred could not help but laugh at Lily's hearty face.

"I can no longer resist laughing hahaha. Look at your face in the mirror, you will also laugh hahaha." joked Alfred as he continued to laugh out loud.

"You're playing me on purpose, aren't you? Look at it later, I'll repay you." Lily said resentfully.

"I didn't play you, I was really upset at first because you left the house without saying goodbye. But seeing your attitude so, I can't bear to laugh hahaha." joked Alfred.

"What if today we go to the city park?" take Lily.

"City park? Wh-wh-what for? I don't want to go there, just find somewhere else" Alfred said.

"Hmmm ... What if we go to the playground? We can ride some rides there, must be very exciting."

"You suck! Not fun! You're boring!"

"Whatever you say, I won't go there."

"But you used to go to the festival, right? Why don't you go to the playground now?"

"It used to be different. I went with some people. It's just the two of us, not fun."

"You're the one that's not exciting! You're boring! I'm lazy with you!"

"How about we buy a new ring for our engagement?"

Jennifer enlists Elizabeth's help to prepare for Alfred and Lily's engagement party. He and Daniel set out if this weekend a party would be held. Soon he contacted Alfred to give more details about the party.

"Callo, Alfred ... Are you busy right now?" ask Jennifer.

"I'm having breakfast with Lily, what's up, Mom?" ask Alfred.

"Mom just wanted to let you know if your engagement party will be held this weekend. Please tell Lily. Mother, your father and Liz have prepared well for both of you."

"Yes, Mommy... I'll tell Lily. If we can, we'll both come to the house."

"All right then, I'll hang up. You two take good care of yourself. See you soon."

Then Alfred went on to enjoy his morning breakfast with Lily.

"What's important?" ask Lily.

"Our engagement party ceremony will be held this weekend, we are asked to prepare. They've all arranged it for us." Alfred replied.

"I feel bad for them because it's too much trouble."

"You don't bother them at all. Precisely because they like you and love you so they care about our relationship."

"If my Dad and my mom could be at our engagement party, I'd be happier."

Lily did not feel tears dripping because she remembered and felt longed for her parents. Alfred quickly hugged Lily tightly so that she would not feel sad.
