Falling In Love With Drunk
Episode 13's
After Bianca and Julie leave, Alfred approaches Lily in the room.
“They've gone?” ask Lily.
“Yes, just left. I really didn't know Julie was coming along with Bianca.”
“I believe in you. I just remembered that woman who came to the house a few days ago. He said that I should stay away from you.”
“Really? How did he find out your home address? Must be Bianca.”
“You've let it go, maybe Bianca doesn't like me.”
“Julie and Bianca have been friends since they studied in Australia. I'll talk to Bianca later.”
“No need, let it go. Can you take me home?”
“Alright, I'll take you home. I apologize for my attitude. Please forgive me.”
“Have forgotten it. I don't want to keep thinking about that.”
Alfred and Lily went to Lily's house. In the middle of the journey the rain fell heavily. Alfred's car stopped.
“What is this? Why did your car suddenly stop?”
“I don't know, you wait there. I'll get off checking my car.”
Alfred came down from his car, a very heavy rain immediately soaked his body. Alfred soon returned to the car.
“What problems are there?”
“The tires deflated, wait yes I will change the tires first.”
“Do you need help?”
“No, no need. You just wait inside. I won't be long.”
Alfred then replaced the deflated tires. After about 20 minutes, Alfred finished changing his tires.
“It's done, let's walk again.”
“Your body is wet, you can get sick later. Don't you keep clothes in your car?”
“No, no clothes on my car. Don't worry about me. The most important thing is that you get home first.”
About 25 minutes drive Alfred and Lily have arrived. Lily's house lights are still on.
Lily looked towards Alfred, her face already pale and shivering. Then Lily held Alfred's forehead.
“Your body is hot, your face is also pale. Go to the house.”
Alfred and Lily got out of the car and went into the house. In the living room, Andy and Gwen are watching television.
“Lily you just got home? Mom and Dad are worried about you. Tonight it was raining very heavily.” said Gwen.
“Mother.. Father.. Alfred drove me home. But now her body is hot and her face is pale.”
“Bring him to your room, pity him.” Andy said.
“Good Dad, thank you.”
Lily took Alfred to her room.
“I'll bring you a change of clothes. You wait here yeah.”
Lily came out of the room and found her mother had prepared a change of clothes for Alfred.
“Mother bring your father's shirt to Alfred while.”
Lily went back into her room and asked Alfred to change his clothes immediately.
“You can do it yourself right?”
“Iya I can still change my own clothes. Thank you.”
Lily came out of her room and went to see her mother and father.
“Alfred is changing clothes now. I'll make soup for him.”
“Don't forget you compressed his forehead to get the heat down fast.” Andy said.
“Good Dad.”
Lily heads to the kitchen to make some soup and some warm tea.
When she finished, Lily went into the room. Alfred seemed to be lying down.
“Alfred, here I make you some hot soup and tea. Eat first.”
Lily helped Alfred to sit down.
“I bribe yes, you have to eat after that I will help compress your forehead to get your heat down.”
“I'm not mad at you. Don't talk much. Finish the soup first.”
After finishing her soup, Lily compressed Alfred's forehead with warm water and let him rest.
“You sleep now, may your fever come down quickly. I can't bear to see you sick like this for driving me home you're like this. I'm sorry yes.”
“You don't have to apologize, it's not your fault.”
“But still I feel guilty to you.”
“I've slept first ya.”
“Well you rest, I'll take care of you.”
Lily sat on her bedside chair. Lily's sleepiness was not restrained. Lily then closed her eyes and fell asleep while holding Alfred's hand.
The next morning, Alfred woke up and found Lily asleep in a chair and still holding her hand. Alfred very carefully moved Lily's body onto the bed.
Alfred then walked out of Lily's room. Alfred walked up to Gwen who was cleaning the front yard of the house.
“Good morning Aunt.” hello Alfred.
“Ohh good morning Alfred, you're awake huh. Where's Lily?” ask Gwen.
“Lily is still asleep, sorry I got troublesome.”
“You are not bothering us at all, you are sick. How are you doing now? Has it improved?”
“I feel better now, Lily took good care of me last night.”
“Thank God then.”
“Sorry yesterday I couldn't come.”
“It's okay. If you have a problem, please solve it well. One of you should have someone give up.”
“Good Aunt, thank you for the suggestion.”
“Maybe you better wake up Lily, breakfast is ready. We eat together.”
“Well Aunt, I'll wake Lily.” soon
While Alfred wakes Lily up, Gwen calls Andy and helps him sit at the dinner table.
“Lily ... Lily .. Wake up. Let's have breakfast first. Everyone is waiting for you. Come on wake up don't be lazy like this.”
Lily opened her eyes slowly.
“I'm still sleepy, you just bother me. What time is it now?”
“Already at 7 am, let's get up.”
Lily got out of bed and went to the bathroom to wash her face.
“It feels like I've been sleeping for a while, it's already morning.”
Alfred just smiled. Then Lily checked Alfred's forehead.
“Thank God your fever has gone down. You're having a direct rain fever. Very weak it turns out you are, surely when you were a child never play rain huh?”
“Thank you for taking care of me.”
“Iya equally, let's go out.”
Lily and Alfred headed to the dinner table to enjoy their breakfast.
“Lily, the operation will be done in four days.” Andy said.
“Really? Hope everything goes well. I'm already impatient.” Lily said.
“Sorry if I interrupt, if I may know what operation Om?” ask Alfred.
“Daddy gets an eye donor, Dad will be able to look back.” Lily said.
“Yes right, I will see the face of the man who made my son continue to cry.” Andy said.
Everything was instantly silent.
“Hahahaha, why are you quiet. Sorry Dad was just joking.” Andy said.
“Dad.... surprised me. Joking Dad really is not funny at all.” said Lily.
“But Om is right, indeed Lily has been crying a lot because of me. I also actually want to apologize to Om and Auntie because yesterday could not come.” said Alfred.
“It's okay, today you've come. Forget it then-then.” said Andy.
They then talked at length. Andy was slowly getting Alfred back. He did it for Lily's happiness. Lily seemed so happy with her father's change in attitude.
