Falling In Love With Drunk

Episode 11

After work, Lily heads to the bar to meet Alfred.

“You're done? How about we eat out?”

“Sorry Alfred I think I should go home soon. My father told me like that before I left for work.”

“Then what about me? I've been waiting for you since.”

“I'm confused actually have to do what”.

“You are confused why, please explain to me. What exactly are you thinking?”

“I want to tell you but I'm confused how to start.”

“You just tell me honestly, what really happened?” alfred asked in a somewhat annoyed tone.

“Please don't be mad at me. Give me some time to myself first.”

“Alright it's up to you.”

Alfred left Lily. Lily felt so guilty about Alfred. Lily really didn't know what to do this time.

Lily then went to find David.

“David, do you want to go home now?”

“Iya, I want to go home now. You want to come home with me? Aren't you with Alfred?”

“Iya I was with Alfred but he came home. Can I ride home with you?”

“Of course you can, let's go home now only.”

Lily then went home with David. On the way Lily just fell silent. David felt something was wrong.

“Lily ... Are you in trouble?”

“No, I have no problem. Why?”

“Your face is moody from earlier. I thought you were having a problem.”

“No, I'm fine.”

Lily was home. Lily went straight into the house. His father was sitting in the living room.

“Dad why haven't you slept?”

“Daddy just woke up. You just got home?”

“Yes Dad, I just got there. I'm so tired today, I sleep first.”

Lily stepped her feet towards the room. Lily put her body down and closed her eyes. Lily tried to sleep but couldn't. Lily immediately searches for her phone and calls Alfred.

“Hallo Alfred, where are you?”

“Why did you call me? I'm busy right now.”

Alfred hung up. Lily could not help but cry. His heart was completely broken as Alfred's attitude changed so quickly.

From the outside Andy heard Lily sobbing. Andy knocked on Lily's door.

“Nak, can I come in?”

“Iya Dad, just come in. The door is unlocked.”

“Why are you crying these nights? Must be because of that drunk guy, right?”

“Dad, that drunk guy has a name. At least call him by his name.”

“Fuck with the man's name. Dad doesn't care about him.”

“But I care about him, Dad. I love him so much.”

“Until when will you cry because of that man?”

“Until Dad really received Alfred well. If only I knew how Alfred's family treated me, I would be ashamed.”

“Indeed how they treat you?”

“The Alfred family received me very well, they were so friendly to me. I beg Dad, please let me be with him.”

“Alright if it makes you happy. Tomorrow tell him to come see Dad.”

“What Dad would really receive Alfred well if he came tomorrow?”

“Dad will try his best for your happiness.”

Lily hugged her father and kissed him.

“Thank you Dad, I'll tell Alfred.”

Andy then leaves Lily and heads to her room.

Lily tried calling Alfred again.

“Hallo Alfred, I want to talk to you.”

“You're stupid or what? I told you I was busy. Don't bother me anymore.” snapped Alfred.

“Please don't hang up. I want to talk for a moment.” ask Lily to say something.

Disillusioned with Lily, Alfred chose to vent his anger by going to the bar for drinks.

Since Alfred would not listen to her talk, Lily sent him a message.

“Alfred, I'm sorry if I'm guilty of you. I just wanted to let you know that my dad asked you to come home tomorrow. I hope you can come.” wrote Lily.

After waiting for about 30 minutes there was no reply from Alfred, Lily chose to sleep. But again he could not sleep well. Lily was worried about Alfred. Lily realizes that she has hurt Alfred's feelings.

Time has shown at 3 am. Lily could not sleep at all. Lily kept waiting for a reply from Alfred.

Lily then sent him another message.

“Alfred, please reply to my message. I need your answer. Can you come home tomorrow? My father really wanted to meet you.” Lily wrote.

Lily waited and waited for a reply to a message from Alfred. Until I don't feel the time to show at 6 am. Lily's eyes were so heavy that she didn't sleep all night.

Lily came out of the room to find food. Lily saw her mother was getting ready to leave.

“Where are you going?”

“Lily, are you awake, son? Mom's going shopping. Your father said he invited Alfred to come home. So I was asked to cook. Do you know Alfred's favorite food?”

“As for Mom just want to cook what. Alfred will surely love anything Mother's cuisine hehehe.”

Gwen went shopping. While Lily took some bread and milk and brought it to the room.

After finishing her breakfast, Lily picks up her phone and sends Alfred another message.

“Alfred, my mother will cook to welcome you later. I didn't know what your favorite food was, so I asked my mother to cook as much as she could. Hope you like it.” wrote Lily.

Lily felt her eyes were heavy from not sleeping all night. In the end, Lily could not help her sleepiness. Lily pulled the blanket and slept.

Time shows at 11 p.m. Alfred, who was drunk last night, woke up because his cell phone rang. Alfred grabbed his phone and saw his mother calling.

“Hallo Alfred, where are you now?” ask Jennifer.

“Hallo Mom, I'm in the apartment. What's up Bu?” ask Alfred.

“Mom just wanted to tell you, Mom and Dad are at the airport now. We will be in Japan for the next few weeks.”

“Alright, hope Mom's trip is fun.”

Alfred then hung up. She read Lily's message. His anger and disappointment in Lily has not gone away. Alfred simply read the message from Lily without replying.

At exactly 1pm, Lily woke up from her sleep. Lily hurriedly searched her phone to check if there was a reply to a message from Alfred. But again there is no reply. Lily tried to call Alfred back. But this time Alfred did not answer.

Lily then exited the room and smelled the aroma of cooking. Lily walked into the kitchen and saw her mother was busy cooking.

“What mom is cooking?”

“Lily, you're awake. Mom cooks chicken soy sauce. I hope Alfred likes it. What time is Alfred coming?”

“Hmmm maybe later in the afternoon.” replied Lily confused.

Lily then went back into the room.

“Mommy's been cooking for Alfred, but she hasn't heard yet. How is this, why Alfred has not also responded.” Inner Lily

Lily tried to contact Alfred.

“Hallo Alfred. Where are you now?”

“I'm in the apartment. What's the matter you called me?” ask Alfred with a ketus.

“You must have read my message, right? My mom cooked you soy sauce. What time are you coming?”

“I won't come.”

Alfred hung up the phone and turned off the phone.

Lily who heard Alfred would not come immediately sat speechless. This time Lily was really very angry and disappointed at Alfred.

Lily came out of the room and approached her mother in the kitchen.

“Mother, is the cuisine ripe?”

“Already Lily, I save first yes. Wait for Alfred to come.”

“We eat now only, Alfred will not come.”

Andy who heard Alfred would not come felt sad. He thought for sure because of his harsh nature that made Alfred not want to come.

“Let's Dad have lunch, I've cooked chicken soy sauce for us. I haven't eaten my mother's soy sauce for a long time.”

Lily ate with her. As much as Lily's energy to hold her tears so as not to drip. But whatever the power, his tears were unstoppable and dripped onto his cheeks. Gwen who saw Lily cry could only be silent.

“I'm done, Dad ... Mom .. I'm full. Because it was too full to make me sleepy. I went into the room first.”

In the room Lily cried again.

“You heard that right?” ask Andy.

“Iya I heard it.”
