Episode 20's
The next day at Alfred's apartment …
At 5 a.m., Alfred woke up to hear his alarm sound. Soon Alfred prepared for a meeting with Ryan Jones at the Blue Pacific Hotel.
Alfred took a shower and prepared the files he needed to carry. Right at 6am Alfred left his apartment.
Not to forget Alfred called Lily before leaving.
“Hallo Lily, sorry to bother you early in the morning.”
“Hallo Alfred. You're not bothering me, just calm down. What's up?”
“I'll be leaving for Blue Pacific Hotel for a meeting. Maybe I'll turn off my phone. Even if my phone is off, you'll just send me a message about your father's future operation. I'll read it after I finish the meeting later.”
“Alright Alfred. Good luck with your new project. Best wishes to you.”
“Thank you very much Lily, I pray also may your father's operation run smoothly.”
“Thank you, you're gone now don't be late. Be careful on the road yes.”
“You are also careful if later go to the hospital.”
Alfred hung up the phone and immediately left his apartment.
Alfred took only 20 minutes to get to the Blue Pacific Hotel. Because there was still time, Alfred took the time to go to the coffee shop opposite the hotel.
Alfred ordered hot espreso coffee and sandwiches for him. I heard that the woman behind him was confused.
“Where is my wallet, why isn't it in the bag. I feel like I put it in a bag. Ouch how this.” murmured the woman.”
“What's Miss, is there a problem?” ask Alfred.
“My wallet seems to be lagging behind and I have to hurry because I have to prepare for a meeting.” said the woman.
“You order it, let me pay for it.” Alfred said.
“Really? You are so kind, sorry so troublesome like this.” said the woman.
The woman then began ordering, after which Alfred finished paying her immediately.
After thanking Alfred, the woman left the coffee shop. While Alfred sat there to finish his coffee and sandwich.
Alfred immediately walked towards the Blue Pacific Hotel after it was completed.
“Good morning. I'm Alfred Hernandez, I have an appointment with Mr Ryan Jones at 7 this morning. Where can I meet him?” alfred asked the hotel receptionist.
“Good morning Mr. Hernandez, please wait a moment I will try to contact Mr. Jones' personal assistant first.” replied the receptionist.
The receptionist then contacted Natasha Smith for confirmation.
“Excuse me Mr. Hernandez, you have been waiting for Mr. Jones and Miss Smith. Let me drop you off.” said the receptionist.
“Good, thank you.” said Alfred.
They then took the elevator to the 5th floor. Alfred immediately turned off his phone so that no one would bother him when he met Ryan Jones.
After arriving on the 5th floor, Alfred met the woman who had been in the coffee shop. He was standing at the door.
“Excuse me Miss Smith, this is Mr. Hernandez.” said the respsionist.
“You were at the coffee shop, right? Didn't expect it to turn out you were Mr. Hernandez. Alright please log in.” Natasha said
Alfred smiled and entered the meeting room.
“Mr Jones, this is Mr. Alfred Hernandez has arrived.” Natasha said.
“Good morning Mr. Alfred Hernandez. Please sit.” said Ryan
“Good morning Mr. Ryan Jones, great to see you.” Alfred said.
Alfred then began his presentation.
While in the military hospital of the air force …
“Excuse me Mr Anderson, are you ready?” said one of the hospital nurses.
“Ya I'm ready.” replied Andy
“Alright, we will take you to the operating room.”
Lily and Gwen followed them from behind.
Arriving in front of the operating room, Lily and Gwen are asked to wait.
“Hopefully the operation goes smoothly.” Gwen said.
“Iya Mother, easy-easy all goes smoothly. I still didn't expect Dad would be able to see again after this.” Lily said.
“You came alone earlier, where is Alfred?”
“Alfred is having an important meeting. When it's done he'll come here.”
Lily picks up her phone and sends Alfred a message.
“Sorry I was late in texting you. At this time, I'm in the operating room. Pray that the operation will go well. How about your meeting this morning?” write Lily
Return to Blue Pacific Hotel …
It did not feel like 2 hours more Alfred explained about the design.
“As delivered by Natasha, I really like your design for my new hotel project. Here's the contract please read and learn first.” Ryan said while presenting his work contract file.
“Good Mr. Jones, I will read it first.” Alfred said.
“Alright, I think enough for today's meeting. If you have learned please give your signature and submit the contract to Natasha.”
“Good Mr. Jones.”
Natasha and Alfred were in the room. While Alfred was studying his contract, Natasha served Alfred a cup of tea.
“This is tea for you Mr. Hernandez.” Natasha said.
“Thank you, just call Alfred.”
“Good Alfred. Do you live around here?”
“I live in Golden Apartment. It's not far from here.”
Natasha kept looking at Alfred who was focusing on studying the contract.
“I don't think the guy I met at the coffee shop was Mr. Jones' guest. Look at this guy handsome too. He seems like a good man, an architect anyway. It's a good opportunity for me to approach him.” Inner Natasha.
“Alright I have finished studying it, I will directly give you my signature.” Alfred said.
“Well, I'll tell Mr. Jones later. Once again nice to meet you.” Natasha said.
“Thank you, I said goodbye.”
“Let me take you all the way down.”
Natasha and Alfred immediately took the elevator to the ground floor.
“I'll let you know if there's a continuation of Mr. Jones. It's so nice to see you again Alfred. Be careful on the road. Have a nice day.”
“Thank you too Natasha. It's good to see you too. Give my regards to Mr. Jones. I go first.”
Alfred walked towards the parking lot. Alfred turned his phone back on. A message from Lily came in. Alfred immediately read the message Lily sent him. After reading it, Alfred contacted Lily.
“Hallo Lily, I just finished meeting with a client. How about your father's operation?”
“Hallo Alfred. The operation is not finished. Mom and I are still waiting in front of the operating room. How was your meeting? Is it running smoothly?”
“Yes everything is going well, I have also signed the contract. I'm going to the hospital now.”
“I'm so glad to hear that. You be careful on the road yeah, see you.”
Alfred then hung up the phone and immediately headed for the hospital.
“Mother .. Alfred is done meeting with his client and he is on his way here.” Lily said
“How about the meeting?”
“All went well, Alfred got the contract. I'm so glad to hear that. Next time I have to look at Alfred's design, he's very smart to make a design.”
“Really? I don't know if Alfred's smart to make a design.”
“Hehehe Mom will definitely like it too.”
Andy's friends have just arrived at the hospital, they immediately approach Gwen and Lily who had previously told them.
“Is the operation finished?” ask Erick.
“Not yet, it has been 2 hours more we wait here.” replied Gwen.
“If you are tired rest, we will take care here.” Erick said.
“We are not tired, we just wait here together.” said Gwen.
Shortly thereafter Alfred arrived.
“Hai everything. Operation is not finished yet?” ask Alfred.
“Not yet, we are all still waiting.” replied Lily.
“Where are you Alfred? Very neat.” asked Erick.
“I just finished meeting with client.” replied Alfred.
After 30 minutes, the operating room door opened.
“Doctor, how is the operation?” ask Gwen.
“The operation is running smoothly, the patient is being observed first. If the result is good, we will take him to the room.” replied the Doctor who handles the operation Andy.
“Thank God, thank you very much Doctor.” said Gwen.
Lily then hugged Alfred who was standing next to her.
“I can't wait how Dad reacted when he opened his eyes later.” Lily said.
“I can't wait to see your father's reaction when I see you later. Surely he will soon allow me to marry you hehehe.” joked Alfred.
“Basically you are so big head once.” Lily said with a laugh.
30 Minutes later Andy was finished being observed and taken to his room.
“Sorry patient waiter can only 1 person who enters. And the hours of patient visits you can see on the notice board.” said the nurse as she left the room.
“Well then Mother will wait.” said Gwen.
“We've already announced Gwen.” said Erick.
“Thank you guys for coming, I'll come back if Andy is conscious.” said Gwen.
Andy's friends then say goodbye to going home.
“You and Alfred just go home, later in the afternoon you can come back.” Gwen told Lily.
“Well Mom, me and Alfred go home first. If you need anything, just let me know.” Lily said.
Alfred and Lily also left the hospital.
