At 08:40
The ancient Angkot has marginalized its position. Me and Sister Alika went down immediately.
Jami Al Muttaqien Mosque is in front of us at this time, the big mosque dominated by green color is very clean and beautiful. With a modern architectural style, the mosque looks castrated compared to other mosques around it.
The mosque has been filled with hundreds of motorcycles lined up neatly on the right, and the left side is reserved for pilgrims who carry cars.
I heard the moderator opening the show inside. Me and Ma'am Alika immediately speed up our steps, we immediately took place in the empty section of women/war pilgrims. Looks like the women around me are on average using skirts/gamis, and again only I use pants at this time. Yes, they have been trying to carry out the order of dressing a woman well, tucked shyly in my heart at this moment.
The opening ceremony finished the chant of the verse being recited at this moment, my heart trembled to hear it. In my heart whispered "let Firgie also be present at this study, we will hear science together."
Surely he will, but he will take me with him. And I will be ashamed to come with a man who has not been muhrim.
The chanting of the verse has been completed, the moderator now calls Ustad Yusuf Al Baihaki to come on stage. The Ustad began to speak at this time, thanksgiving and sholawatpun were encouraged. Until we were at the core material event with the theme "The Purpose of Human Creation."
In the presence of God, everything that God has created, both in the heavens and the earth, has a purpose and a wisdom. Not just because you like it. Not even a mosquito was created in vain. Allah Ta’ala says,
أَفَحَسِبْتُمْ أَنَّمَا خَلَقْنَاكُمْ عَبَثاً وَأَنَّكُمْ إِلَيْنَا لَا تُرْجَعُونَ
“Then do you think that We created you playfully (only), and that you will not be returned to Us?” (QS. Al Mukminun:115).
This short paper discusses 2 main goals of human creation :
First: Learning about God
Allah Ta’ala says
“God created the seven heavens and the earth. The commandment of Allah is with him, that ye may know that Allah is All-Powerful over all things, and that the knowledge of Allah is all-encompassing (QS. Thalaq's Ath: 12).
Allah tells us that the creation of the heavens and the earth, that man may know of the Almighty Allah Ta’ala, that Allah is the owner of this universe with the perfect knowledge of Allah. No one escapes the knowledge and control of God, for the knowledge of God encompasses everything.
The second point of human creation is: To worship God Only
Allah Ta’ala says
وَمَا خَلَقْتُ الْجِنَّ وَالإنْسَ إِلا لِيَعْبُدُونِ
“And I did not create jinn and men, but that they might worship Me”. (QS. Adz Dzariyat: 56).
The above verse clearly states that the purpose of man's creation is to worship, worship only God. This verse hints at the importance of tawhid, because tawhid is the greatest form of worship, impressing God in worship.
This verse also hints at the importance of charity, after the first purpose man was created was to be knowledgeable. The fruit of science is charity. Science is not sought and learned except to be practiced. Like a tree, it is not planted except to get its fruit. Science is the fruit of charity.
Ladies and gentlemen a Muslim should be well aware of how world is just a land full of mirages. The world is not a place for fun and rest. The world is a village looking for supplies. Instead, the hereafter is a place of picking the fruit of charity. If the deeds done in the world are good, then the reward in the Hereafter will be good, and vice versa.
The world is like a mirage. It seems grand, but it's actually weak.
Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla says,
“And is not the life of this world but joking and playful. And verily the Hereafter is the truth of life, if they know.” (QS Al-‘Fog: 64).
Which one will we choose between the two? The Hereafter has prepared a painful torment and punishment for those who are more concerned with the world than the Hereafter, or is Allah's forgiveness and mercy ‘Azza wa Jalla for those who are more concerned with the Hereafter than the world? Let us not be deceived, my sister..
The Muslim imam narrates from the hadith of Al-Mustaurid bin Syaddad,
Prophet Shallallahu’alaihi Wasallam said, “The world compared to the hereafter is just like one of you who put his finger into the sea. Notice what that finger brings?!”
Moderatorpun closed the study that afternoon.
Time shows at 11:05 at the moment.
"Bak went straight home Ly, pray In Shaa Alloh ikhwan who will berta'aruf with Mbak later in the afternoon will be silaturahmi to home," said Mbak Alika.
"Ma shaa Alloh, Lyra joined Ma'am's sen. Smoga the meeting will be smooth, Ma'am," said I.
"But Lyra.."
And we split up there.
I'm getting on 13A right now.
My mind continues to digest the words of Ustad Yusuf in the mosque that stated "The world is only Fatamorana and our purpose in the world is to find provision for the hereafter, that every beauty is a test." things are still a little vague for me. Later I have to ask Mbak Alika, my mind.
On the road suddenly crossed my brain to stop by Mall XX, there was something I wanted to buy there. I also immediately went down when the angkot had stopped its pace where I wanted to go.
The Kuputari area of the Mall looks like the item I was looking for in the corner there, in the store.. Skirts..
Well, I want to buy a skirt right now, improve a little bit of my appearance. And I bought some skirts in that shop, I chose 2 plaid motifs and 2 polkadot motifs..
🌷🌷
Zuhur prayer has been completed at this time in Mushola Mall XX.
I got some messages on my phone. At once I wanted to tell Firgie that my studies were done. Don't let Firgie get mad like yesterday, my inner self.
Before I sent a message to Firgie, it turned out that the message was already on my phone.
"Have the study finished?" ask Firgie.
"I want to tell you, then" I wrote.
"Where is this time?" ask again.
"In Mushola Mall XX" I replied.
"When in the Mall?"
"There was something I wanted to buy." I said.
"Have lunch?" ask again.
"No, yet" I said.
"Wait in the bathtub, I'll pick you up,"
"Ba-ik," I wrote..
Ahh Gie, I don't seem to have another world besides you. You're always around me...
