Conquering Husband

Conquering Husband
Chapter.32 Waiting for No Result

Sabrina was waiting for Fabian who had said he would pick her up, in fact the man broke his promise. Sabrina had to go home by herself. But whether coincidentally intentional or not, Mark comes at the right time to his florist and offers to drive Sabrina to his apartment.

"No, I don't want to trouble you. I can take a taxi," softly refused Sabrina.

"You didn't bother me at all because I wanted to go home too."

"I know, but if you take me, it'll be a waste of your time." Honestly Sabrina is not feeling good, besides that she also feels unworthy to be escorted by a man while her status is married.

"Do you know where I live?"

Sabrina frowned.

"I live in the same apartment as you, in Golden Town."

"really?" Sabrina couldn't believe it.

"Of course, yesterday I rented a flat belonging to my friend to be closer to the office" explained Mark.

"How about we go home now?" take Mark.

This time Sabrina could not resist, rather it was not hearty to refuse. He also agreed to go home together. The thing that made Sabrina even more surprised was that Mark's Flat was one floor with her, they were really neighbors.

"Thank you so much for the ride, I went in first" said Sabrina as Mark drove her to the front door of her apartment.

"Eh .. wait, didn't you tell me to stop by?" god Mark.

"Maybe next time, Fabian isn't home" replied Sabrina, much to Mark's dismay, especially when she mentioned the name of the man she hated. As if reminding herself that Sabrina belonged to that shitty guy.

"Oh .. All right, I get it," Mark forced his smile.

Sabrina came in and cleaned up. Until he finished eating, Fabian had not yet returned home. Want to call but he hesitated, finally can only wait in anxiety. He couldn't sleep if the man hadn't come back, because it was when Fabian left that he didn't say where he was going. Sabrina thought Fabian was going home to her apartment, but no, the man wasn't in any corner of her apartment.

In order to relieve the agitation, Sabrina tried to call Rosita, a servant at Ramos' house. Unfortunately, Fabian didn't go back there either, and then where was the man. He said he'd be the driver, and drive him anywhere, but why now it's gone.

After a long wait and no results, he who had been attacked by drowsiness chose to rest alone, but before that Sabrina prepared pillows and blankets on the living room sofa where Fabian used to sleep, but before that Sabrina prepared a pillow and blanket on the living room sofa, who knew that man would come in the middle of the night as usual.

At exactly two o'clock in the morning, Sabrina woke up. The first thing that came to his brain was Fabian. Soon he got up and saw if the man had slept on the sofa or not. Disillusioned. Sabrina's heart slipped when she found that there was no one on her living room couch. She sat there holding the blanket she had prepared for her husband.

His heart grew even more agitated as he thought about where exactly the man had gone.

"Where are you going, why didn't you tell me?" he nodded while biting the pillow on his lap.

"I'm worried about you if you know" he murmured again.

It is not yet Sabrina's waking hours, it's only natural that he returned sleepy, but this time he chose to sleep on the sofa, holding a blanket that is commonly used Fabian.

The sound of her loud doorbell roused Sabrina from her sleep, in her unconscious state she hurried to open the door. In his heart he was delighted that Fabian was finally home.

"Good morning" said a man standing at the door.

Disappointed look was clearly on Sabrina's face. It wasn't Fabian, it was Mark who knocked on the door.

"Mark?"

"Why is it still night like this you knock on my door?"

Mark was a little confused by Sabrina's question, night?

"Sabrina, it's even eight o'clock" Mark replied hesitantly. Yes ... Mark was wondering if it was morning or still night as Sabrina said.

"Hour eight?" screeched Sabrina, and Mark nodded.

Sabrina turned her head towards the back where there was a large glass wall in her living room. Sure enough, the sunlight was already very bright entering through the gap of the curtains in his living room.

"Yes ... God, how can I wake up this afternoon," Sabrina cried. He immediately shut the door and forgot about Mark.

As he was about to walk away, he remembered Mark knocking on the door. He went back to the door and opened it again. "I'm sorry, Mark. I panicked too much to forget you" he said regretfully.

"What are you doing here early in the morning?"

"I just want to take you out together, that's if you don't mind" Mark replied frankly.

Sabrina scratched her head that was not itchy, not good at rejecting Mark's invitation, but her feelings as a wife could not also be ignored.

"Mark, you know I just woke up. I'm not ready at all, I'm afraid you'll be late for your office. What if next time," turn Sabrina down as smoothly as possible.

"It doesn't matter, I can leave at whatever time I want?"

"What?" Of course Sabrina was surprised, whether there were employees like that, leaving at whatever time she wanted. Sabrina's suspicious gaze made Mark aware of her unnatural answer.

"I mean, I just need to tell my boss if I'm a little late. I can make excuses if I'm sick to the stomach," he said.

"No-no, don't be like that. That wouldn't be good for you. Next time we go together, ok."

Deeply disappointed, Mark finally replied, "Ok."

After Mark left, Sabrina closed the door again. Seeing the pillows and blankets on the sofa again reminded him of Fabian's whereabouts. He immediately went to the room looking for his cell phone, who knew the man was calling him.

He again had to be disappointed when there was not a single message from the man. Dismissing all his disappointment, Sabrina immediately prepared for work.

Sabrina's days passed by going to work alone, although Mark always offered her a ride, and always Sabrina tried to refuse him. It didn't feel like it had been almost four days Fabian had no news at all. Sabrina was getting used to going back without the man, as she was while living in the Ramos residence. Fabian often doesn't come home without news.

This afternoon after returning home from the florist, Sabrina took the time to shop for her kitchen needs. The fridge is almost finished. He went to a modern market in a shopping mall all by himself. By pushing the trolley, he walked through each station displaying all the items that would satisfy his stomach.

Sabrina took some meat and fish, then vegetables, as well as a variety of kitchen spices that have been used up, not to forget cheese and milk. While passing through the row of pasta, Sabrina stopped there. He remembered Fabian, he remembered when the man cooked carbonara for him. The delicious taste made Sabrina greedily spend it.

His smile was simply etched as in his heart came the feeling of being re-molded by the man.

"When, you're back. I want that delicious carbonara again" he said in his heart.

Sabrina grabbed a box of pasta she wanted, and at the same time someone held a box of pasta she chose.

"I'm sorry" Sabrina told the man. When he turned his head and saw who it was, suddenly Sabrina's legs froze. Tongue's cow. His brain seemed to stop working, along with the time that stopped running.
