Bakoh Shoulder
Chapter 85. Trying to uncover facts

Arrived at his house. There was Ayu who greeted with her shady smile. Ayu knew her father was going through a difficult time lately. He did not want to add to his father's burden.

A hot cup of coffee is placed on the table. Without being told Ayu to take his father a plate of rice complete with vegetable lodeh made.

"Feed first sir. You haven't eaten all day." Ayu can guess from the look on his father's face that looks cute.

"Maturnuwun ya nduk.. I'm not a laper yet.." Her speech was lethargic.

Teguh still remembered the sobs of Sakti. Still imagined his joke with Wibi before Wibi was found drenched in blood and pronounced dead in the hospital. And when he closed his eyes, Wibi flashed a smile as she thanked him after receiving no amount of help from him, it made him feel depressed.

He had lost the person he loved the most. His wife and both parents had returned to the lap of the Almighty long before Wibi died. But, there is a different feeling Teguh when Wibi died. There was a part of his heart that felt regret. But, he himself did not know what regrets he actually felt.

"Sir.. People want to eat no need to wait for hunger first right? This is the fortune that God loves us today, there is still something to eat, there is still something we can enjoy, the time to be taken? Those were my first words.."

They have actually lost their appetite. Whatever was in front of him was bland. But for the sake of his son so as not to worry about it, Teguh forced himself to put some mouthfuls of rice into his mouth.

The ringing of the dial tone from Teguh's phone broke the daydream. Looked at the name of Wibi there. Instantly his eyes were puffed. He quickly received the phone call.

"Assalamu'alaikum's chat.."

"Wa'alaikumsalam, mas Teguh.. It's me Shopi.. There's something I want to ask you. Can you come here?" You can be sure at the end there said it without a smile overshadowing his face. Datar impressed ketus.

Firmly nodded when what he did to answer the words of Shopiah could not be seen by the caller.

"Yu.. Father to the place om Wibi bentar yes, you do not go out of the house nduk.. I want malem. Don't forget to eat too. And that's the door locked. I brought the spare key. Assalamu'alaikum." He immediately grabbed his helmet and motorcycle key after asking his daughter for permission to visit Shopiah's house.

"This is not Wibi's jacket. The hospital attendant gave her all the Wibi mas stuff she was wearing that night.. But, this is not his. I memorized all the Wibi clothes." Shopiah placed the jacket wrapped in clear plastic on the table. The jacket that bears witness to the loss of life of a person from his body.

Shopiah showed the jacket to Teguh. Of course Teguh knows who the owner of the jacket is. Still waiting for Shopiah to finish her sentence.

"Police said that Wibi mas was a victim of robbery but, it was denied that none of Wibi's mas items were missing."

Shopiah looked at Teguh who seemed to want to talk. He kept quiet to let his guests say what he needed to know.

"That's my jacket. That night, I accidentally met Wibi in front of the patient waiting room, I was looking at the men who were treated there. He said he bought pulses for mbak. I saw his clothes drenched.. So I offered my jacket for Wibi to wear. That was my last meeting with him.. Till.. Until I saw for myself he was dead.." Slowly explained what he knew to Shopiah about the jacket.

"Mas Teguh, can you come with me to the police station tomorrow morning?" Shopiah squinted her eyes.

He did not understand the direction of Shopiah's conversation, but he tried to remain calm. He knew that at this time Shopiah and Sakti were the ones who were most saddened by Wibi's death, the sudden loss of a loved one was not an easy feat to mengikhlaskan.

"Yes, ma'am." He said without asking much.

"I am a poor man, my life and my family are far from enough.. The house is still hitchhiking, the old man is sickly, but.. I want justice for Wibi. I want to know who and why Wibi lost his life. What mistake he made until he had to redeem with his life.. Honestly, just be firm.. I'm heartbroken.. I won't forgive the man who made Sakti an orphan."

The crying broke again. Firmly closing his eyes for a moment, he also wanted to know why Wibi could be the victim of such a sadistic murder. Without saying much, after feeling that the meeting had found a meeting point between the two, Teguh said retreat back home.
