Chapter 82. Target hunt

Caca stared pushyly at the figure that had been spoiled this morning. It didn't feel like her tears were just sliding around without being ordered. His chest ached seeing a loved one lying weak like that.

Again, the hand was held. There was no movement of Ervin's hand to return his grip. The face was pale, with eyes closed, and breath sounding choked, Ervin was silent without any response.

"Mas.. Mi Cha has eaten. He was crying about his father, I said he hasn't come home from work." Caca stopped telling stories. The mother of one child wiped away her tears.

Both silent. Budhe Efa again noticed his loyal sister accompanied Ervin while continuing to hold her husband's hand.
