Mama Reta just kept staring at the little girl who was currently in front of her. Makes him think back to the figure of little Ibra who said people look more like girls.
"How can this boy look so similar to Ibra?!," inner mama Reta.
Seeing mama Reta who just kept looking at him, made Alea feel scared and hugged Ibra who was sitting next to her.
"What's wrong?" ibra asked confused.
"Lea's scared." Alea spoke while tightening her embrace.
"Not to be afraid, it's your mother. Mama om baim!" she whispered while stroking Alea's head. "Why didn't you tell me if you wanted to come?" ask Ibra to her mother.
"He's really your friend's son?" mama Reta asked, making Ibra frown. There was no way he could have said that Alea was Ara's son, it was not time he told her about Ara, she thought.
"Yes right, whose son is it? Soon his father will come to pick him up" replied Ibra. "So his papa's car broke down, so he left his son to us" he assured.
"Hey pretty girl, come same oma come here!" mama Reta reached out her hand to Alea.
Alea then let go of her embrace of Ibra, looked at her mother Reta and then turned to look at Ibra for an answer. After getting a nod from Ibra, Alea then walked slowly towards mama Reta.
"Let's go, baby!" mama Reta grabbed Alea's body and sat her on her lap.
"What's a pretty girl's name?"
"Oma Alea!"
The two then chatted like a grandmother with her granddaughter. Seeing Alea's sweet demeanor, it made Mama Reta's feelings even more passionate to have grandchildren.
"Ibra, when are you going to give mom a grandchild too? Mom is old!" ask Ibra who just put a glass of water for her mother.
"Ibra didn't think, why didn't you just marry Rissa?" ibra replied, throwing her body on the sofa, leaning her body and raising her head to the ceiling of her living room, and leaning her arms over her forehead. Recalling about what she had been through all this time, waiting faithfully for Ara. Every waking up he kept hoping that this day would meet with Ara, and every day after work he always took the time to visit their home, hoping that Ara would be there waiting for him, when he opened the door. But everything is in vain at the moment. "I'm too confident that you can't live without me." Ibra smiled bitterly considering how foolish she was to believe that Ara would come home to her.
"Ibra!" Reta's mama's call forces Ibra to stop her daydream. "That's someone coming." Ibra who had heard the bell quickly stood up and walked towards the entrance.
Chequek...
The smile that Ibra had been looking at to greet her guest, who she thought was Abyan, suddenly disappeared.
"Mom!" said surprised.
Ara was no less surprised, when she saw Ibra suddenly her heart was beating very fast. "I'm sorry, it looks like I got the wrong address" said Ara quickly, who would then leave. But Ibra quickly held Ara's hand.
"Alea is inside" said Ibra stopping Ara's steps, then removing her grip on Ara's hand. "Come in first," he continued and went inside ahead of Ara.
Ara held onto her chest to regulate her heartbeat. And although feeling a little confused Ara still followed Ibra's steps into his house.
While inside, Ibra seemed to scratch his head, confused to say what to his mother.
"Who's coming?" mama Reta asked Ibra who was standing next to her.
"Mrs....!" alea shouted running at her mother, making mama Reta turn around.
"Mom!" mama Reta said she couldn't believe what she saw. Mama Reta quickly stood up to Ara.
Without thinking long mama Reta quickly grabbed Ara's body and hugged her, "Where have you been?" he said that he had been crying, but did not get an answer from Ara who had also been crying. For a moment they shed tears without a word, releasing all the longing between them.
Ibra who watched the two choose to leave, she could not help but cry as well.
After he finished giving up his longing, the two sat down and talked, asking each other the news.
Ryan who had just finished changing clothes, was surprised to see a woman similar to Ara was there, he quickly looked for the figure of Ibra who was not there.
"What's up ahead is right Ara?" ryan asked Ibra who was watching the night view of Surabaya from behind the glass barrier.
Ibra then confirmed Ryan's question with a nod. "Then why are you here? Are you so embarrassed to meet her?" he said he managed to get a punch on his shoulder from Ibra.
"It's none of your business!" ibra said then walked out to meet her mother and Ara.
"Cehhh basic!" ryan laughed.
"Ehm..." Ibra cleared her throat before finally sitting herself on one of the sofas. Ara who saw Ibra's arrival then lowered her gaze, busying her hands with a tidy Alea's hair.
"So when are you going home? Papa and Rissa would be so happy to see you," asked Mama Reta.
"Sorry ma!" said Ara hesitated, making Ibra who saw him try to understand with Ara's position.
"Ma! Ara can't go home with us" Ibra said, trying to help Ara.
"Why?"
"Ara is married, she also has her own family, too" Ibra replied staring at Alea. Although she knows, maybe Ara is currently having problems with her husband.
Mama Reta was surprised to hear Ibra's words, then looked at Ara for an answer.
While Ara himself also seemed confused, not believing, how could Ibra conclude it. But Ara did not try to refute him.
"So Alea isn't your mother's granddaughter?" mama Reta asked Ara.
"Sorry ma!" ara replied down. "At this time Miya will give birth, so Ara excuse me to go home," Ara continued to switch the conversation, then stood up to mama Reta and kissed the back of her hand before finally moving.
"Wait!" mama Reta held Ara's hand.
"Ma!" ibra said hoping that her mother would no longer hold Ara.
"But he's your granddaughter, right?" mama asked Reta to look at Ara, "Well, right Ara? Mama was very sure Alea was my granddaughter," she asked again to ask Ara to take care of her.
Hearing Reta's mama's words, Ara then looked into her mama Reta's eyes before slowly nodding her head.
