A Wound

A Wound
Chapter 48's

The next day, Arumi sends Novi's car to the address that Novi sent in a short message. However, when Arumi wanted to ask about his ID card, it turned out that Novi's mobile number was no longer able to be contacted.

"Where is he, why can't his number be reached?" Arumi frowned, as she felt something strange.

He then called Novi's number again. But still the same, the call still can not connect. Makes Arumi even more upset. They just sent each other a message.

"Did he block my number? Well, it looks like he's looking for trouble with me!"

Arumi, who had been lying on her bed, immediately got up and grabbed her car keys lying on her desk. Intent on going to the address Novi sent him, earlier.

After a few minutes of driving, Arumi finally arrived at a large house with a high fence. He stopped his car in front of the security post in front of the house, and immediately lowered the windshield.

"Who's looking, Neng?" ask a security guard at the guard post.

"Is this really home, Mba Novi?" asked Arumi, after previously turning off the engine of his car.

"Yes right, Neng. But Non Novi just came out, Neng," replied the security.

"That's it, sir.... Do you know where? Or maybe what time is it?"

"Well, if that's what I don't know, Neng. What is it, Neng? if there is a message, I will send it"

"Nothing, sir. Then I'm sorry. Thank you, sir."

"Yes together, Neng."

After saying goodbye to security, Arumi returned to drive home. He plans to call Novi again later.

"Where are you going?" asked Ibra who saw his wife who was neat.

Ibra then rested her body on the dresser where Ara was currently looking. And purposely obstructing his wife's view.

"Mom took the road" answered Ara. "So, don't move first. Ara wants to see, her hijab is neat yet."

"It's beautiful, really." Ibra continued to follow Ara who shifted to the right and to the left, in order to find a gap to see the reflection of her face.

"Jeez Ibra. Cepetan, Mama will wait for him long." Ara pushed her husband's body as hard as she could. But Ibra did not budge and instead laughed at the face of his wife who was angry.

Ara throbbed irritably and then walked towards the large mirror attached to her closet. Makes Ibra chuckle at him.

Ibra again followed in his wife's footsteps, leaning her body against one of the closet bodies and folding her hands in front of her chest. Staring at the face of his wife who was justifying her hijab.

The cup!

"Sister Ibra..." Ara struck Ibra's arm, who always kissed her at will.

Ibra chuckled and apologized. "But Brother just wanted to ask you out on a date" said Ibra pouting.

"Yes.a very dear. Ara has already agreed to the invitation of Mama. If not, it would be great fun to date Ibra's sister, " said Ara teasingly.

"Then I'll go with you guys" Ibra said.

"Ara tell mom first."

"No need! you wait a minute, brother will be ready. Just a minute, ok!"

Ibra immediately opened her wardrobe and grabbed a pair of jeans and a white t-shirt. He even changed clothes quickly in front of his wife. Makes Ara chuckle at him.

After slightly tidying his hair, he then grabbed a jeans jacket and a hat which he then dropped on his head.

"Come on!" take him, pull his wife's hand.

They are currently in a shopping mall. Ibra who walked behind the two women who were embracing each other in front of him felt neglected.

Ara who was a little surprised, then smiled broadly at her husband.

During the tour, Ibra never once let Ara get away from her. Makes Mama Reta shake her head at her son's behavior. He did not even enjoy his time with his daughter-in-law because of his son.

After being satisfied around, they decided to enter one of the food outlets in the shopping center.

"Male!" greet mama Reta on Bima who is seen sitting alone.

"Tante Reta!" bima Sahut. Who then stood up from his seat and returned the greetings of mama Reta.

Bima then looked at Ara who was also staring at him. Upon realizing Bima's existence, Ara unwittingly took off her hand grip on Ibra's arm. Making Ibra feel strange then turned his eyes to his wife and Bima who stared at each other for a moment before Ara again lowered his gaze.

"Ibra?" bima's greeting extended his hand to Ibra.

"Yes!" sahut Ibra who then shook Bima's hand.

"How are you?" ask Bima.

"Good."

"Did you still remember me?" bima asked again, when he realized the face of Ibra who was not friendly. Maybe because he doesn't remember it, he thought.

"Honey he Bima, our neighbor first. You must not recognize him because he is getting handsome," said mama Reta praised.

"Ah yes. I'm sorry, I don't recognize you" Ibra said, forcing her smile.

"You're alone?" ask mama Reta to Bima.

"So with a friend, but he's gone home" replied Bima.

"Then can we sit here?" ask mama Reta.

"Ma! maybe he wanted to be alone" Ibra was unhappy with her mother's idea.

"It's okay. Just sit here" said Bima allow.

"It's okay, come on!"

Mama Reta then sat herself beside Bima. And inevitably, Ibra followed, and sat herself right before Bima, with Ara sitting beside her.

After they started eating their ordered food, Mama Reta tried to mince words with Bima. But not with Ibra just silence and occasionally glance at Ara who continues to look down.

"What's wrong?" ibra asked gently, to his wife. Making Bima look at Ara waiting for her answer. He still wants to know anything about this woman.

"Ah, there's nothing" replied Ara. Seems wrong. Ibra made him more suspicious of his wife's behavior.

"Oh yes, Bima. Do you have a boyfriend?" ask mama Reta.

"Not got, Auntie." Bima laughed, glancing at Ara with the tip of her eyes.

"Well, a handsome guy you don't have a girlfriend. At first my aunt thought you were married. But it turns out Ara said you are not married," said mama Reta who also laughed.

"Yes, nothing fits.... I used to be almost engaged, but I canceled it unilaterally, and that's my biggest regret, wasting a girl who was so nice to me" Bima said honestly.

Perhaps this was his chance to show his regret to Ara. Bima just wanted Ara to know that she never hated that woman.

Ara who heard Bima's words, slightly gasped and stared at Bima's direction. And it was not out of Ibra's view. Making Ibra more convinced that the two have a relationship that is more than just lecturers and students.
