Chapter 17's

Today Ara entered the lecture rather unfortunate, because the lecturer in his first hour was not present. And he plans to bring his own car after a long time of not driving.

It was so difficult for Ara to persuade her father that she was given her own driving license today.

Not without reason Hartono forbade his daughter to drive alone, because Ara once deliberately crashed himself. And since then Hartono has never again allowed Ara to drive alone.

And because Ara never wanted to be escorted by a private driver, so inevitably she had to be ready to pick up the princess.

Ara perfectly parked her vehicle in the campus parking area. And when he just got off his vehicle, Ara found Arumi who also just got off his vehicle.

"Arumy..." Ara shouted while waving her hand.

"Can you bring your own car?" asked Arumi, looking at the car owned by his best friend who he had not used for a long time.

"Yes, with a thousand and one tombal seductions," Ara replied with a chuckle.

"Yes, Come on!" bring Arumi.

"I don't think you're in today" said Ara, who was walking by Arumi's side.

"Why? You think I'm gonna keep grieving, shut up in my room and crying all day, okay?" Arumi flicked her lips, glancing at her best friend.

"Yes, man! But it turns out I was wrong, my Arum is indeed strong," Ara replied laughing as she wrapped her hand around Arumi's arm.

"Bahhh!" jengah Arumi who also laughed a little.

Although actually Arumi still feels pain, but he will try to ignore his feelings for a moment. He will busy himself not to dissolve in his sadness, and hope to quickly forget his stupid feelings.

While walking in the corridor, Ara smiled in a knot as she looked at Bima who had just walked out of one of the classrooms. He was reminded of his plan today that will tell him about what happened to him a year ago to Bima, when he returned to college later.

"Sir Bima.." call Ara.

But Bima who heard the call Ara actually turned direction without looking at the girl.

"What's wrong with her?" arumi asked frowning, as she felt that it was impossible for the man not to hear the call of his best friend.

"Maybe he didn't hear me," Ara replied smiling awkwardly. "Yes, go to class" he added.

Although actually he felt a little strange with the attitude of his lecturer, but he tried not to think badly.

Arriving in class, Ara grabbed her phone in her bag, and started typing a message for Bima.

"Assalamualaikum, sir."

"Sir, can we talk when we get back to college? There's something important I want to tell my dad."

Ara again sent a message to her lecturer, when she saw two blue ticks on her first message, which means it has been read.

Ara waited long enough to reply to messages from her lecturer, until she repeatedly opened her chat application. Even the second message he sent had not been sent. The possibility of a chat application belonging to the man is being deactivated.

Ara felt increasingly strange with the attitude of her lecturer. Several times he thought about the mistakes he might have made, but nothing seemed to exist.

The class has finished, Ara and Arumi are out together. Along the way to Ara's parking lot just kept walking with a blank look, he didn't even notice Arumi who kept talking to him.

"Hey!" Arumi held one of her best friend's shoulders, making Ara stop her steps and wake up from her daydream. "You why the hell, I'm the one who is heartbroken even you who are not excited like this?" ask Arumi.

Not yet Arumi got a response from Ara, but he saw Bima who was also looking at him.

Arumi tried to smile at the lecturer, but Bima immediately turned her eyes and walked towards the parking lot.

Arumi fused her eyebrows together, like she had an answer to a question that Ara had not answered.

"You have a problem with Mr Bima?" ask again.

"No" answered Ara.

"But, it looks like he's avoiding you?"

"You mean?"

"Eitherway! I'm also confused," Ara replied uninspiredly.

He then told her about his message that got no response from the man. Though yesterday they were fine, the man even invited her to get engaged.

"Is it possible for you to reject him and say something rude?" Guess Arumi.

"It seems impossible. Last night I said that I liked Mr. Bima, and gave all his decisions to me."

Arumi nodded in confirming. As long as he knew his best friend's father, he had never once heard the middle-aged man say harsh words, even when angry. So what makes the teacher behave strangely?

"Is it possible that his parents did not agree that Pak Bima was in a relationship with me?" said Ara in despair.

"Have you ever met his parents?" Ara shook her head in response to her best friend's question.

"But that's the only good reason why he's behaving like that, and maybe he's embarrassed to tell me, so he'd rather avoid."

Arumi stared fixedly at Ara's face that looked sad, "don't think that no first, maybe he again has a problem. You just wait, maybe he'll get back at it." Arumi smiled and embraced her best friend, trying to encourage her.

Three days had passed, and Bima was still avoiding Ara. It made the girl even more confused about her attitude.

Already many times Ara sent messages and tried to call Bima to ask for clarity, but the man never once gave a response.

I don't know what wrong Ara did to her. Is it possible that the girl was being played?

Arumi who is Ara's closest friend was made greget because of it. Until he decided to meet his teacher.

But he was confused where to meet him, he did not even know the man's home address. He also couldn't possibly meet her on campus, seeing how the man had always avoided them both.

Arumi kept watching Bima from a distance. Until Bima finally got into his car, Arumi immediately entered and sat down at the steering wheel right next to the lecturer.

"Arumy!" Bima was surprised to see Arumi who was already in his car.

"What's wrong?" tanyanya pretended to be stupid.

"I want to ask my father. What's wrong with you, Father? Why did you suddenly avoid Ara after you said you wanted to get her engaged?"

Bima did not immediately respond to the question that Arumi threw at him. He was thinking about the exact reason he would give his student. At least so as not to hurt Ara's feelings so much later.

"What's wrong? Why are you silent? Are you playing a game with my friend? Do you like to play with women? Have you got a more beautiful victim now?" sergeant Arumi who was very upset with the lecturer.

"Enough! I'm also sure you know that Ara is a rape victim."

Arumi was struck by lightning hearing Bima's words. He pecked and his lips were unable to answer the lecturer's words.

"You know my feelings for Ara are real. I love her very much. Even I had imagined that I would live and age with him." Bima dropped her head on the steering wheel of her car, grabbed her back hair to hold back her anger.

He doesn't know who to be angry with. He must be angry at himself who has fallen in love with the girl. Or even angry at Ara who has made her fall in love.

"Although so can't you take it?" arumi is weakening.

Bima raised her head, and re-enforced her seat, looking at the girl sitting next to her, "I think it's a mistake if I do. I'll bring disgrace to my family."

Arumi shook her head in disbelief at the lecturer's remark. He tilted one corner of his lips, looking down at the man before him.

"I'm also sure you're not a good man for Ara. And I'm glad he doesn't have to spend the rest of his life with a cool guy like you."

Arumi immediately got out of Bima's car and closed the door very hard.
