A Wound

A Wound
Chapter 41's

The morning after breakfast, Ara said goodbye to Mama Reta, to go to campus.

"Yes, careful. Oh yeah, go home to college mommy picked up. Temenin mama shopping. Mama took Rissa, but she seems to be very busy today" Mama Reta said.

Rissa is currently undergoing a koas at one of the hospitals. This makes it very rare to be home.

"Yes, okay. Ara's gonna call Mama when Ara gets home."

"OKAY. Mom wait, yeah!"

After confirming her mother-in-law's words, Ara then went out to Ibra's car, which had been waiting for her since.

Ibra immediately drove her car, to his wife's campus. And dropped Ara right in front of the campus.

"Hi!" greet someone who is currently walking on the side of Ara, in the corridor of the campus.

"Gita! What's up?" sahut Ara, slow down his pace.

"I hear you're married, huh?" ask Gita.

"Yes, Alhamdulillah already," replied Ara with a small smile.

"I'm glad to hear it. Apparently there are still people who are sincere with you and accept you as you are. Not like Mr. Bima, who can't accept your past."

Ara flinched in shock and stopped her steps, hearing the girl's words. "You mean?"

"What do you mean talk like that?" sergeant Arumi, pull Gita's shoulder. Who apparently heard the conversation of the two.

"What the hell!" Gita brushed off the rough Arumi hand that was on her shoulder.

"You are what. You think I don't know, if you tell Mr. Bima everything" Arumi said. "I feel sorry for you. You did that, so you can get close to Pak Bima, right? But baby, it seems like your plan has made no progress" he added in a mocking tone.

"You can't just say yes!" he screamed, unconscious. Gita widened her gaze. Embarrassed by the other students staring at him.

Ara who heard Gita's anger also widened her gaze. Then immediately pulled Arumi's hand. Take her best friend away from Gita, so the two don't make a fuss.

"Poor!" arumi whispers in Gita's ear, before Ara pulls her away from the girl. And it succeeds in making Gita even more upset with him.

"What do you mean?" ara asked, letting go of her hand on Arumi's arm, as she felt that she was far away from Gita.

"What's wrong?" Miya who had just approached the two, knitted her eyebrows together, was astonished to see Ara who looked angry at Arumi.

"There's nothing" replied Arumi flatly.

"So you don't want a story?" asked Ara while stopping her steps.

"What the hell is this?" asked Miya, the more curious.

His best friend was rarely angry with both of them. If any of them were at odds, it would be him with Arumi. And Ara was always the mediator between the two of them.

"There's nothing. It doesn't matter either" replied Arumi indifferently. He did not even intend to explain everything to Ara. Because according to him, it is no longer important.

Seeing Arumi who continued to be silent without any intention of answering her question, made Ara leave just like leaving her two best friends.

At this time he was really disappointed in his friend. Although actually he can understand everything, but he still hopes that Arumi will explain everything.

Bima is seen entering the classroom Ara. Because today is the schedule to teach her in the class of women.

When he first entered the room, Bima's gaze hit right on Ara's eye bead, which was currently also staring at him.

Ara quickly lowered her gaze. Right now he was really very ashamed of his lecturer. After knowing the truth about why the man was avoiding her, it made her really want to disappear from the man's sight.

Throughout Bima's lesson hours, Ara continued to lower her gaze. Never for a second did he take his eyes off the table before him.

Bima who realized the strangeness of the woman continued to throw a glance at Ara. Although usually Ara always flat on him, but at least the woman still noticed him while he was explaining the lesson he brought. But not this time. Makes Bima wonder about what made the woman behave like that.

Arumi who saw Ara's attitude, sighed. He could understand how his best friend was feeling right now.

"Sorry!" said Arumi, who was currently standing by Ara's side. After Bima came out of their room.

Ara looked up and smiled, "yes it's okay. Everything is over anyway."

"Oath yeah, I really don't understand what's really going on with you guys" said Miya.

"No need, if you don't know..to the canteen!" bring Arumi. Which was later confirmed by both.

During the day as promised, Ara called Mama Reta. Tell him that his college hours are over.

Not long after, Mama Reta, who was delivered by her driver, was in front of the Ara campus.

After getting a message from Ara who asked her to wait for him for a while, Mama Reta continued to investigate out, watching one by one the students passing by. I hope one of them has a favorite daughter-in-law.

Because it was not so patient waiting, finally Mama Reta decided to get out of the car and intend to find her own whereabouts Ara.

"Tante Reta!" greet someone, as Mama Reta walks down the corridor.

"Yes?" Mama Reta squinted both eyes, as she felt the young man standing right in front of her at this moment seem so foreign.

"Aunty forgot? It's me, Bima," said Bima smiling.

"Male? Jeng Marni's son?" guess Mama Reta, who was later confirmed by Bima.

"Oh my God, I'm sorry my aunt didn't recognize you. What are you doing here?"

"I'm teaching here, Auntie. What's aunt doing here?"

"Tante wants to pick up a aunt's daughter-in-law."

"Holy?"

"Yes, that's it he's come." Mama Reta points out the appearance of her daughter-in-law. "Mom!" call him. Makes Bima shocked to hear it.

Ara who saw the whereabouts of Mama Reta immediately approached her in-laws.

"I'm sorry, Ma. Just suddenly the lecturer called Ara," he said regretfully.

He then turned his gaze to Bima, who was currently also looking at him full of search.

"It's okay, honey.... Oh yes, Bima. This is Ara Ibra's wife" he told Bima. "Do you know each other?"

Bima ended her gaze on Ara and turned to Mama Reta. "Yes, it just so happens that Ara is one of my students."

"Well, that's good. Then you take care of your aunt's daughter-in-law. Don't be bothered with other students" he asked.

"Yes, auntie don't have to worry." Bima smiled, then turned her gaze to Ara.

He really did not think that the woman was married. What that woman felt like to her. Even his own feelings were still very difficult for him to lose. This time he really lost the woman. The woman who had still filled his heart.

Mama Reta then said goodbye to Bima. And do not forget to send greetings to the Bima family. After finally leaving the man.

"The boy is getting more handsome" Mama Reta said, as they were already in the car.

He then turned his eyes to Ara. "Oh yes, Ara. Is Bima married?" tanyanya enthusiastic.

"It doesn't seem like it yet, Ma."

"If you set her up with Rissa, then Rissa would, wouldn't you?" tanyanya.

Ara who did not know what to answer, chose to be quiet. Mama Reta said, "do you know, that kid was so sweet."

"Mama has known Mr Bima for a long time?" ask Ara.

"We used to be neighbors, but after my mom moved in. We've never been in touch again" he explained, who later got a nod from Ara.

Throughout the walk, Mama Reta just kept talking about Bima. Makes Ara feel a little uncomfortable because of it.
