Missing Part 4 (Hororary Story)

At 3 o'clock just as we reached the camp and the atmosphere there was very quiet.

“hulfah.” cried Davi called him but Fitri's voice sounded out from inside the women's tent.

“where is Hulfah?” ask Davi.

“just left with Dicky, he said he found Dina and needed help to save her” Fitri replied rather worriedly.

“Dina? The deq! Dina congratulations!” mia shouted expectantly.

“but.. but I saw it...” got my voice stuck when Mia cut back my words “no! You must have seen it wrong, definitely!”

“so where are they?” mia asked enthusiastically.

“I don't know, I just saw them out tent” Fitri said.

Ika was still unconscious at that time, Lina and Dian seemed too tired to fall asleep.

A few minutes later, Dicky came in with a slight superficial stab wound to his left abdomen.

“please..” he said weakly then fell beside the rest of our bonfire.

Mia approached him in a panic.

“what happened? Where is Hulfah? Dina where?” mia asked frantically while examining Dicky's wounds.

“Deq, he was injured quite badly” Mia said calling me.

I started to approach him. I checked the wound on his stomach, though,

“what happened to your stomach?” ask me calmly.

“someone, someone took them all hostage said Dicky moaning in his pain.

“I managed to escape and got this stab wound” he said again explaining.

Dicky lifted up, he stood up.

“ayo we save the others!” he said while pulling my collar.

“no Dicky, you have to rest first” said Mia somewhat holding her shoulders.

I already hold the key word of all this trouble. And that keyword is ‘Dicky’.

“Davi, come with me!” I said while pulling his right arm.

“what's Deq?” the question is rather serious.

“listen!” I said firmly “I didn't see wrong, I actually saw Dina's corpse in the hole when I came down earlier”.

Davi slightly held her breath and looked at me seriously.

“On his left Dav!” I said a little pressing Davi “ada big hole in his left chest.. like... like his heart has been lost” connect me again kind of whispering.

Davi started glaring at my words earlier. He between believing and not believing in my words.

“hey Deq! Come!” yelled Dicky who was beside Mia.

Dicky takes Bayu with us while Davi is assigned to look after the women at the camp.

I started exploring the forest with Bayu and Dicky. Half an hour later, Dicky stopped.

“ here?” I asked Dicky.

“not” he replied “awhile longer, are you tired?” said again.

“why Bayu come?” my many.

“what do you mean?” ask Dicky. “of course we need help Bayu” continued with a smile.

“that's enough!” I said snap at him. “you're too confident Dicky! it's obvious you're outnumbered here” my connection.

Dicky turned his body against me. He looked at me sharply, then smiled.

“so you already know ya?” he smiled “that's why you shouldn't have come here, but somehow after I was scared through a mysterious phone in the middle of the night you still came” Dicky continued confidently with his thin smile that was very creepy.

I took a knife tucked in my pants and injured Dicky's left arm. A violent punch landed on his face and made him collapse even close to fainting. Bayu hit me in the face very hard, an attack I didn't expect at all.

“Wood! What are you doing?” my yell snapped at Bayu.

“forgive me Deq” said Bayu while helping Dicky stand up.

“i also include the person who is behind all this”.

I was struck by Bayu's statement.

“apa?” I said, “Bayu?… You?… there's no way” my body stiffened in disbelief with the reality that Bayu said. “but, you..” stuck my sentence.

“iya, everything is Deq's play. I'm actually friends with Dicky. But all this time we kept it a secret” Bayu a little storytelling.

“but, why?” ask me weakly.

“because I don't want you guys to treat me the same as him. You guys are outrageous about Dicky. Nobody wants to talk to him, nobody wants to play with him. When Dicky told me about the plan, I was immediately willing to help him” Bayu was silent for a moment.

Suddenly Mia and Davi come out of the bushes and Mia yells “what are you doing Deq?” while approaching us.

I quickly tied Dicky's hands behind his back.

Bayu tries to help Dicky but deftly Davi manages to get in his way.

“Mia help me..” Quote Dicky.

“Mia stay there” I said calmly as I extended my hand to ask her to stop.

“dan Dicky, the game is over!” I said out loud “you want to confess now or I have to explain everything?”.

“Dedeq! Stop acting like you are Sherlock Holmes!” snarled Mia to me.

It was the first time I was yelled at by Mia as long as I knew her. All I know is she's the gentlest woman I know in school. And okay, maybe I'm too acting hot here. Maybe I did have a crazy 24th because I felt like detective Sherlock Holmes. But the truth I know, the one I hold right now has to do with the lives of my friends. I won't let go of Dicky until all my friends come back.

“well Dicky, we I started from the beginning” I said breaking the silence after Mia snapped at me.

“you are the weirdest person in the class and no one wants to be friends with you at school, except Mia. The idea of camping in this forest was your idea, completely your idea. I know that and I made sure through Mia” that I made Dicky raise his head to me.

“Mia can't possibly tell you!” dicky Sawhut rebelled.

“he didn't tell me, but last night before we left here, when we were done talking about this jungle holiday. I wrote your name on the piece of paper I showed Mia, and she nodded. That's enough”. Everyone was silent to my words.

But when I first heard Fitri's story saying that you came and went with Hulfah to help Dina. I've started to suspect because you must be lying” my sentence stopped.

Dicky's defense is weakening. Smiling he asked “how do you know it's a lie?”

The pattern around your wound shows that the wound was caused by a short knife that is very sharp and has a pattern on the end of the handle near the knife eye. “how do you know?” ask Mia.

Dicky's words made Mia speechless.

“you lied! There is nothing wrong with my deduction earlier” I said confidently.

Mia looks pretty hit. He dropped his body so that he stood on both knees.

“Dicky?!” said “I can't believe it! You're using me!” scream Mia.

“i trust you so much, and you just use me!” mia's sentence is getting weaker.

“sorry Mia, because I have let you down. You are still the sun in my life” Dicky said very gently “and also, thank you for smoothing out my plan” continued with a smile.

Mia lay weak, she was helpless against the strange reality she had just known. But Davi swiftly caught it, now Mia lay weak in Davi's lap.

Dicky asked me again “oh Dedeq, you haven't answered my question. How do you know I lied to Hulfah?”.

“because” answered me “I saw with my own eyes that Dina had died in a hole you made under that shallow but precipitous abyss. There was a strange expression on Dicky's face. She seemed confused by my statement earlier, different from her previous expression.

Dicky was silent, his gaze blank.

“impossible” sentence spoken from his mouth after he was like painstakingly swallowing his saliva.

“Dina can't die Deq!” he said again with a somewhat trembling expression.

I stared intently at his eyes, which were only a few inches in front of my eyes.

I heard Mr. Ardi screaming from the darkness behind me. He kept shouting to call our names. Davi said very loudly. And Mr. Ardi's voice slowly drew closer. There were a lot of footsteps I heard getting closer from the same direction.

I saw that my watch was showing at 5 o'clock just as Mr. Ardi and several residents and two police officers arrived at our place. The female friends we asked to wait at the camp also joined Mr. Ardi. He was shocked by the situation, and was surprised to learn the truth.

Mia finally regained consciousness after a moment of fainting. The first thing he did after coming to his senses was stand up and walk towards Dicky.mia slapped him very hard.

“quickly show me where my friends are! You really are trash” said Mia while holding back her tears.

Dicky still won't admit that he killed my missing friends. He insisted on just keeping them in a separate place that he had prepared. With his hands tied, Dicky led us all to one place at a time where he was holding.

We found Haris half-consciously hanging on a tree with only his left hand and feet tied to the tree. We managed to bring it down.

Lina leads two citizens to take Haris to the camp. Then we found Ary. And this time it's Dian's turn to lead the two citizens to take Ary to the camp.

About 15 minutes we walked and were still guided by Dicky to the next shelter. Dicky stopped under a large banyan tree.

“I don't know... what happened.” Dicky started to rummage again.

“I understand I understand I understand... Where have I been? Why can't I think clearly” added to make it look crazy.

“witch us all, no one will survive” Dicky keeps rummaging unclear.

I'm silent a thousand languages think of it all. I really don't understand what's going on here.

Davi reprimanded me “hei, can you explain it to me? Why is Dina's body here?”.

I just kept quiet.

“you've noticed it Deq? It's not all as simple as you explain” Dicky said as he stared intently at my eyes.

“there is something else in this forest, not just us in this forest!” emphatically.

“you see those bodies? I wouldn't be able to do it. Look their hearts have gone!” dicky said a little screamed.

“see me Deq! Am I too clean to do it?” dicky said it made me more confused.

The atmosphere became increasingly tense because the wind suddenly blew louder. There were strange sounds that were very creepy from the squeaks between the branches of pine trees that crowded this forest.

“wait a minute, we do not have to think strangely-strange” said Mr. Ardi made me look at it rather sharply.

Then Dicky laughed.

“meaning father, all this can surely be explained logically. Anty's still missing, right up until now? And Dicky insisted on not abducting him” Mr. Ardi said again

I stiffly answered.

“I don't understand” I said very slowly and full of question marks.

“there is only one suspect, there is only one who can do it here” Dicky said with a very creepy face.

We all looked at him with very serious eyes.

“Silvia.. Silvia Devi Kharisma Putri” said Dicky forwarded with thunderbolt that made all the guts shrivel.

“you, the Batok villagers. You guys know better the story”. “and yes I know all this because I am also from here” Dicky continued.
