YUCIA Love Story

YUCIA Love Story
3. Raining

Yudha was sitting limply on the wooden chair behind her. Her mind was instantly full, trying to disbelieve what Erina said, but the ring Erina was wearing was strong evidence that she was indeed engaged. Wh why? Yudha was eager to slam something to vent her frustration, but she shook her head realizing that the woman who hurt her was still standing in front of her.

“Why? Why did you break that promise? Just because I didn't give you any news, you can't wait to get into a relationship with someone? I can give you what you are, I can guarantee your life properly, but why did you choose another man you don't know?” nyinyir Yudha with a tone of voice that sounded disdainful.

“If we get married later, I believe he can also give me a good living because he is a quite famous businessman, Yudha. You do not need to regret your actions and feel that you are the one who can make me the most happy, because there are still others who can make me happy,” Erina replied.

The woman looked back, as if she was making sure that no one else was paying attention to her here. Having been convinced that no one was following her, the woman's footsteps drew closer to Yudha, who now seemed devastated.

He held onto Yudha's shoulder with his hand and rubbed her gently. “I'm sorry, I'm really sorry. But you have to find your future. I can't accompany you anymore and I'm sorry if I have so many mistakes. Maybe we can't get married, but we can continue our friendship. Sorry, I have to go now.” Erina smiled wryly, then her steps began to move away leaving Yudha who buried her head in her bent knees.

His heart was completely broken. The expectations he had had melted together with the wind that was carrying him flying disappeared swallowed up by reality. Five minutes ago Yudha still had a beautiful picture of her marriage to Erina, but soon the expected arrival of the woman would be his wife, hurt her and stepped on her with the heart.

“No, please don't go. I can't lose you,” said Yudha.

The man immediately stood up and looked at Erina's shoulder which was starting to move away. “Erina!” call him out loud.

The woman turned her reflexes, Yudha immediately ran as soon as the woman's steps came to a halt right in front of the park entrance. Without asking for permission, Yudha immediately dropped herself into Erina's arms which made the woman instantly shocked.

“Erina, please don't leave me. I beg you, marry me. I promise to make you happy more than that man, I beg you.” Yudha pleaded with frustration. His two hands coiled around Erina's waist tightly, as if unwilling to take the woman off.

“Yudha, release. People will think you are crazy.” Erina immediately pushed Yudha's body backwards until the man almost fell down if he did not balance his weight.  “Sorry, you have to accept this reality. I can't continue an unclear relationship, so I beg you never to disturb my life again,” Erina said full of threats.

Without giving any mercy, the woman immediately went to step smoothly into her car leaving Yudha who was still standing near the garden door like a madman. Her hair was already very disheveled, her tears began to flow uncontrollably, while her mind had blankly stared at Erina's painful departure.

“Why? Do I not deserve to be happy, Lord? Do you hate me?”

After the vehicle that Erina was riding in completely lost sight of, Yudha returned to the chair with a stagger like a person who had just finished a bottle of red wine. The man sat there and was silent even until the originally bright sky turned into a gray cloud, Yudha did not care anymore.

“You can't go home first? You haven't been home for a long time, you spend the big days in the dorm. Do you miss me and your parents?” erina asked, her voice soft. Yudha not infrequently recorded his conversation with the woman in order to continue to remember her. “Although you are lazy to set foot at home, but you should see their faces occasionally,” Erina suggested.

“There is still a task. I can't just go home and go as I please. I really wanted to go home, but I couldn't. I have to obey the rules here.”

“But, ‘kan, it's time off.”

“Indeed, but I feel that I can't go home, Erina. I know, I also want to meet you, but it's like something's holding me back from coming back this time. You know, ‘kan, how is my family? Honestly, I was lazy to go home because I was lazy to see the sickening scenery,” Yudha replied while leaning her head on the pile of mattresses.

“At least go home for a moment for me.” Erina pleads.

“I'll be home as soon as I get married to you. You still want to wait for me, ‘kan?”

“Yes, I will still faithfully wait for you until whenever you come here to marry me. I won't be with another man, believe me. But you must keep your promise and do not disappoint me.”

“No will.”

Yudha still vividly remembered the conversation she and Erina had three years ago. Small conversations about their promise to get back together Yudha never forget. Erina never gave any sign that she was leaving Yudha. The long distance realtionship that Yudha thought was going smoothly turned out to kill her in the final episode. He did not expect that he played a role as a character who was hurt. Yudha always kept her heart for Erina and always prayed for good for Erina, but unfortunately Yudha lost and she had to leave.

Drizzling down, some park visitors started running away from the place to find shelter or some of them went straight into his car. But not with Yudha who let drizzle over her body. The man did not have the slightest intention to move out of the garden.

“Mas, the rain starts rushing, you should take shelter and not here.” A middle-aged man with a rainbow motif approached Yudha.

The man looked up, then shook his head slowly. “No. I'm not intending to take shelter, you better get on with your work and don't mind me. I still want to be here until the rain makes me lose,”.

The man did not seem to understand Yudha's words until he decided to leave. While Yudha was still sitting there even when the rain had started to fall profusely soaking his body.
