Letter From the Dormitory

“This is the hundredth question I've heard from Dad's mouth,” sambar Yudha. 

“Father just make sure,” said. 

Yudha has been thinking about Ciara lately. He seemed unable to forget the woman despite having been in a relationship with Erina this year. 

“Dad only hope you don't get the wrong choice of wife like you used to do. Dad married Farah, but it turns out he only wanted Dad's treasure. You should be careful and do not be rash just because of the appearance. Erina is beautiful, but does she really treat you well? And is your heart indeed fixed on Erina?” The father looked at Yudha inside after finishing his meal. 

Yudha shook her head faintly, “I myself do not know,” softly. 

“Package!” The door knocked from outside.

Yudha immediately got up leaving the dining room, walked forward and found a special courier who was already standing on the porch of the house. “Letter from the dorm, Mas,” he said as he reached out to Yudha. 

The man immediately took it. “Thank you.”

“Letter from the dorm? More tasks?” guess the Father. 

Without answering, Yudha immediately tore the envelope and read the contents. It turned out the same as before, that this time Yudha got the task again for guarding in the village that was further away than before. “I get another assignment, Dad. Is it okay if I stay?” tanyakanya. 

Andri nodded steadily. “It's okay, after all I don't want to be a burden for you to be guarded 24 hours. Farah's departure should not be used as an excuse by you to always take care of Dad. Just pray that the woman will not come back here, and go to devote yourself to the country,” said Andri. 

Yudha nodded her head, then immediately went to the room to pick up the device on the table and contact Erina. 

“Halo, Yudha,” greet Erina. 

“Halo, Erina. Are you empty today? If I could, I would like to see you today,” said Yudha, slowly. 

“What time to puskesmas?”

“Two hours left.”

“Two hours ahead means empty?”

“Yes, what's wrong? Is there something you want to ask me?” ask Erina. 

“There's something I want to say. Erina, I'll go back and do my duty. Father is fine, so maybe I will focus on this task until it is completely finished. I don't want to waste my time in vain. Because if I make an excuse again, maybe I'll be expelled right now. That's why I don't know when I'll be back. I hope you will be fine here,” Yudha said. 

When saying that sentence, it was as if part of his heart had turned away from Erina's figure so that Yudha did not mind in the slightest if he had to say goodbye at this time as well. Her feelings for Ciara turned out to be much stronger than the desire to marry Erina, but wanted to tell the truth even Yudha was unable to. The man was really worried about how he felt. 

“Ah that, it's okay. Careful. I'll wait for you if possible. I will make sure if the previous bad events will not be repeated again, Yudha.” 

Yudha smiled wryly. “Unfortunately that's not the point. I don't want you waiting for me, Erina. Isn't waiting for something uncertain it won't calm you down? I'm sorry, but I want to end this relationship. I feel that we are no match and I hope that you can find someone much better than me,”. 

“Yudha—” Erina's voice turns vibrating. 

“Thank you for loving me and for coming back. But I'm sorry I couldn't go on. I hope we both find happiness soon each of us.” 

After that the connection is cut off. Yudha stared at the dark screen, then immediately tidied his belongings into a bag to leave later in the afternoon and the gathering point at the port as usual. He hopes he has decided the right thing even if it hurts a little.
