21. Returning

After getting permission, Yudha immediately left her duty. Not knowing when the task will come back, but his mind is now only on the father and the message from Erina that he really still loves. 

After a day on the boat, he finally reached the port of the city where he lived. The man went straight down, then walked through the dock to the exit. But before actually heading home, the man stopped his legs briefly right in front of the stall that read “Hewa Handpohone a maximum of one hour”.

“I have to contact Erina,” lirih Yudha. 

The man went straight into the small room, there were several cell phones that could be used. The man paid the hourly rate, then started calling Erina quickly. 

“Halo,” greet a woman. “This who?”

“Halo Erina, I'm Yudha. I'm back in port now. I can see you tomorrow.”

“Don't, let me go to port now.”

“No, it's pretty far. You'll only get here two hours later.”

“I can go faster than that. Don't go anywhere I'll pick you up.”

Instantly the connection is severed. Yudha clucked slowly, then exhaled a sigh of resignation. If Erina had already acted, it was hard to stop. Therefore Yudha walked forward and sat on a wooden chair while watching the human traffic that had busy at the port. 

About two hours later, a woman in a white shirt and blue pants approached Yudha, and without further ado hugged Yudha tightly. The man had been frozen by Erina's slightly strange behavior, before he finally started rubbing Erina's shoulder as soon as he heard the sobs of the woman. 

“Yudha, it feels like I have been evil to leave you for a man who never really loved me. Mom asked me to marry her so their family wouldn't fire Dad from his job. My father made a fatal mistake, he didn't smoke in the barn and left his cigarette half-living near the pile of cardboard until somehow, when Dad came out, the barn had been smoky and burned. Fortunately the warehouse can still be saved but Dad's career has been on the cusp of failure. Therefore, in exchange he wants to marry me to pay for all those losses.” Erina began to tell it in Yudha's ear in a sobbing voice. He did not let go of Yudha's embrace. 

“I really have no other choice. Although I told them about you, but they told me to let you go for Dad's career. In the end, I let it all end. I'm engaged to him. I thought I could forget you, but I couldn't, Yudha. I always remember you and always make mistakes with her, until she finally slaps me when I accidentally say your name in front of her. He was really hard, so because I couldn't anymore, I finally chose to leave him. Dad was fired, but he's not angry and he has got a new job again.” Erina explained. 

“We can start everything from scratch, ‘kan?” Erina asked as she let go of her embrace. 

Yudha nodded with a smile. “We start from the beginning again,” he said sincerely. 

There was not much drama, because Yudha knew that her feelings were still attached to Erina. After all what he had done was not his entire fault. Erina was only forced to leave Yudha, so there was no need for further drama to doubt Erina's feelings towards her. Erina was a good woman and Yudha testified to that.

While at her home, Ciara who had just finished cooking an omelet sat on top of the living room chair. To be honest in the deepest recesses, the woman awaited the arrival of Yudha who might visit her home. However, there was no sign the roa would be here. The last time Yudha gave him news was through a letter he found in front of his house last night. That means Yudha has indeed known Ciara's house. 

Ciara took the device from beside her plate. Today he promised to call his friend. Finally opened social media, but he had not been able to find the name of Marlina, his friend had already sent a lot of messages. 

Marlinas 

Hey, Ra, your foster brother already has a girlfriend, huh? Look, I found her boyfriend's post five minutes ago in the harbor. Is your brother back home?

Ciara was surprised to see the portrait that Marlina had sent. Indeed Ciara never told him anything about his life, so his friend did not know about the complicated relationship between Ciara and Yudha. But that is not the problem, but a portrait of a woman who smiled with Yudha with ‘So in love with you, my bf. Everlasting’ it really makes Ciara claustrophobic. 

“Mas Yudha is back? She's back with her ex-boyfriend?” Ciara instantly turned off the device, and kept it away from her.
