Chapter.53 Take the pledge

The star appears to be playing in front of her school while waiting for Rina to pick her up. Earlier, her homeroom teacher had told her that today her mother would be a little late to pick her up, because there was an obstacle.

"Hi, good boy." The star appears to stop its steps when it hears a greeting from a nearby adult male. He looked at the adult male from toe to toe, as if he was remembering what he saw.

The star took a step back, feeling afraid of the foreign man who suddenly greeted him. He circulated his gaze, looking for the usual security guards standing guard around the gate.

However, his eyes did not see a single security officer there, until suddenly even though his class seemed to pass, until the Star quickly called out to him.

"I'm a good boy, Om, I'm a submissive, too" said the star who made Anjas smile, feeling proud of his son.

Yes, that man is Anjas, he had been waiting in front of the Star school for the meeting with the boy. Until he finally saw the stars playing themselves in the school yard.

However, his steps came to a halt when he saw a person who now appeared to be standing in front of the school building. His heart suddenly thumped fast, with all the bad prejudices lodged in his heart.

"Why did he get in here?" muttered Rina while circulating her gaze to make sure that the Star has not met Anjas.

Anjas who saw the arrival of Rina, immediately walked over to the woman with an annoyed face.

"I want to meet my son!" anjas said directly, as soon as he got in front of Rina.

Rina widened her eyes, surprised by Anjas sudden request. He did not expect that Anjas had even been reckless to go to the Star school without his knowledge.

"For what?" asked Rina with a deep frown.

"Didn't you promise to tell Bintang that I'm his father?" anjas asked, charging for Rina's promise when they met at Rina's restaurant.

Anjas looked speechless with a surprised face, seemingly forgetting about Rina's condition to allow her to meet the Stars.

Rina was silent, she was waiting for an answer from Anjas, although she would not allow Anjas to meet the Star right now. Nah! Lina wasn't that stupid to be careless.

Rina did not want that until Arya would use it again, in order to get close to the Star and finally snatch the child from her.

"Yes, okay. I promise I won't ask for Star custody from you. But, allow me to meet him and acknowledge him as my son."

After a long silence, Anjas finally gave a decision to Rina. He would give up on getting to know his son. It seemed like Anjas was aware that he would not be able to get close to the Stars if he did not get help from Rina and Arya.

The child-type star was not easy to approach by strangers, and it was already visible from his attitude just a moment ago.

Rina took a deep breath until it seemed to fill the chest cavity, then exhaled slowly, before answering a word from Anjas.

"I'll introduce you to the Stars, but not now!" firmly Rina.

Anjas frowned, he did not like rejection, what else he had to go back to waiting. Really he felt furious with Rina's current attitude. That woman is so annoying.

"He's my son, Rina!" pissed Anjas.

"But, he's also my son, and I'm more entitled to it!" reply Rina, hurry.

"If you don't want to wait, then don't expect me to allow you to see my son!" continued Rina again, with a firm face and a cold tone of speech.

"Remember, he's a kid you never acknowledged! So don't be so power-mad over him!" Rina said straightforwardly before then turning around and walking away from Anjas without turning her head again.

Anjas clenched his hands, feeling a crushing defeat with Rina. The only thing he could not deny was that he had never once wanted to acknowledge the Star as his son, and it was his fault that he would probably always regret.

"Well, I'm waiting for your next news, I hope you won't be long." Anjas said a little louder for Rina to hear, then chose to go back to her car, after seeing her ex-wife disappear behind the school's concrete barrier.

It felt that now it was in vain that he had argued with Rina, because in fact he had indeed lost without being able to fight anymore. Rina never gave her any breathing room while arguing, the woman always said such a sharp and piercing word that it was hard for her to refute, because it was also a truth.

Meanwhile, Rina who heard Anjas' words only stopped her steps for a few seconds, then chose to continue when Anjas' voice was no longer heard.

Arriving at the teacher's room, Rina immediately approached Bintang and invited him home, after thanking her child's homeroom teacher.

Anjas could only look at Rina and Bintang who were walking towards the car, then entered and left just like that from the school area, without being able to say hello back.

Finally he could only leave with a hollow heart. Although he could only speak to the Stars a few words, but it had made the curiosity in his heart a little treatable.

Now the world has turned around. Fate brought him to a condition far below Rina. His mistake has left him with no power to fight the woman he once was a trivial and a waste.
