Wife Interlude
Chapter.22 The stopover

"But, I want soto," Rina murmured while turning her gaze to the side, hiding her teary eyes.

Anjas turned to look at Rina who seemed to shed tears without a sound, she clucked softly and then drove her car towards the soto food stall which was not far from her.

Already several times they ate there, Anjas knew that Rina really liked it. The man stopped the car in front of the small diner that looked crowded, he then opened his seatbelt.

"Wait here" he said, moving out of the car.

Rina saw Anjas wide back that was now more and more distant from her, the man seemed to enter the tavern, making a smile on Rina's face rise.

"Look, baby, your father wants to buy us a soto," muttered happily to Rina while rubbing her stomach, as if talking to the fetus in her womb.

About fifteen minutes into the wait, Anjas finally returned with a black plastic bag in his hand.

"Nih sotonya, satisfied?" Anjas thrust the plastic bag at Rina while sitting in the steering chair. The look on his face was very upset because he had to wait in line to get his wife's wish.

"Thank you, Mum!" rina exclaimed with a wide smile on her face, her eyes looking sparkling with pleasure just because of one serving of soto that Anjas gave.

"Heem, now that we go straight home, you have to rest to get well quickly and I can go back to the city" Anjas said, then restarted his car and prepared to leave the stall area.

Rina looked at Anjas, there was pain in her heart upon hearing the reason Anjas was doing good to her, just because she wanted to quickly return home to the city.

"If you want to go back to town, just go home. I can go home by myself" muttered Rina again closing the plastic bag on her lap and turning her gaze out the window.

"Where can I leave you sick here? What do your parents say later?" Anjas frowned, staring at the glint of Rina's face that returned grimly.

"They'll understand if I explain," Rina debated, without seeing Anjas.

"You explain what? You want to tell them that in the city I remarried and actually I don't love you, huh?!" anjas Sentak.

"If necessary, why not," said relaxed Rina.

"Then, why didn't you tell me from the beginning and walk away from my life? So I don't have to bother going back to this village." Anjas' emotions were again provoked by Rina's slow words that seemed to be insinuating her.

For some reason, his heart did not feel willing if until Rina said all that to her parents. Suddenly, Anjas is not willing if Rina decides to stay in the village and gives up on their marriage relationship.

Rina no longer replied, the pain in her heart was getting so much that she would not be able to hold back tears if she argued even longer with her husband.

"Crying again! Very crybaby you, Rin," Anjas grumbled staring panted at Rina who returned to shed tears.

After the debate, now silence became the atmosphere they chose to accompany the rest of the trip home both, until finally Anjas stopped his car at the race of Rina's house.

"Remove your tears, Rin. Don't let your parents know we've had a fight!" anjas said before getting out of the car first.

It looks like the mother who is waiting for Rina approaches them and opens the car door for Lina, then helps her out.

"Let me, Mom." Anjas wants to help Rina.

"No, you just rest, Rina let me help you get into the room. You must have cape to run Rina to the puskesmas," refused the polite mother, then walked ahead of Anjas to go inside with Rina.

Lina was silent, she did not refuse or approve of her mother's words. His eyes continued to avoid Anjas' gaze, until he was seen looking down.

It seems like her male in-laws have left, until now only her mother Rina lives at home.

"Mom, this was Mas Anjas buying soto for us to eat together. Can you help me prepare?" asked Rina politely while giving the black plastic bag to Mom.

"Yes, I'll prepare, then" replied Mother and then looked at the contents in the bag.

The middle-aged woman then paid her respects to prepare the soto in the kitchen.

That afternoon Rina was very happy, because for the first time Anjas granted her wish and bought her himself.

Although his heart was hurt by the reason Anjas did it, but, it was slightly treated by the pleasure that arose when his cravings were followed by the husband.

Anjas who saw Rina eating quite a lot secretly smiled faintly, her heart was quite calm, after this morning Rina was completely unable to eat due to continued nausea and vomiting.

.

Two days later, Rina and Anjas decided to return to the city. Rina who initially still wanted to live in the village, was not even allowed by her parents.

"Now you've come to town with your husband, son. Pity him if you don't come home, we've been together long enough anyway. Later if you miss us again, just call, change let Mother the same father who visited you, hem. Go home, it's not good husband and wife too long apart."

That was the advice given by Mother and Father when Rina whined to stay in the village for a while.

Not wrong indeed, everything said by Mother and Father is true, if the condition of her household and Anjas in normal circumstances.

However, the fact that there is and the absence of Rina on the side of Anjas, it makes no difference at all. Because, there is already Dance as a wife who is loved by her husband.

Rina's existence is only as a barrier that has been secretly trying to get rid of Anjas since the beginning.

Rina did not argue, she actually closed the meeting of her household with Anjas who was on the verge of collapse.

"I have to go home soon" Anjas said as he stopped his car in front of Rina's house.

Rina nodded. "Yes, I know."

The woman who is now four months pregnant was out of the car and then followed by Anjas, the man took a suitcase owned by Rina then put it on the porch of the house.

"I go home first, let me or Hilman know if you need anything" Anjas said after he sent Rina to the door.

"Heem." Lina simply muttered as she nodded back in response.

Rina kissed Anjas hand which was always reciprocated with a flash kiss on the forehead. Then she passes back into the car that was accidentally parked outside the house, and leaves Rina to meet Tari.

Rina stared at the passing of her husband, she then smiled bitterly when she realized that a kiss on the forehead was always a sign of goodbye for both.

"Going home? Am I just a scolding for him?" Rina muttered as she recalled Anjas saying when she said goodbye to him.

Rina shook her head slowly while smiling wryly, she then chose to enter the house that always made her lonely.
