"Wife, Father, is dehydrated and severely stressed. Supposedly, Father, as a husband, pay more attention to the health of the wife, Father, in a young pregnancy like this. Because at a time like this, a wife really needs the attention of the people closest to her, especially her husband!" The doctor explained as well as giving directions to Hilman who could only stare confusedly and was surprised to hear all the doctor's explanations.
"In a young pregnancy like this, the wife tends to be easily stressed, because of the hormonal changes she experiences," continued the doctor again.
"Wait a minute, Doc," said Hilman raising one of his hands, stopping the explanation from the doctor in front of him.
"Doctor, tell me she's pregnant?" tanya Hilman looked at the puzzled doctor in front of her.
"So, sir, don't know if your wife is pregnant?" the doctor asked with a surprised face.
"I'm not her husband, Doc," Hilman said, staring at the doctor in front of her.
It's good that she said I'm her husband, the first night is not yet, the time has been able to get people pregnant, Hilman grumbled in the heart.
"Aren't you, Father, the guardian of this patient?" the doctor asked, confused.
"I? I'm her brother, Doc," replied Hilman in reply to the origin.
"Oh, brother. If so please tell my sister-in-law, Father, what I have explained," said the doctor.
"Good, Doc. Thank you," said Hilman although in his heart still feel upset.
"It's been called, Father. Now even her husband is thought to be. I guess this is my fucking day!" hilman grumbled as he sat beside Rina's gurney.
That night Hilman was actually waiting for Lina in the hospital, she even fell asleep with her head bowed on the side of the gurney.
Rina who woke up in the morning, shed her tears, when she saw there was a man beside her. But it was not the husband, but a man whom he did not even recognize at all.
Rina seemed to get up, she saw an infusion hose attached to the back of her left hand.
"Are you awake?" hilman asked as she straightened up, she woke up from feeling Rina's movements.
"Yes. Thank you for bringing me here," said Rina as she gradually moved to the side of the gurney and lowered her legs.
"Where are you going?" Instead of answering Rina's thanks, Hilaman asked again.
Rina seemed to be exhaling roughly, before answering Hilman's question.
"I'm going to the toilet."
"Let me take you." Hilman immediately stood up while taking the intravenous fluid bag that belonged to Rina.
"I can do it myself," refused Rina as she was about to take a bag of intravenous fluids from Hilman's hand.
"Can't, I'll take you." Hilman immediately distanced the intravenous fluid sac in his hand.
Rina was seen exhaling before finally choosing to follow Hilman's will, she walked towards the toilet.
His body felt weak until lazy to just argue with the man who had helped him.
Hilman went into the toilet and hung the infusion liquid on the hanger there.
"I wait outside" Hilman said before closing the door.
Rina simply nodded in response, the smile and joy that used to always rule her face had now dimmed and disappeared, after the pain incised by Anjas.
After the infusion ran out, Rina was already allowed to go home. Hilman drove back to drive Rina back to the hotel.
"Rin?" call Hilman amid the silence that was going on inside his car.
Rina who was pensive while looking at the road from the car window turned her head, looking at Hilman's face.
"May I ask you something?" hilman asked with a doubtful tone of voice.
"Yes," nodded Rina.
"I know from the doctor that you're pregnant? But, I saw on your identity card that you were still–" Hilman was unable to continue his words.
"You must think I'm a cheap woman chasing men on her own day, huh?" asked Rina while smiling bitterly.
"I am the wife of Anjas, we married betel six months ago," replied Rina quickly, even cutting Hilman's words.
Unknowingly Hilman immediately put the brakes on his car, making Rina almost hit. Hearing Rina's shocking confession, Hilman suddenly couldn't think.
"What?! I–it's impossible, Anjas loves Tari so much, they've been dating since college!" hilman defends his best friend.
Lina just smiled bitterly while leaning her body on the back of the chair.
"It's only natural that if you don't believe me, we'll just meet. I'm not asking you to believe me either" replied Rina who made Hilman look at her with a look of contempt.
The two fell silent again, until Hilman stopped his car in the hotel lobby.
"Thank you for everything, I'm sorry I've been troubling you. Now I can take care of my own life. Please tell Mas Anjas that I'm not something he can just leave to someone else" Rina said before walking out of the car, then walking back inside the hotel.
Hilman stared at Rina's departure with an illegible look, leaving the lobby after he could no longer see her.
"Basic Anjas jerk!" Hilman hit the steering wheel feeling annoyed and angry at his best friend.
Rina's attitude that seemed to have changed strongly and did not seek support to receive recognition from Anjas, instead made her believe the words of the woman she had just met yesterday.
While Rina seemed to sit quietly at the side of the bed, she inhaled a deep breath then let out a rough, all that she did repeatedly to slightly eliminate the tightness in the chest that was still felt.
"Now what should I do?" he felt confused himself.
The money he brought was only a little, it was definitely not enough to pay for the hotel where he stayed. Rani wants to go back to the village and live happily again with her parents.
However, she is also unlikely to come and say her current condition is being dumped by her own husband.
Long silent Rina again took her phone, she tried to contact Anjas again.
.
.
Meanwhile, in a fairly luxurious house, Anjas and Tari–, the newly married woman Anjas, were sitting in the family room with the two old Anjas.
"Where are you two going on your honeymoon?" ask Papah Anjas.
Anjas and Tari looked at each other then chuckled together.
"We plan to go on a honeymoon to the islands of Bali and Lombok, Pah," Anjas replied.
The new pair continued to stick, even Anjas' hands never escaped from Tari's waist.
"Well, good, though. The view is beautiful and perfect for a honeymoon. We concur. Isn't that right, Pah?" said the middle-aged woman who is none other than the mother of Anjas.
The sound of Anjas' phone shakes distract the happy family.
"Not lifted, Mum?" ask Dance to Anjas.
"Important" Anjas replied as he returned to pocketing his cell phone.
Not long after the vibrate of the phone stopped now the turn of the incoming message sounding. Anjas saw it again.
Reno: [Mas, I want to meet]
Reno: [Mas, please answer my message]
Reno: [At least give me some clarity first, Mas. Or I'll come to your family's house]
Anjas clucked softly at the incoming message from the contact he named Reno.
Actually it was Rani's number that she had deliberately disguised as Reno, so that no one would be suspicious of the relationship between the two.
