Chapter.35 The reunion

Time passes by, days change by weeks, weeks change by months, and months change by years. That's how time keeps us growing older in every moment we pass.

The sun shining brightly on the weekend, was something most people were looking forward to, and that too was what Rina was now grateful for.

The woman, who is now a mother with one child, appears to be sitting in the car along with a small child who appears to be bending her face.

"Udah dong, unfortunately Mama does not have to frown, later the handsome decreases you know." Rina looked cute chuckles when she saw her son's sulking face.

The six-year-old boy did not reply, he just kept his chest closed while throwing his face away, looking out the window.

Rina exhaled softly and then chose to stop her car by the side of the road. Rina then removed her seatbelt and shifted her body closer to the child.

"Dear star, Mama, I'm sorry, because it's made the stars wait a long time, hem." Lina hugged her sulking son.

The silent star, the warm embrace and the pleading face of the Mother were her weaknesses, she would never be able to refuse anything if it was about her mother.

The little boy knew enough that he had been raised by a mother herself, without a father figure accompanying him, until his mother must be able to take care of it well while looking for money to finance their lives.

Lina smiled and pulled her body to sit straight in the steering chair again.

"Today Mama admitted, if Mama is wrong and Bintang becomes a smart child who can forgive, Mama. So as the reward, Star, what do you want? Mama will grant it," said Rina, as she began to drive her car.

The star looked to look at Rina enthusiastically. He even shifted his seat until his body was completely facing the mother.

"Really, Mah?" ask Stars.

"Heem." Lina nodded while chuckling lightly.

"I'm going to the hospital to see Papa Arya!" the stars so cheerfully.

"Call Om Arya, Star," cut off Rina while rolling her eyeballs.

"No, I want to call Papa Arya, this is our agreement. And, because today Mama's wrong, so don't ban me." The star spoke like an adult, thus making Rina could only shake her head weakly while chuckling.

Since birth Arya has indeed become a special figure for the Star. Six years ago, after Arya saved Bintang from a critical period and learned of the situation of Rina who was divorced with Anjas, the man always took the time to meet Rina and the animals, at least once a month.

As time went on, and as the Star grew older, Rina's son grew closer to Arya, who had indirectly become the father figure's replacement for the Star.

"Hem, well then we go to the hospital now," replied Rina, then took the path leading to her destination.

"Yee, meet Papa Arya!" The stars exclaimed happily.

The two had just returned home from the birthday party of one of Bintang's schoolmates. The star sulks because Rina is late to pick him up, and makes him wait longer, even though Rina knows that the Star does not like such an event.

Not long after the car driven by Rina was already beautifully parked in the hospital area. Rina went outside first, then helped the Stars.

"Come on," he said as he reached out his hand which was immediately greeted by the Star, then both of them went straight into the hospital together.

Usually every one month, Rina will return to the village to see the development of agriculture there.

Rina opened a restaurant and cake shop that has now grown quite rapidly, during these two years. Capitalized from a course that she had done while pregnant first, then she developed self-taught with Internet capital.

Regarding the reason Rina chose to leave the village, it all happened because of the pressure so heavy from the citizens there.

At that time, the agreement between the Star that will call Arya and Papa occurred. The man came like a hero to Rina and the Stars, when their condition was precarious.

Arya also helped Rina find a home and business in the city, also accompanied her in building a business, so that Rina could handle it herself.

The star walked first, down the corridor of the hospital, behind him Rina seemed to follow while sticking a cell phone in her ear. It seemed like there was an important call from someone, forcing him to talk while walking.

For a while, Rina lost focus, until the sound of people falling followed by the cry of the Star rang out, making Rina who was standing far enough away from the Star instantly distract her.

He widened his eyes when he saw a shooting star sitting on the floor as a result of hitting someone. Rina hung up the phone and ran to the child.

"Star, are you okay, baby?" rina asked while helping Star wake up, and checked her state.

"I'm fine, Mah," replied the Star as she patted her slightly dirty bok*ng.

While someone who was hit by the Star just fell silent with a sculpting body, looking at the scene in front of him.

"Sorry, yeah. My son was not careful when he walked" said Rina while standing right in front of the man.

Lina instantly covered her mouth with widened eyes, as soon as she saw who the male in front of her was. He was surprised, until it felt like his lips had suddenly become twisted. Likewise with the man who looked surprised by the existence of Rina.

"R–Rina?" muttered that man who was none other than Anjas.

Anjas' eyes took a look at Rina's appearance which was very different from the last time they met. Lina looks beautiful in her current style. Anjas even opened his eyes several times to convince himself that the beautiful woman in front of him was his ex-wife.

Unlike Anjas, who seemed to be able to take his eyes off of Rina. The woman only saw Anjas at a glance and then turned back to the Stars. He decided to pretend not to hear Anjas's murmur. Even so, Rina can see clearly the change in appearance of Anjas who looks more mature than before.

"Let's apologize first" Rina told Bintang.

The star nodded at her mother then turned to look at Anjas.

"I'm sorry, Om, I didn't mean it" he said, bowing his head.

Anjas continues to stare at Rina, though the woman does not consider him at all. Now turning to the boy in front of her, she chose to squat in order to equalize her height with the child who was with Rina.

"Yes, it's okay. Om also apologizes, yes, for not walking carefully," Anjas said, holding the shoulder of the Star.

The star just nodded, his eyes looking at someone who was now seen walking at him.

"Father!" call him as he ran up to the man, making Anjas' hand slip off his shoulder.

"Hi, Papa's hotshot!" welcoming the man who was none other than Arya, he immediately brought the Star to his carrier to make the little boy laugh with joy.

Anjas looked towards the running Star, he saw how happy Arya and the Star were. Suddenly he felt a pain in the corner of his heart, when he saw the closeness of the two of them.

"Excuse me." Rina pamit then stepped over to the two men of different ages, without greeting Anjas at all.

Whereas Anjas could only nod then pay attention to the interaction between the three related people in his past.

Who's the kid?
