Perpetrator Threats

It's midnight. Richard was still sitting quietly in bed while Emma, who had stopped crying, returned to her desk. After a long time of typing, Emma turned off her laptop and leaned back in the chair and closed her eyes. Richard who saw that immediately stood up and approached Emma.

"Well, not there. Just sleep in bed let me sleep in the chair" Richard said in a slow tone. Emma did not answer. He got up and walked to the bed and threw down his body. Richard did not comment much. He chose to sleep in a chair. When Richard was about to fall asleep, he was suddenly shocked when he felt his shoulders touched. Richard immediately opened his eyes and was surprised to see Emma standing before him. He immediately stood up and rubbed his face with both palms.

"Come on, sleep in bed, not here" Emma said in a flat tone. Richard was overjoyed to hear Emma's words, but he tried to act ordinary. He nodded and immediately headed to the bed. Emma catches up with him and takes a sleeping position against Richard.

"This doesn't mean I've forgotten everything. I just feel sorry for you because you're not used to sleeping in a chair. If I'm used to it because I often do it while waiting for you who always come home late at night," Emma said then enveloped her body. Richard was a little surprised to hear Emma's words. He took a deep breath and exhaled slowly.

"Yes, I know, mah. This is my fault, but until when did you torture me like this, mah? Please, I am very sorry. I know it's not easy for you but please give me one last chance" Richard said.

"Enak ya so you. Apologize today tomorrow repeat the same mistake again, then apologize again, repeat again, again and again. If I used to be quiet and follow your path it's because I appreciate you. But now, I'm saturated. You don't respect yourself by continuing to make the same mistakes so I assume you did deliberately want to leave me." Emma said in a soft but firm voice.

"Well, I don't have any more words. You will no longer listen to my explanation. Now, I'm resigned. I'm ready to take any risks" Richard replied slowly. Emma took a deep breath and exhaled violently and closed her eyes.

"Sleep, I'm tired" Emma said.

Richard fell silent and closed his eyes. They went through the night with their own thoughts, bringing anger, disappointment, sadness and anxiety along with their night dreams.

The next day, as Emma prepares for the office, Richard offers to drive Emma to the office but Emma refuses.

"You don't work?" ask Emma. Richard shakes.

"I'm resting today, ma'am," replied Richard.

"I'm leaving" Emma said, then stopped her motorcycle.

"Thank you's. I can do it myself" replied Emma, then took her motorcycle off Richard. After Emma left for the office, Richard began taking care of homework. He forbade the maid in his house to work. He started cleaning the house, washing and cooking. Suddenly, his phone rang. He checked it immediately.

"Rany's? What's he calling me?" richard murmured when he saw Rany's name appear on his phone screen. At first he intended to ignore the phone from Rany but because Rany just kept calling him he was curious and finally he answered Rany's phone.

"Hallo?" said Richard.

"Where areyou? Why aren't you in the office?" Rany's voice rang out from across the call.

"It's none of your business. Stop calling me" Richard replied.

"Are you sure? Do you really want me to stop calling you? Or because you're afraid of your wife? You're a pathetic and cowardly man. Don't think I'll just shut up after you and your wife humiliate me. You won't be able to get away from me. You can't just leave me, Mr. Richard," replied Rany.

"Say, what do you want, Rany? I don't have time to listen to everything you say." Richard's voice was rising

Rany's laughter was clearly heard across the call when she heard Richard's words.

"I want you! Only you!" answer Rany.

"Crazy of you, Ran. I don't want to cause any more trouble" Richard said.

"Honorary Mr Richard, so you think I'm gonna shut up and let you hurt me? Let's see if you can get away from me or not. I'm sure you won't risk your reputation, will you? I'm waiting for you at the office right now" Rany said, then decided on her call. Richard ruffled his hair. His face flushed and his jaw expanded. He seemed to be holding back his emotions. He finished his job and went to the office.
