No marriage goes smoothly without problems. Cooperation between husband and wife in overcoming household problems is very important. Emma who had so much nurtured patience and endured the pain in her heart slowly began to feel empty.
"Darling, you don't work today?" Richard asked when he saw Emma lying down again after taking a bath. Emma shook her head, she did not answer. Richard who was preparing to go to the office suddenly felt a little worried. He glanced at his wife. Emma lay on her back with. she put her hands on her forehead and massaged her forehead. It looks like he is thinking about something. A moment later, he took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. Richard was not calm. He immediately approached Emma and sat down beside her.
"Darling, what's wrong? Is there something you're thinking about?" Richard asked while holding Emma's hand. Emma was silent for a moment then opened her eyes and looked at Richard.
"I'm fine." Emma answered briefly.
"Really?" Richard asked again. Emma nodded slowly.
"Tidqk to the office?" Richard asked while frowning. He feels unsettled. Emma shakes.
"I want to rest at home today" Emma replied. Richard was silent for a moment and nodded. He looked down and kissed Emma. Emma did not respond. After Richard leaves for the office, Emma wakes up and heads to her desk. He paused for a moment and started typing. Actually, he felt tired and did not have the spirit to shrink his writing but he tried to get excited again because his readers were waiting for the continuation of the story. He was typing while listening to his favorite music. Slowly his spirit came back. He began to relax and enjoy his typing activities. Just as he was about to stand up to get some drinking water, his phone rang. He glanced at his phone. Husband called. Answer the phone immediately.
"Hallo," Emma said to Richard.
"Dear, I'm worried about you. Are you all right?" Richard's voice rang out from across the call.
"I'm doing fine. Don't worry" replied Emma.
"All right, sweetheart. Don't go anywhere. Speak at home" Richard said to Emma.
"OKs. Thank you," Emma replied, then hung up. Emma put the phone down. He took a deep breath and exhaled slowly.
'Somehow my feelings have become this bargaining. In front of me you treat me well, but why behind me do you betray again, again and again? You may think I don't know but you're wrong. I know what you're doing behind my back. When should I be patient and endure? I'm just a normal human being.' Emma nodded and then massaged her forehead. He fell silent and stared blankly out through the window. Moments later, he picked up water, switched off his phone and resumed his work.
In the office, Devan is agitated after reading a message from Emma. Emma asked permission not to enter the office because she felt unwell. Devan tries to contact Emma but can't. He feels unsettled.
"Do I have to go to her house? Emma, please activate your phone. I'm so worried about you." Devan said alone. After thinking for a while, Devan decides to go to Emma's house. He bought fruits, cakes and vitamins and went to Emma's house. When he was halfway there, Devan stopped his car and looked confused.
"I don't think I deserve this. Emma is married. I should have known myself. I was too obedient to my feelings without considering anything else. All right, maybe I should hold myself back from coming to his house." Devan said alone. He stared blankly ahead. A moment later, he took a deep breath and exhaled slowly and then turned his car back to his office.
Emma fell asleep at her desk. He wakes up and wakes up when his phone rings. Richard, her husband called again. He picked up the phone.
"Darling, how are you. I can't focus on work because I think about you. Are you all right?" Richard's voice came from across the call. Emma leaned her body on the chair and rubbed her face with her left palm.
"I'm doing fine. I just woke up" Emma replied.
"Darling, don't go anywhere. Rest at home. If you need anything, just tell me, mah."
Richard's voice was heard.
"All right, thank you" replied Emma. After Richard ended his call, Emma began to think.
"Hmm, I don't know why I suddenly feel suspicious. He called me twice and said the same thing. He asked me to stay home and not go anywhere. Did he really care and fear that something bad was happening to me? Or is this just.... Ah, I don't want to be so bad, but it's a little weird because he's not usually like this. Ah, I don't know but now I want to go out for a while. I'm bored at home."
Emma said then stood up and walked out of the room.
The weather was very hot that afternoon. Emma was preparing to come out. Knee-length short jeans combined with a white shirt. She looks beautiful with casual clothes and natural make up. Her hair was tied up neatly. He drove his motorbike away from his home and headed to a new restaurant located on the beach. He took a seat in the corner directly facing the beach. The cold beach winds blow slowly. Emma ordered a glass of orange juice. He waited for the order while playing his phone. There's a message coming in from Devan.
[Emma, how are you? Sorry, I'm worried about you.]
"Thank you, Devan. I'm fine." Emma replied to Devan's message. Moments later, his orange juice order came. Emma took a deep breath and exhaled slowly and then gulped down the orange juice. He stared at the beach in front of him, occasionally looking at his phone. The orange juice is now half.
'I'd better have lunch here.' Emma sat down and gulped down again the orange juice. Just as he was about to call the waiter to order food, suddenly his eyes saw the figures of men and women who were in the parking lot of the restaurant.
'That man, isn't he.... Richard?" Emma's heart pounded after recognizing the figure of a man holding a woman in a parking lot. Emma rubbed her face with her palms and then looked back at the parking lot. Now, it is clear that Richard her husband is holding a woman. They were walking towards the entrance of the restaurant. Emma's body went limp for a moment. His heart is pounding ever more. He slowly turned his face, took the sunglasses out of his bag and put them on. He changed his sitting position. He refrained himself from looking. His hands trembled holding the glass that contained orange juice. Again he sipped it. He tried to calm himself.
'My hunch is right.' Emma batin. After a while, as he felt a little calm, he turned his face slowly.
"Deg!" His heart was beating fast again.
