The Secret of Infidelity

Not far behind Emma, looks Richard and the woman who came with him already table near the entrance. Sitting Richard sideways facing the woman. Both of them look very good at chatting. They both laughed. Emma looked at them for a while but they were completely unaware of it. Emma turned her face away. His mind was no longer calm. He has lost his appetite. His plan to order food was cancelled.

'I thought I wouldn't feel hurt when I saw him betray, but I was wrong. My heart is like being stabbed by thousands of needles. It's too painful. I can barely even swallow my own saliva. My chest feels so tight."

Emma took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. This time, the pain in his heart was greater than his anger. He glanced around her. There are a lot of people in that restaurant. He tried to calm himself down even though it was very difficult. He changed his position as before, facing the beach. Now, she could glance at her husband and the woman without having to turn her face again.

'Should I approach them and hit them? Should I berate them, vent all my anger and humiliate them here?' Emma dilemma. I want him to leave that place immediately but his heart is double. So excited to tell the real woman is Rani, Richard did not realize that his wife was in the same restaurant, even was looking at it. He and Rani were enjoying their meal.

'Alright, I should be able to hold back my emotions. I'll play neatly. Richard, let's see what this miserable wife of yours can do for you.' Emma nodded with a smile. A bitter smile that was forced.

Richard and Rani were casually enjoying the food without the burden. Emma waited until the two had finished eating. Richard had not realized that his wife was in the restaurant. He was too absorbed in the woman beside him. Emma tried to calm herself down, strengthen her heart and stood up. He did not take off his sunglasses. He stepped past those who were enjoying food and chatting happily and laughing. Emma passed Richard and Rani's desk. Richard, who was playing his cell phone, did not see his wife.

"Mba, here's the money." Emma said as she handed him two pieces of banknotes. The beautiful young lady standing at the cashier table smiled as she accepted the money given by Emma.

"It's too much sis," the girl replied as she returned a piece of money to Emma.

"I'm willing to pay for the two people at table six" Emma replied as she glanced at Richard and Rani.

"Okay, a minute. I count first," the girl replied with a smile. Emma nodded. She glanced at her husband. Richard and Rani are seen getting ready to leave.

Emma held her breath. His heart was pounding again. After the girl handed over the change, Emma immediately rushed out of the restaurant.

"Mba, how much is it?" Richard asked the cashier.

"Sorry, Sir. Already paid," replied the cashier with a smile.

"Have paid? Same who?" Richard asked while glancing at Rani. Rani shakes. Both look confused.

"The woman paid for it" the cashier replied, pointing outside the restaurant. Spontaneous, Richard and Rani look outside. Emma who was walking towards the parking lot turned her head for a moment. He saw Richard and Rani looking at him. Richard was surprised. His heart is pounding. He panicked.

"Rani, you wait here for a second" Richard said, running out of the restaurant. He immediately approached Emma and pulled Emma's walking hand slowly. Emma stopped her steps and turned her face away. Behind his sunglasses, his eyes were already glazed over.

Emma tried to strengthen her heart.

"Darling? Ii'm sorry. I'm...."

"What you're supposed to call darling is that she's there, not me."

Not yet Richard continued his words, Emma interrupted while pointing at Rani who was looking from a distance. He let go of Richard's hand which was holding tightly to his.

"Honey, I beg you, don't fuss here. I can explain everything. Let's go home. I admit, I was wrong. I'm sorry."

Richard said in a clear tone. His face was flushed with embarrassment.

"Ribust here? Don't worry, I won't do that. I don't want to waste my time taking care of this useless and boring thing. Go and take care of your woman. I'll be fine without you. One more thing, I don't need any more explanation from you because the evidence I saw with my eyes is clear enough."

"Mah, wait!" Richard exclaimed and pulled Emma's hand back. At that moment Rani came to them.

"What's this?"

Rani asked as she glared sharply at Richard. Emma tries to let go of Richard's hand but Richard holds Emma's hand as hard as he can.

"It's none of your business, Rani.Please leave us alone" replied Richard.

"What the fuck? Why are you saying that to me? Who is this woman? Is he...."

"Please, take your lover away" Emma told Rani.

"No. Rani, please go," Richard asked once more.

"You're confusing me. What exactly is Sda? Who're you?" Rani gets upset and asks Emma. Emma did not answer immediately. He looked at Richard.

" Would you answer me or me?"

Emma asked Richard. Richard was silent for a moment and then shook his head.

"I am Richard's legal wife, your lover."

Emma answered while looking at Rani. Rani is shocked to hear Emma's confession. Instantly, Rani becomes misbehaved. Richard roughly ruffled his hair, took a deep breath and exhaled it violently.

"Let me go. You should be in charge of driving her home. You can't leave him alone here. Please, let go of my hand" Emma said. Richard. Richard was silent for a moment and let go of Emma's hand. Without saying much more, Emma turned around and left Richard and Rani. Rani stared at Emma's departure. Richard looked down and massaged his forehead.

"You shouldn't have come here" Richard said and rubbed his face violently.

"So now, you're starting to blame me? How could I know that she was your wife when you told me that your wife was ugly and unkempt, when the reality was very different. Or maybe I was fooled. It could be that this woman was not your wife but your other mistress who claimed to be your wife." Rani said as she looked at Richard's face deeply. He looks very upset. Richard raised his face slowly.

"Don't make me dizzy with your unreasonable accusations, Rani."

Richard said and walked away from Rani.

"Richard! Richard wait!" Rani runs after Richard.

"What else is it? You can go home by yourself, right?"

Richard asked. Rani nodded quickly.

"No, I don't want to go home alone. You have to take me home. You can't leave me here" Rani said, drawing Richard's hand.

From a distance, Emma was still there staring at the debate Richard and Rani. He smiled bitterly and drove his motorcycle away from the place.
