The sound of the door being knocked impatiently was able to make Dirga wake up. It was Arghi who was still soundly asleep at the side. Dirga slowly got off the bed, ran down to open the door.
"Loh, Dirga's sister, right?" Ask the girl bangs with breathless breath. Dirga looked at Lisa from top to bottom. Judging from her appearance, it seemed like the girl had just finished performing. Coupled with the towering chalice on the girl's left hand.
"Yes, why?"
"Moon exists? School children are on the run, he said the same Moon Star has died. They don't like the Moon, play around with jokes with their lives."
Dirga looked at Lisa who was waiting for her answer. "Let's go in."
Dirga led Lisa to the second floor. Up there Arghi is seen in the doorway. Looks like the guy woke up.
"Kak Arghi is really big. Brother, the moon is there?" Now change Arghi who looks at Lisa sad. "Schoolers are too much to know. Time to bring life just to mengeprank!"
"Here," Arghi pulls Lisa's wrist into the Moon's room. Give me an envelope with Lisa's name engraved there.
"Thank you for being Moon's friend. Brother really appreciates you as the first friend of Moon in school. Congratulations on your victory. The moon must have seen you bring that trophy. I hope you can be sincere after this." Arghi passed by leaving the woman alone there. Give time to Lisa who is still sculpting without any intention to move.
"It's not a prank, is it?" Ask the wind.
After Lisa returns home, Arghi goes back to the Moon's room. Although it was painful every time he set foot there Arghi still came. Because that's where he felt the existence of his sister. It was as if the Moon was still sitting at the study table, doodling through paper to find answers to mind-boggling questions.
Arghi threw his body into the bed. The shadow of the Moon lying beside him was as if present. Honestly, it still feels like a dream. Haven't changed days since the news of their departure, Arghi's been longing hard.
"What are you doing again?" Ask who it is.
"Bin, you're laughing at me again huh?"
"Dec, kangen's sister."
...~~~...
The night passed very long for Arghi who could not close his eyes to sleep for a moment. Just stay in the moon room without doing anything. Every hour Arghi would read a letter from the Moon, then cry again. As it continued over and over again until the sun perched dashing in the sky.
Arghi forced his body up into the bathroom, preparing to go to the tomb. Early this morning he came to him in a hurry. Pamit went back to America because her business there was actually not finished. Arghi nodded, and then quietly listened to Dirga's advice. About ten minutes later Dirga finished his tirade, quickly went out.
Arghi tidied his shirt collar. Looking at his face from the glass. Black and puffy eye bags, pale lips, upright was not firm. Arghi shook his head not caring to immediately walk out of the house. Driving his car at moderate speed.
It didn't take long for him to reach the funeral. Arghi walked slowly towards the gravestone of his two favorite teenagers. But his steps stopped when he got there.
There was a woman who was crying sobbing beside her sister's headstone. The cry sounded painful in his hearing. Who is that girl? The Moon only had Lisa as a girl friend.
Arghi kept silent, waiting for the girl to finish with her cries.
"Saya, I'm home." The girl finally got up. When they turned around, the two met. Long enough they were silent until the girl's voice broke the silence.
"Mas want to come here?"
"Are you ready for the Moon?" Ask Arghi without further ado.
"I'm Moon's sister." Arghi who understood with silence the girl.
"Ah, I'm Caya's friend in the parlor."
Arghi is reminded of the story of the Moon. The kind girl who always accompanied the Moon, even willing not to go for a walk to accompany the Moon.
"Can you come with me? I want to ask you something." The girl hesitated.
Arghi walks first, taking the girl to a nearby cafe. Order two hot chocolates to accompany the conversation.
"I'm Arghi." His hands are out front.
"Yes." Said the girl clumsily welcoming Arghi's hand.
"My sister is closed. He never told me about his life in the home. Is he happy, or miserable. So please, tell me honestly how the Moon lives there."
"His life is very bad..."
"Mother, she took mom's money. We saw him sneaking into the room and taking a lot of money!" Said a child stirring. The others would agree. Not allowing the Moon the slightest word of self-defense.
The mother of the parlor stared at the Moon sharply. The torrential rain out there adds a horror impression to the busy Moon shaking her head, denying all of those accusations. They wanted to talk, but they didn't let the moon defend themselves.
"Mom, I didn't take my money!"
"Where is anyone nagging me."
"Thieves!"
"Munafic huh, pretend to be good in front of mom."
Various painful snags came out. The moon is getting cornered.
"Silence everyone!" Exciting mother home.
"And you, to the page now. Stand there till night!"
Lightning boomed as if being a backsound in a movie. The moon looked at the mother of the parlor in disbelief.
"QUICK MOON!" His impact.
"That's where it started. Me and Caya were 6 years old. And since then the Moon has been shunned and treated badly by other children, as well as the mother of the parlour."
"Till a week after the incident. I accidentally heard the plans of those who wanted to make Caya even more hated by the mother of the orphanage. Caya really does not take a penny. They're the ones who framed Caya. They don't like the mother of the parlour who always put Caya together. That's where I feel so stupid. Follow Caya who knows nothing. I immediately found Caya in the backyard for a story of what I heard up to their rotten plans. But Caya forbade me to do anything. Caya also forbade me to tell the orphanage mom that it was just a trap."
"I once secretly met the mother of the orphanage to tell him everything. But the mother of the parlor does not believe. And after all, Caya's life never calmed down. He was often punished for standing in the backyard during heavy rain and lightning. Caya also only fed once a day."
Arghi. As bad as it turned out to be the life of the sister. Even after leaving the home, Moon was still treated badly. Now he understood why the Moon was so afraid when the rain was falling. Moreover, coupled with lightning and lightning, the girl could to the point of crying in fear.
"Sorry, I can't do anything just yet."
Arghi is back to reality. Staring at the lowered Lya with a guilty look. Arghi smiled gently.
"It's not your fault. I thank you for accompanying the Moon. Even you are willing to miss your sightseeing event just to accompany the Moon. I'm also very grateful for preventing Moon from ending her life."
He raised his direction. Staring at Arghi who was smiling shadyly towards him.
"Once again, I'm so grateful."
...~~~...
Arghi stopped his car at the park the last time he came with the Moon and the Stars. The atmosphere is still the same, quiet. Arghi sat on a long bench in the same place that day.
The difference is that he is alone now.
Arghi leaned his body against the back of the bench. Closing his eyes tightly as a gust of wind pierced into the bone even though he had worn a super thick coat. All the memories twisted in his brain like a broken cassette.
The moon, the woman he cared for the most, had disappeared from his arms. It was very difficult for him to remove the shadow of the Moon. Wherever he was, the presence of the Moon he always felt. Being sincere is not as easy as being said. Arghi would rather lose property than his best friend and sister. Even Arghi would have preferred her to die.
Arghi breathed a tired sigh. He shouldn't think like that.
He recalls the Star's curse as they sat on the midnight rooftop. His best friend claimed to have special feelings for his sister. Arghi repeatedly told Bintang to be honest, but the man was too cowardly.
"I guess you know the future, so don't want to be honest." Arghi laughed.
The stars and the moon do hold each other's taste, but none of them speak. Both of them just kept quiet, letting the feeling grow with each passing day. Until now God has united the two.
Arghi nodded slowly. God knows what is best for them. His task now is just to let go, live life as usual, and wait for the time to run out.
"Rest in your peace."
