On a bright morning as bright as the future, there was a Moon that was falling asleep on its stool. The bell has not yet sounded, so the Moon chose to sleep first to reduce drowsiness. The star that had just arrived was astonished to see such an unusual sight.
"Lan," call the Stars while poking the Moon's shoulders.
The Moon's head is raised. Stars can clearly see the dark circles that are in the eyes of the Moon.
"What's? You in?" Ask the Moon like a dazed person.
"Eh, no. Go back to sleep, I'll wake up."
The moon slid her head over the folds of her hands and went back to sleep.
"Buset, the very item of his eyes."
The star rests on the back of the chair and lifts both of its legs on the table. A very fitting pose for him to sleep. But not yet had his eyes closed, the sound of the bell entering made him return to his starting position.
"Lan, wake up by the bell."
The moon woke up. Rise up from his seat and at full speed run out of the classroom. In less than 30 seconds, the Moon had returned to the classroom with a wet face.
The moon threw her body into a chair.
"Lo didn't sleep semalem?" Ask Stars.
"I just slept." Answer Month.
The star has a flat face. "Not that, semalem."
The moon shook faintly. "Today there was a sudden olim, I was told to go forward."
"alone?" The moon nodded back.
"Kan lo dah pinter, why learn to not sleep anyway?" Ask the stars.
"Class 12 material" replied the Moon briefly.
Just as the Star wanted to open her mouth in protest, someone entered the classroom making her have to keep her mouth shut.
...~~~...
It's seven o'clock at night. Arghi walked slowly towards the dining room, sitting on one of the empty seats beside Cahyo.
"Why son? Your face is so big?" Mentari asked with a worried look.
"Father," answered Arghi smiling slightly.
"Yaudah, now eat first, then take the medicine." Said Cahyo directly obeyed by Arghi and Mentari.
No one else makes a sound. Everyone focused on their food. Until Cahyo and Mentari finished eating, they compactly stared at Arghi who still had not finished his meal.
Just now Cahyo wanted to reprimand, the twang of the spoon that fell first silenced. Arghi clutched his left chest firmly while biting his pale lips held back a groan.
Mentari came up to Arghi. "You're gapapa, baby?"
Stupid question, it was obvious that Arghi was in pain.
"Gapapa," Arghi replied with a forced smile.
Cahyo got up to help Arghi walk into the room. While Mentari is quick to prepare drugs that must be taken Arghi.
"Rest is yes." Mentari stroked Arghi's mane fondly.
"A further ten minutes we'll be leaving. You take good care of yourself. Don't forget to take the medicine." Arghi.
"Jude, you rest. We're gonna get ready." Cahyo's orders then came out of Arghi's room with Mentari.
A long sigh is blown to neutralize the pain. His hands were still busy massaging his chest softly which was very painful.
On the other side of the Moon who was working on the exercises immediately fell to the floor because his hair was pulled strongly by someone. His eyes immediately caught the figure of Cahyo with a creepy look.
"Because you're Arghi suffering, you son of a bitch." Cahyo's hiss is right in the Moon's ear. Today he is very tired due to his endless work plus Arghi who has just relapsed. So as usual, the man will vent it to the youngest.
PLAQUES
The face of the moon to the right. The taste of his own blood was oozing in the mouth so fiercely that slap.
Cahyo stopped her grip on the Moon's hair, starting to remove the belt perched on her waist.
Pass month.
Until the belt slapped his back even Moon remained silent. His face did not show any reaction, just silently staring blankly at the floor of his room.
Until the whipping of the seventh Moon is still not budging. He admitted, his body hurt a lot. It was very desirable that the Moon released its body one by one so that the pain would soon disappear. But somehow he couldn't show the look of his pain. Has he gone numb?
Cahyo again gripped the Moon's hair. "I want to go. Just be careful if I go home Arghi to why."
After that Cahyo let go of his grip violently. "Lock the door!" Then get out of the Moon's room.
"Loh Arghi, what are you doing out?" Cahyo.
Arghi looked at his father. "Daddy what adek?" Ask Arghi without further ado.
Cahyo approached Arghi. "Reverse to the room, you must rest."
Arghi ignored his father's orders. Brushed down Cahyo's hand that was holding her shoulder then slowly stepped into the Moon's room.
Locked up.
"Dec, open the door!" Arghi's orders while banging on the door of Moon's room.
"Reverse or more than this?" Threatened Cahyo to hold Arghi's hand.
This was the reason why Arghi could not do anything when his sister was injured. Cahyo's threats made her afraid to act because the first time she learned that her sister was being abused, Arghi ignored her father's threats. His sister was hospitalized and had to be treated for six days. Please imagine for yourself how Cahyo tormented the Moon.
"Why?" Arghi was silent for a moment to catch his breath. "Daddy's own flesh and blood, why is that father so hateful as well? Everything that goes by is not wrong! It's destiny! You can't be guilty of any of that, just as you are wrong God!"
"Don't say much. Back to the room, Arghi." It is not Cahyo who speaks but Mentari.
Cahyo pulls Arghi forcibly and takes him into the room.
"We were gone for five days. There will be someone coming home. You take good care of yourself, don't forget to take the medicine." Mentari's Advice.
"We're leaving."
Moon heard all the talk of her brother and both her parents. His body hurt, but his heart hurt even more. Her tears flowed but her face was empty.
"FUCKING BRINGER!"
"UNUSEFUL!"
"YOU'RE BECAUSE OUR PARENTS DIED!"
"YOU ARGHI ARE SUFFERING!"
"DO WHAT YOU LIVE IF YOU ONLY BECOME RIGHTEOUS!"
The moon pulled her hair tightly until some of her strands slipped off her head. Those piercing words continued to haunt his head. It was as if mocking him until he wanted to take his head off.
"sickness,"
"Sorry brother,"
"Mother's father, sorry the moon is useless, but this hurts a lot,"
"Sorry,"
"Sorry,"
His grip on the hair came to a halt as the sound of knocking on the door sounded.
"Grandfather," call Arghi Iirih.
"Dad you're gone, don't you want to open the door?" Ask Arghi.
"So, I want to hear a bad story."
Arghi was silent, waiting for the response to be given. But the Moon still does not flinch.
Arghi sighed, then sat his body with the wall as a backrest, right beside the door of the Moon room. Both of his legs seemed unable to support body weight anymore.
"Sister dear very equally adek, more than the affection of sister to yourself. When you're tired, just look at the smile so it feels like the burden of your brother is all lifted."
"But brother can not be a treatment tired, even so the cause of fatigue itself. Brother feels useless. Brother can not take care of adek, even make adek more tormented."
A drop of water fell from her beautiful eyes.
"Pengen died just like it," very clean. It was almost unheard of if the atmosphere was noisy.
The moon rose and opened the door to her room. His eyes caught the silhouette of Arghi sitting limp with his eyes closed and lips very pale.
"Sister," shrieked the Moon.
"Sister, open his eyes! Don't say that again."
Arghi smiled as he opened his eyes. Staring at the face of the brother who looks sad with dark circles under the eyes narrowed it because of lack of sleep.
"Why aren't you here? Should have rest in the room, make worry know! Don't say that again, don't stay, you don't have anyone here."
Arghi looked at the face of his sister. His right hand was raised and then cupped the face of the Moon. Pulling the Moon into his arms, grasping the thin body with great care. Afraid that his embrace would add to the pain of his sister.
"Sorry" whispered Arghi.
The moon does not reply. Too tired to hear Arghi say sorry. Though his brother had no fault, he was the one who was wrong as Cahyo called for.
The moon put her right hand to Arghi's left chest. "Don't hurt, don't hurt brother."
Arghi smiled, clasping the Moon's hand tightly. "With the presence of adek next to the brother is enough to say the pain."
Arghi let go of his embrace. "Come to the room."
After sitting Moon to the edge of the mattress Arghi took the medicine box. Then taking the place beside the Moon, began to take out the necessary items.
The face of the Moon was instantly alarmed. The girl knew what she would do after that.
"Hold his front shirt."
"But-"
"Nonsense medicine." Cut Arghi lirih.
"Silver rest yes, big brother shoots. Adek can take medicine himself."
"Hold his shirt adek." The moon finally complies. I could not bear to see my face and the sound that sounded so powerless.
Arghi lifted up the Moon shirt to reveal a back that had been covered with wounds. A lot of skin that peels until it shows the flesh. There was also a long blackish purple bruise. And what made him limp the most was the wound his father had just carved. Uncertain directional scratches with a little blood in some deep parts. Imagine him in the position of the Moon maybe he will not be that strong to hold the ringing.
Arghi knew that his father always used a clasp to injure the Moon. And Arghi knows how hard his father's belt buckle is if it hits the skin.
His hands clenched tightly. His frown was crinkling withstanding the pain in the chest. Arghi tried to regulate his breathing as slow as possible so as not to be too obvious if he was in pain. Then start treating the Moon's back.
"Come bobok," Arghi asked after his work was done while pulling the Moon lying on the bed. His arms he stretched out as the Moon's head pad. Pulling the body of the sister who was lying straight to turn tilted facing towards him.
"Want to tell a story?" Arghi asked while stroking the Moon's head.
Instead of answering the Moon instead came forward to embrace Arghi. "Don't hurt."
Arghi replies to Moon's embrace, "Yes."
Both of them were silent for a long time. Arghi looked down to see his sister who was still literate.
He suddenly remembered something.
"Dad hasn't eaten yet, eat first." The moon immediately shook.
"This is Malem," the Moon pleaded.
"Sister,"
"Hmm?"
The moon was silent for a moment.
"Are you going?"
Arghi's forehead is wrinkled. "meaning?"
The moon let go of her embrace, looking at Arghi with a gaze that was hard to define.
"Dead."
Arghi's body froze. His throat was like being squeezed by something invisible. Not expecting what just came out of his lips. This is the first time the Moon has said the things Arghi has avoided the most. The soft words with the empty look made his chest more stirred.
"Don't talk carelessly."
"Useful brook. Even the father of the same mother hates the same adek. Adek can only trouble his brother, and brother became sick like gini. A-"
"Stop." Cut Arghi. Can Moon see flashes of anger from her sister's beautiful eyes.
And without speaking again, Arghi got up and left the Moon's room. Leaving the younger brother on the verge of despair.
"When the world dies, the world has nothing to lose." Mumbled wailing.
The moon wiped away her rough tears then rose to catch up with Arghi. I don't know why his heart told him to go back to Arghi.
"Sir," Moon opened the door of Arghi's room slowly.
"SISTER!"
