Watching You With Do'A
Chapters. 79: When It Arrives...

That afternoon, as usual every weekend Laila will definitely visit Aida. Laila came to bring her friend's favorite food, "assalamu'alikum," said Laila cheerfully, when she found that Ms. Ning was closing the door of the rolling shop because the stall was already closed.

"Wa'alaikumsalam ning Laila," Ning replied with a big smile, "just go in, ning, her Aida neng is inside," Ning pointed her index finger inward.

"Ready," replied Laila and immediately walked quickly into the shophouse.

"Da, I brought spring rolls" exclaimed Laila, as she walked in. Aida greeted her with her hand out, though still sitting in front of the television with Tio. Because Ms. Dibyo just came home, with Bunga and Endang, Dibyo's neighbor who helped mbak Ning at the stall.

"Where, where? It's still warm, right? I wanted to stay from last night to know La," lamented Aida, who grew up like a craver.

"Are you late for the cravings? The stomach was as big as mahameru, still craving aja.." ledek Laila, who made the two friends laugh together. "Brojol's just now, right?" Laila asked, while stroking Aida's stomach which seemed to have started to come down.

Aida nodded, and then was about to get up.

"Where are you going?" Ask Laila.

"Take the plate," Aida replied.

"Udah, just sit down. let me take it, right," Laila rushed to the kitchen to take two dishes, because in addition to bringing spring rolls she also brought serabi.

"Same for tea all dong La?" Pinta Aida exclaimed, chuckling.

"Eh, look at the child. Your host is so good you're all over the guests!" Laila exclaimed from the kitchen, pretending to be annoyed at things still making tea for all of them, including for Ms. Ning and also her son.

Their relationship is really worthy of brothers, understand each other, help each other and protect each other.

Before long, Laila emerged from the kitchen with a large tray containing a plate of spring rolls, a plate of sherabi, hot tea in a teapot and four small cups, and,,, coinciding with mbak Ning who just entered, after closing the door of the stall and cleaning the table chair.

"Eah, I'm sure the guests are making their own drinks." Excited mbak Ning, who immediately took over the tray from Laila's hand because like her youngest daughter kyai Abdullah it was a hassle carrying a large tray in her small and soft hands.

"Yes, she said to the princess" Laila replied, sneering at Aida who was smiling.

"Sit down yuk mbak, I made a lot of all of you. for mbak Ning and Tio as well."

"Why don't you wait for me?" Said mbak Ning who felt bad for Laila, because it turns out Laila also made tea for herself.

"Just relax mbak Ning, like anyone else.we are family, yes anywhere that can be," replied Laila while smiling warmly.

"Come on, sit here." Invite Laila again, because Msbak Ning never come to sit together. "We eat afternoon snacks, while relaxing kayaking on the beach," continued his smile, which Aida responded with a faint smile while picking one warm lumpia whose aroma was tempting.

Ms. Ning then sat down, next to the son who was focusing on watching his favorite cartoons and seemed not to be disturbed by the presence of Laila who made a crowded atmosphere.

The three of them were then engrossed in enjoying a snack accompanied by a warm tea that was sweet fitting, according to their taste.

"Da, Zahra went to the hospital," said Laila suddenly, which made Aida suddenly stop her activity chewing the new serabi into her mouth.

"What pain?" Aida asked curiously, because she last met about a month ago.Zahra's condition looks very healthy, after a radical hysterectomy ning Zahra has been declared free of cancer.

"It was treated in the same hospital as back then, and happened to be the same treatment room" Laila explained.

"Syafahallah syifaan ajilan, syifaan la yughadiru ba'dahu saqaman," do'a Aida wholeheartedly, raising both hands facing the sky. *)

"Aamiin.." which was then amened by Laila and also mbak Ning.

A moment of silence greeted the living room, only the voice of an anchor who brought the news on television was soft because the TV volume had been in small right since Tio fell asleep just now.

"So, I'm just staying here tonight and tomorrow morning should be back at the hospital." Laila said unraveling the silence created.

"Then, tomorrow I bring breakfast ya ning.. for ning Laila and gus Umar," bargained mbak Ning vigorously.

Aida nodded in agreement, "many servants, let it be until the afternoon." Aida said, "In the refrigerator there is still fresh meat, right? Made rendang aja mbak, Laila and her brother most like the same rendang," continued Aida, still with a mind that glares somewhere?

"Ready neng" replied Ms. Ning.

While Laila looked at him with a different gaze, but Aida never realized the gaze of her best friend.

Aida seemed to be still engrossed with her world, her eyeballs were clearly fixed towards the television that was still burning.but not with her heart and mind, "what could Zahra think with my refusal yes, but not with her heart and mind, until you get sick?" Suddenly his heart felt anxious and guilty.

"Do you still remember my favorite meal of Umar?" Laila asked in full search, which broke Aida's daydream.

"Well, um, isn't your favorite meal La?" Reply Aida a little.

Laila shook her head, "not that!" Laila Firm.

"Yes, because brother Umar and you are my brothers. So I remember dong?" Aida is still.

Back Laila shook her head, while looking at her with a sharp look.

Aida smiled, trying to neutralize her groggy self. "Honestly, sepert crossed his sweet memory when crocheting dreams want to be able to be coupled with Umar's gus.but only a glance because then changed with feelings of guilt on ning Zahra who begged her, begging her, but Aida was unable to fulfill the wishes of the man's wife in her past.

"Don't think of distance, I've asked you to let Umar call him brother like you." Aida stared back at her best friend.

"Of course, Laila is beautiful, our sister has a wife...does I have to be an actor in my own sister's household?" Aida tries to make Laila joke, but Laila flirts.

Laila still hopes, one day.Sister and best friend can be united and happy in the bond of marriage. "When that time comes Da" whispered Laila inwardly.
