"Well, you look so pretty and you're so fit to wear this dress" the boutique manager told Aphrodite as she finished helping Aphrodite try her wedding gown.
Aphrodite is in the dressing room. Middle standing in front of a large mirror that fully revealed himself who stood by wearing a dress that will be worn at his wedding with Francisco later.
Aphrodite was silent and did not respond to the woman who was the manager of the boutique. His eyes were busy looking around, looking at himself deeper in the mirror before him. Down there his hands shook without him noticing.
"Then I go out, I have to check on Mr. Francisco" the manager said to Aphrodite, but still did not get a response from the woman.
The manager left from there. Close the locker room door and let Aphrodite alone in there.
Aphrodite was still glued in place. He stood right in front of the three mirrors that were arranged around him, making himself visible from various angles. Aphrodite's two eyes involuntarily glazed over, her hands slowly moving. Stroll towards the mirror. She then rubbed the mirror plan that reflected her beautiful face in the wedding dress.
"Darling! Ugly huh? Then I'll just change, yes" Aphrodite turned around to step back into the dressing room. But he had not been able to step, his hand was already gripped by Xavier who spontaneously made his footsteps stop.
"No!" His words made Aphrodite turn her head towards him, with Xavier pulling her body, wrapping her arms around the woman's slender waist, "No need to change, no need to change," he said as soon as their distance was really close together. Aphrodite looked up; the face of Xavier who was now looking at her was intense. Their faces were completely close together, even from this close; Aphrodite could smell the fresh mint coming out of her mouth.
"…You already look so beautiful" she muttered, which spontaneously made Aphrodite blush even more with a gaze this close. It really always managed to make his heart beat faster than before.
"really?" Aphrodite stammered, she began to feel nervous.
"Yes. To the extent that, I want to kiss you," Xavier was about to land a kiss on his lips. But Aphrodite quickly held him back with her palm. His flushed face now turned to another direction, Aphrodite was not strong with Xavier's attitude towards her.
"Don't start! Many people are here" Aphrodite tried to remind. Xavier who heard it then chuckled, Aphrodite's behavior always managed to make him amused.
"Haha, sorry-sorry. I really can't control myself if I'm close to you."
"That's-that's it! I-I want to change!" Aphrodite said, pushing the chest of the man's field, trying to make distance between them.
"Well, yes" muttered Xavier who suddenly made Aphrodite who was staring at the wedding dress in front of him was surprised, she turned her reflexes towards Xavier who was not aware of when he arrived.
"A-ah yeah, good," he murmured as he smiled at her. Xavier turned to Aphrodite and looked at her.
"Do you like it?" Ask.
"uh? Of course, the dress is really beautiful."
"H-huh? M-married?"
"Yes. How's it?"
"L-yes, I want to wear a dress like this for our wedding later," Aphrodite looked back at the wedding dress before her. Really lovely.
"Vier, where are you, baby? Why can't I find you anywhere?" Aphrodite pulled out her phone again, about to call the man who became her lover. But again a long ‘tuuutt..’ sound that greets his phone call, indicating if the number he can not call. "And why can't I call you?" Aphrodite is getting restless. He then looked back at the screen of his phone, had almost two hundred times he tried to contact his lover, and none of his phone calls were picked up by Xavier.
The focus of Aphrodite and the rest of the invited guests instantly shifted as the host began to lead the show to the core event where the sacred event of the wedding was about to begin. The attention of everyone there immediately turned to where the couple who was going to have the wedding arrived. Slowly from the direction they were looking, a male figure began to step up to reveal itself among all the invited guests.
Aphrodite, who had originally focused on her phone, turned to look at the figure of the man who would become her brother-in-law, curiosity leading her to look at the man who had just entered. But instantly, he was taken aback by the familiar-looking figure in his memory. Seeing it spontaneously made him tremble, his heart rumbled and along with it, his eyes began to glaze over.
The pain he felt was so obvious in his chest. His heart was broken, as if pierced with a dagger that directly hit his heart. He was fixated in his place, his entire limbs seemed to die in an instant making him unable to move at all. His eyes continued to follow the motion of Xavier who then stepped past him, and once he saw him in such a clear state, making him even more sure if his eyes were not wrong.
Xavier continued to step until he arrived at the altar, which he stood firm. At first glance he could see Xavier sighing, before then standing facing towards the invited guests. Aphrodite still could not believe what she saw, it felt really like a dream; seeing the man who was her lover standing there, on the wedding altar.
"Hahh.." Aphrodite sighed. The tightness in his chest was really so painful. Especially every time he remembered the memory that made his heart break.
Since then, tears have been flowing down both of her cheeks.
"Ahh, what's wrong with me. Why am I crying," Aphrodite muttered. He wiped the tears that wet his cheeks.
"I should have buried all those painful memories so that I wouldn't continue to get caught up in that painful mass."
"Huft~" Aphrodite took a deep breath and exhaled in one breath.
"I should be able to look ahead. Because whatever I'm going to face and I'm going to do is in the front, not in the back. If I keep looking back and keep remembering what happened, then I will never be able to look ahead and step forward."
"Come Dite. You can! You are able to step forward and forget everything that has passed, bury your mass and start a new life."
"Remove all those bad memories and don't keep yourself locked in the same wound" Aphrodite braced herself. His hands were tightly clenched there.
