Twins Genius: Two CEOs

Twins Genius: Two CEOs
I find you…

During the office break, Aphrodite was asked to meet Jordan at a restaurant where she used to have lunch with Francisco. Because Francisco had a meeting with his colleagues outside the office, so Aphrodite agreed to Jordan's request and met him there. In the restaurant they sat on one of the tables located in the corner, the table adjacent to the window facing the road.

"Please give this to her." Jordan offered the small paper bag he bought yesterday when he went to the mall at Aphrodite's request so he could get back close to Laura.

"I'll give this to him." Aphrodite.

"I bought one for you too."

"Huh?" Aphrodite opened the contents of the paper bag that Jordan had just given her. There's two bracelets in there. "I'm sorry, but I can't accept this." Aphrodite took out one bracelet and gave it to Jordan again.

"Why? You don't like her?" Jordan asked with a confused face.

"I'm married. So there's no way I'm wearing a gift bracelet from someone else."

"Ah. yes, I understand." Jordan took the bracelet back and put it in his pocket.

"I'll make sure it gets to Laura safely."

"Thank you."

"No problem" said Aphrodite who then returned to focus on the lunch dishes that were being enjoyed by her.

Returning home, Aphrodite asks Francisco to take her to the place where she will meet Laura to give her the bracelet Jordan gave her.

"What do you want me to meet here?" Laura asked as soon as she arrived in front of Aphrodite who suddenly called her and asked for them to meet at a crossroads to talk about something.

"Yesterday I forgot that I had something to give you, so I asked you to meet here."

"Something you forgot to give?" Laura repeated her sentence with a confused face. Aphrodite thrust the paper bag in her hand at Laura. "What's this?" Laura opened and checked the contents.

"The bracelet I chose for you."

"But I already have one? Why do you bother buying?"

"It's okay, I just want to. When I got back from the toilet yesterday. I see these bracelets are good and they'll fit perfectly if you use them. That's why I bought it for you."

"Oh…"

"Accepted huh?"

"Np. Thank you." Thank you." Laura smiled knotingly.

"In that case, I should go home first. Poor Frans is waiting for me in the car."

"I'll be back too."

"See you." Aphrodite stepped away towards the Francisco car that had been waiting for her.

"It's over?" Francisco asked when Aphrodite arrived in the car.

"Yes, now let's go home."

Francisco ran his car engine and did it away from his place. Laura waved her hand when she saw the car they were riding in and on until it finally disappeared from their sight.

"Somehow, but this bracelet is similar to the bracelet she gave me." Laura compared the bracelet she wore to the new one she got.

Time passed, Aphrodite helped Jordan several times to meet and be close to Laura again. After enough processing, Laura finally began to show changes slowly, she no longer continued to run away every time she met Jordan.

"It's lunch time, how about we find a restaurant near here and have lunch together?" Jordan said to the others as the equivalent of staring at the clock that was coiled around his wrist at a glance.

"Alright sir, let me find one of the restaurants near here," said his secretary who then checked the tablet screen in his hand.

"If I may suggest, I know one of the restaurants not far from here. The dishes are delicious and the place is also quite comfortable." Aphrodite spoke up making the others look at her.

"Do you know any restaurants near here?"

"Yes." Yeah." Aphrodite nodded her head.

"Then show us the place" Jordan said.

"By pleasure." Aphrodite smiled, walking ahead with Jordan beside her and other office mates in the back. "You must have been surprised to see who was there," Aphrodite muttered in a soft voice as she glanced at Jordan.

"Why?" Jordan raised his brow next to a puzzled one.

"You'll know when we get there."

Aphrodite and the others continued to step until they arrived at the place Aphrodite was referring to.

"Good fun." Laura smiled wryly at the pair of customers who had just arrived at the restaurant where she worked. He then went to prepare another dish.

The restaurant today is really crowded, for some reason but today is different from the days before when the restaurant was not too crowded.

Aphrodite arrived along with her other office mates. They fell silent when they found the restaurant that looked very crowded visited by people who were enjoying their lunch.

"Gosh, it's a lot. Just this time I saw a restaurant like this in a very crowded state." One of his colleagues said, he was not stopping to look around.

"Let's look there." Aphrodite whispered to Jordan while pointing at Laura who was busy making an order for one of the diners who came. Jordan silently glued to his place, he looked at Laura speechless.

His focus shifted to Aphrodite then looked back at the busy Laura in the kitchen. "So.." Jordan hung up his sentence, he was speechless instead of playing when Aphrodite now led him to discover Laura's whereabouts all along.

"Ng, this is where he worked all this time." Aphrodite nodded softly while smiling.

"All right, let's find a seat." Secretary said.

They moved from their current place and went to the empty table. They sat separately at two different tables next to each other because the table there was only a few chairs.

Laura who saw Aphrodite arrive and approached her to greet her, she also met Jordan at the next table but tried to be ordinary and continued to focus on work.

Jordan just kept silent and continued to stare at her almost unblinkingly as Laura came to write down their order. "I finally found you.." Her inner self while looking at him intensely.

Aphrodite who noticed Jordan kept staring at Laura, then sent her a message; asking her not to make Laura feel uncomfortable. Because it will make their efforts all this time so messy.

Jordan followed his words and tried to be ordinary. Before long, Laura returned to her position to make food for them. The woman began to cook in the open kitchen.
