Aphrodite pushed her shopping trolley next to Laura beside her, again they were met in unexpected situations. Currently they are both in one of the shopping centers, both are shopping for some home needs such as soap and so on. Aphrodite walked with Laura while Francisco asked her to find some kitchen needs she had not had time to get, Aphrodite teamed up with Francisco so they would not go home too late.
"Well, by the way, how about we have a grave tonight together today?" Aphrodite gave me advice.
"Eat dinner together? Okay, I'm hungry too and I happen to know one of the good restaurants nearby. How about we go there?"
"Good idea, I'm hungry too. Francisco must also be hungry, if we wait until we go home first; it will take a long time. Not to mention I haven't cooked yet."
"All right then let's finish the groceries first after it's gone."
"Yes." Yeah." Aphrodite and Laura sped up, and they were about to have dinner together at one of the restaurants not far from where they were. After finishing the groceries and meeting Francisco again, Aphrodite asked Francisco to wait in the car and get the car ready so they could get out of there; meanwhile, she and Laura are now busy paying for all their groceries at the cashier. The two were in line until after their turn and finished, they both left to catch up with Francisco to the place where the man parked his car.

Jordan drove his car engine towards the road home, he continued to focus on the road in front of him. But his attention switches when his phone rings and shows the call screen of his mother. Jordan picked him up immediately, he did not want to continue in the terror of his mother just because he did not pick up the phone from his mother.
"What's wrong?" Asked Jordan as soon as the phone connection was connected to his mother across there.
"You still on the road, honey?" Ask the woman across there.
"Yes. I was driving. What's wrong? Mama wants to ask me to come home quickly because there's Carla? If so, I'll turn back to the office and won't be home before he leaves. Now I'm closed." Jordan was ready to hang up the phone but her mother held back.
"Wait around! Mama's not done talking, you're just playing cut and chop! That's not what you want to talk about, and at home there's no Carla."
"Then?" Jordan raised his brow next to a puzzled one.
"Mama wants to ask for your help, please buy me a cake. You remember the place where mom used to buy cookies, right?"
"Yes. What is cake for? It's late, the shop's closed, too."
"Mama wants to eat cake, but mama is lazy to go out. So let's see you're outside, please stop by for a minute and buy some cake for mama."
"But ma…"
"The chocolate flavor remember! If the place is closed, you look elsewhere. The mall is usually still open to this day, okay bye. Mama wait." The woman disconnected her phone unilaterally making Jordan can only sigh long as she can only follow the wishes of her mother.
"Well, it's been a night like this wanting a cake." Jordan muttered softly, he drove his car engine towards the cake shop where his mother used to buy cakes but arrived there, the store was closed making him inevitably have to go to the mall to look for it. Arriving at the mall, he immediately stopped his car engine in the parking lot that was there. He quickly entered and went to his destination store so that he could quickly go home.

"Laura, can I take this for a second?" Aphrodite thrust her groceries at Laura who was standing next to her. "What's wrong?" Laura asked who was confused by Aphrodite.
"I want to go to the toilet for a second, you just wait here. I won't be long, if you come with me you can bother."
"All right then, go." Laura grabbed all of Aphrodite's groceries and grasped them, pulled over from the road and began to wait for Aphrodite to return from the toilet.
On the other hand, Jordan had just finished buying his cake and was preparing to go home. He walked out of the shop that was there. But once he came out, his attention was first seized by the figure of Laura who stood not far from where he was at this time. Jordan was speechless, he watched Laura with his heart pounding.
"Laura.." he muttered.
Laura who felt being watched by a pair of eyes, then looked up. He was surprised not to play when he found Jordan standing while staring at him. Jordan stepped slowly while Laura moved back and forth.
"No! I beg you, don't run.." Jordan tried to hold him off. Laura was speechless. Jordan came back closer to him but at the same time Laura retreated also one step made their distance even further. "Please, don't run. Laura.." Jordan was still trying to hold her back while Laura was still speechless.
"Laura, let's go.." Aphrodite came back from the toilet but was shocked when she suddenly saw Laura who ran away leaving her there with groceries in her hand.
"Laura! Laura!" Aphrodite shouted for the woman but did not answer at all and continued to run without stopping. Aphrodite turned her gaze to find Jordan there. The two looked at the same surprised face.
"Jordan?" Aphrodite frowned.
"We'll talk about this later!" Jordan told Aphrodite then ran after Laura. Aphrodite could only be silent with various questions popping up in her mind, she was completely clueless as to what was really going on.
"What's this about? Do Jordan and Laura know each other?" Aphrodite. He stared in the direction where the two people he knew were running and lost among the passing crowd. Aphrodite turned her focus, grabbed her groceries and went from there to meet Francisco who was waiting for her in the parking lot.

Francisco stepped out of his car when the two women he was waiting for did not come, but he had not yet entered; he had already seen the figure of Laura who came out in a hurry. Francisco stopped his steps to pay attention to Laura with a confused look, they had a look before Laura finally approached him and stopped for a moment.
Fransisco is in his place still trying to digest what just happened. He frowned. "What's wrong with her?" Mumbled slowly. He soon saw Jordan screaming as he ran after Laura.
"Laura! Wait!" He screamed while continuing to run.
"Jordan? Laura, said? Do they know each other?" Francisco memonologist.
"Frans.." Aphrodite ran up to Francisco who was standing there. The man turned his head towards Aphrodite who had just come out with her groceries.
"Darling, what's wrong with Laura?"
"I also didn't know I had just come out of the toilet and he suddenly ran away as soon as he met Jordan."
"So it's really the Jordan we know?"
"Yes." Yeah." Aphrodite nodded her head.
"Well, do they know each other?"
"I don't know either. Never mind, now we're going."
"Oh yeah, Laura said she won't be able to have dinner with us. He's really apologizing." Jordan grabs Aphrodite's groceries and takes her to a ready car. Aphrodite stepped behind him, and they sat in their car and drove away from there to have dinner together at one of the restaurants not far from where they were.
...*...
Aphrodite cleared her throat in panic as Jordan kept looking at her without saying a word, the man just kept silent as he looked at her with both hands folded on the dining table they were sitting on. Aphrodite turned her face the other way while feeding the food on her spoon into her mouth, really; she was uncomfortable with this. His heart dak duk almost dislodged, he felt like a criminal who was in the interrogation room to be asked a lot of things. Was when realizing Jordan's gaze that gave off an uncomfortable aura managed to make him even more agitated.
"P-sister Jordan didn't eat?" Aphrodite tried to break the silence that enveloped them. Aphrodite is currently enjoying lunch time with Jordan at one of the restaurants located not too far from where she reviews the location to take care of projects that are being handled by superiors and team one division. And after his task was done, Jordan invited him to lunch together just by himself.
"No," he said briefly, making Aphrodite even more uncomfortable. Aphrodite grabbed her glass and gulped it down softly, her two eyes silently glancing towards Jordan. And the man was still staring at her intensely.
"There's something I want to ask you," he said, then made Aphrodite switch eyes. He felt a little relieved that Jordan was finally willing to talk.
"What do you want to talk to me about?" Ask Aphrodite formally.
"No need to speak formally. It's just the two of us here, so you can call me by my name. Plus it's outside office hours."
"O-okay…"
"I want to ask you, since when did you and Laura know each other? Are you guys friends? It seems you two are close enough that you go together to the mall to shop."
"Well, I'll answer them one by one. First I knew Laura was practically only a few weeks, we were friends plus I learned to cook from her and also worked at one of the restaurants. And for the incident at the mall last night we just happened to meet, so we decided to continue shopping together and wanted to have dinner together but it was not so because Laura said she had a sudden affair. But...if I may know, what is the relationship between you and Laura? I don't know why but I feel like Laura left last night not because she had a sudden affair. But because you suddenly appeared in front of him. Do you two know each other?" Aphrodite asked Jordan.
"Me and Laura know each other. He and I dated, but both of my parents were against my relationship with him. Then my parents decided to match me to Carla until I was forced to get engaged to her. A few months before my parents forced me to get engaged, Laura suddenly disappeared somewhere. According to some news I got from some of her friends, they said Laura went to cooking school in Belgium. But I can't confirm it because I don't have enough traces to find it. For years I waited for him and hoped to see him again, until then I met him again by accident. But at our meeting again, he showed a reaction that was completely beyond my expectations. And that's when I felt that something was wrong with what was really going on, I wanted to ask Laura what really happened. But he always dodged and ran away from me." Jordan is long. Aphrodite who listened to him could only remain speechless, she knew what Jordan was feeling. Because he had experienced something similar. The difference is that the story is more painful, because Xavier who was loved so much is not disappearing without news. Instead of going with another woman and right in front of her.
"If you're really friends with Laura, that means you know where she's been hiding, right? Do you know where he is now?" Jordan stared expectantly at Aphrodite. Aphrodite nodded slowly.
"Yes, I know."
"That means you can help me get close to him again. Will you help me get back with Laura, I really hope for you."
"I honestly want to help you. But.." Aphrodite hung up her words for a moment, her brain was still thinking about what the risks of each step she would take later.
"But what?"
"If I help you directly, then it will ruin my friendship with her. I didn't want it to happen, because Laura and I were getting close to each other. If I suddenly bring you into Laura's life again, then it could be that my relationship with her is broken. And in the end it will be harder for you to unite with Laura again."
"Then what should I do? Do you have any other ideas? You're the only hope I have of reuniting with Laura, and I really need your help."
"Give me time to think of a better idea. I'll try to get you closer to Laura again."
"Thank you, I'm really glad you want to help me." Jordan smiled wryly towards him. Aphrodite simply nodded softly in response.
Unknowingly when they had been busy discussing, there was someone who kept watching the two from a distance. His hands down there clenched tightly, and his heart rumbled over filled with heightened emotions in an instant.
