"Huft~" Aphrodite let out her long sigh. For some reason since he kept remembering yesterday's events his chest felt tight. And that made him continue to criticize his choice of deciding to agree with the marriage of himself and Francisco.
Aphrodite stepped towards the entrance of her office made of glass there. As soon as he arrived at the door, he pushed the door fast and stepped in.
Arriving inside, people instantly turned their attention to Aphrodite who had just arrived. Staring at Aphrodite with a gaze that was difficult to understand by her.
Aphrodite tried to be ordinary even though curiosity and question marks kept popping up in her mind. He tried his best to ignore the situation in the lobby of his office.
He stepped up to the elevator there, entered and stood up and then pressed the button that would directly deliver him to the floor where his division was located.
"Somehow the gazes of the people from earlier felt different to me," his inner man who was now bowing his head while sighing deeply for the last time.
The elevator doors opened and closed several times before Aphrodite arrived at her division. Several other employees who had arrived began pacing in and out of the elevator in the overlap.
TING!
The elevator stopped right on the floor where it was working. Aphrodite stepped out of there and walked a little down the corridor that led straight to her place of work.
His steps came to a halt when suddenly in front of his division room, some of his office friends gathered while chatting there. His crowd was enough to rally the entrance to the point that he was even difficult to break through.
Aphrodite approached them and stood at the very back. But as soon as he arrived, everyone's attention turned to him. All of his division one friends were staring towards Aphrodite who had just arrived. His gaze was as puzzling as the gazes of the people working in the lobby.
Aphrodite was glued to her place, staring at her friends with a puzzled look on her face.
"W-What's this?" Aphrodite asked a little. He's trying to figure out what's really going on with everyone. And why has everyone been staring at him like that ever since he arrived at the office. Honestly, it was really disturbing to him.
"Aphrodite, you're fired" said one of the women there. The woman was wearing a tosca shirt with a skirt over her knees. His nose supported round-shaped glasses that looked thick.
Aphrodite heard him. He cannot speak the words he made. I don't know what mistake he made to the point that he was fired. So far, as long as he works. He felt he had never made a mistake, but why was he suddenly fired. It really made him shocked.
"W-what?" Aphrodite. His brain was still processing every sentence that had just been thrown from the woman's mouth. He was still trying to digest every word.
"I heard you were getting married." Jenia walked through the crowd and stopped right in front of Aphrodite. Jenia stood with a large cardboard box of Aphrodite's work goods that had been packed.
Aphrodite was shocked when she heard Jenia's words. Oh come on, who wouldn't be surprised to suddenly get news like this? They don't even know who they got the information from. Aphrodite had not even met Antonio to talk about this, nor was she fully convinced of his decision.
"W-what? Who said?" Aphrodite asked confusedly.
"I heard your future husband is a CEO of our corporate partner huh? Well, you're so great."
"How did you get close to him? I want to know!"
"Do you have any tricks to get him interested in you? If so, I'd like to ask you for tips."
"Wait on! What do you mean? I don't understand at all. And what is this? Why are you packing up Jen's stuff?" Said Aphrodite who was beginning to feel confused by the situation she was in.
"So the division head came here and he announced that you were fired. No, rather resign. It's just with... help from your future husband? That so?" One of his friends there answered.
"uh? Meanin? I really don't understand. When did I tell you I was going to stop working? I didn't even say I'd quit."
"Your own husband-to-be came here and told me you had to leave this company."
"Huh?" Aphrodite scrunched her forehead.
"really. And she ordered me to take care of all this, "Jenia thrust Aphrodite's stuff at the owner.
"wait. I still don't understand! And I don't accept being fired all of a sudden like this!" Aphrodite looked a little upset there. Now his feelings are mixed between confusion and annoyance.
"Then you mean a husband? Wh who? I don't understand?!" Aphrodite was still trying to find answers to the questions that kept popping up in her mind. His brain is still not fully connected, has not clearly captured the figure intended by his friends.
"Don't pretend, we already know if your future husband is—"
"You done yet?" Fransisco asked who had arrived there and made the speech of one of Aphrodite's friends cut off.
Their focus immediately turned to look at the figure of Francisco who had just arrived there.
Aphrodite turned her head and was so surprised she found Francisco now standing right behind her. The man was dressed neatly, standing tall while smiling at him.
"French?" Aphrodite involuntarily shrieked in surprise. This made his other friends envious of him.
"Hi!" Sapa Francisco who arrived with his personal assistant. He stepped over to Aphrodite, eroding the distance between them. And now he is standing right beside her.
"What are you doing here?" Aphrodite asked with a puzzled look on her face.
"Of course to pick you up. Because you're gonna be my wife soon enough" Francisco puts his smile on it.
"Well, so you're really getting married? I really didn't expect it," said Jenia who made the focus of Francisco and Aphrodite turn to look at him.
"J-jen. T-no Bu—"
"Yes, right. Oh, and if it's not wrong you were that woman, right?" Francisco snatched quickly there, cutting off Aphrodite's evasive speech.
"really. Long time no see."
